I Punch the Tailed Beast Ball

”Let’s see the results of your training today! Do you want to spar with each other or with my shadow clone?” Nagasawa asked the five members of the Special Combat Squad.

Four months had passed since Nagasawa taught them Breathing Styles.

There were three months before the Academy’s graduation, and there would be a lot of fresh graduates.

This was what Nagasawa had in mind. Just like the Medical Students, the graduates could also sign up to join the Special Combat Squad, and they were not divided into classes like ordinary students.

However, after joining the Special Combat Squad, the graduates would have to take the assessment from their mentor. If they failed, they might be sent back to Academy.

Because of that, Nagasawa reminded that the Special Squad Class were recommended for those who were interested in swordsmanship. Otherwise, there might be the risk of failing the assessment.

In order to prevent these mentors from dragging their future students down in the future, Nagasawa wanted to check their progress and then changed the training plan according to the situation.

In the past, Nagasawa didn’t strictly manage Special Combat Squad, because most of the members were Jonin.

Even though Kosuke wasn’t a Jonin, he was an experienced Shinobi who had earned three Hokage’s approval. Masato Uchiha did not become Jonin because of his lack of achievements, but his strength was not much different from the other two Uchiha.

Therefore, Nagasawa felt that the people in the Special Combat Squad did not need him to specifically supervise them. After all, they were either young genius Jonin or the old and experienced Shinobi.

The Special Combat Squad basically only had two joint trainings a week. The first one would last three hours, where Nagasawa would explain some of Breathing Styles’ fundamentals and various sword techniques.

The rest of the time is for the Special Combat Squad to practice freely, and how they practiced depended on themselves.

”Shadow Clone! I should be able to learn more things if I spar with Nagasawa-sama.” Hatsumi Uchiha said eagerly.

After Nine-Tails’ attack, all Konoha Shinobi now knew about Fujiwara Nagasawa’s name.

Because a lot of Shinobi witnessed how Nagasawa teleported away the huge Vacuum Great Sphere with Flying Thunder God: Guiding Thunder, crushed the giant wooden statue, and throw Nine-Tails around.

This powerful strength instantly made Nagasawa have a group of fans, and Hatsumi Uchiha was one of them. She felt that Nagasawa was currently strongest Shinobi in Konoha. Even the legendary Sannin, the Third Hokage, and the Fourth Hokage was no match for Nagasawa.

”Shadow Clone.” The other two Uchiha also chimed in.

As an Uchiha, they were more willing to challenge the strong.

”Me too.” Hayama Shirakumo nodded and said. He naturally couldn’t let go of the opportunity to challenge the strong.

”Since everyone wants to challenge Nagasawa-sama’s shadow clone, then I will do the same.” Kosuke said with a smile. He didn’t care about strength at this age. However, he didn’t want to hold back his future students, he seriously learned Water Breathing.

”Since that’s the case, Shadow Clone Technique!” Nagasawa quickly formed a seal and separated a clone.

”Hatsumi, let’s start from you!” Nagasawa pointed to Hatsumi Uchiha, who was the first to speak.

Nagasawathen distanced himself, giving the room for his Shadow clone and Hatsumi to fight. Then he said to the others,

”You guys should watch the spar even though you’re not learning the same type of Breathing Styles. Breathing Styles is something that can constantly improve. If you learn something new, you can create your own Breathing Styles in addition to the five main Breathing Styles.”

In Demon Slayer Universe, there were other Breathing styles in addition to Sun Breathing and the five main Breathing Styles that Yoriichi Tsugikuni created, such as the Serpent Breathing and Insect Breathing, which derived from Water Breathing, Beast Breathing that derived from Wind Breathing, and so on.

Nagasawa also hoped that Kosuke and the others could be like the Hashira in Demon Slayer Universe, who created their own Breathing Styles from the five basic foundations.

After all, what you create would suit you the most, aside from some special circumstances.

Hatsumi Uchiha took a deep breath and inhaled a large amount of oxygen into her body.

She pulled out the sword at her waist with both hands, and the look on her eyes became sharp.

Her opponent was strong this time, so she naturally didn’t need to hold back. Hatsumi Uchiha instantly entered the state of Total Concentration: Burst Mode.

In fact, Hatsumi Uchiha had already mastered Total Concentration: Constant, maintaining Total Concentration Breathing at all times, which was the advanced version of Total Concentration Breathing.

However, Hatsumi discovered during that she could amplify the effect of Total Concentration: Constant with Chakra. She named this technique Total Concentration: Burst Mode.

In this mode, her Chakra and stamina consumption would increase, but at the same time, it would also greatly strengthen her physical power and amplify the effect of her Breathing Styles.

”Flame Breathing First Form: Unknowing Fire!”

Hatsumi Uchiha gripped the sword with both hands, and her eyes had already turned into blood-red color as she charged at Nagasawa. The sword in her hands began to emanated orange flame.

The fire blade sliced through the air, leaving behind a fiery red trail as it struck Nagasawa’s shadow clone.

Nagasawa unhurriedly pulled out the sword that he had prepared in advance. He gripped it with both hands and similarly used his own Flame Breathing First Form at Hatsumi Uchiha.

However, Nagasawa’s movements were very fast. Although Hatsumi Uchiha was the first to charge at him, Nagasawa was faster!

Dang!

A sound of metal colliding rang out.

The two sharp swords that emanated flames collided together.

When their fiery sword collided, a fire pillar rose to the sky and exploded before the flame on Hatsumi’s sword was extinguished.

Nagasawa took this opportunity to push through Hatsumi’s defense and brandished his sword on Hatsumi’s neck.

”Your speed and power are fine, but your flame is a bit lacking. You need to deepen your understanding in Flame Breathing and Nature Transformation.” Nagasawa commented after putting away his sword.

The combination of Breathing Styles and Chakra naturally could be used for other things aside from strengthening one’s body. For example, the gold flame from his Sun Breathing was only achievable through Nature Transformation.

If Nagasawa continued to improve, one day his flame might reach the temperature of the sun’s core. At that time, it would truly be Sun Breathing, which was the result of fusing three Universes’ power with Yoriichi Tsugikuni’s talent.

”I understand. Thank you for your guidance Nagasawa-sama.” Although she was defeated in one move, Hatsumi was not discouraged. After all, her opponent was the Nagasawa who defeated Nine-Tails.

After thanking Nagasawa, Hatsumi walked back and made some room for the next person.

”Kosuke-senpai, how about you next?” Nagasawa looked at Kosuke.

Kosuke was the most experienced of the five, and he was definitely the strongest one now. Giving Kosuke the chance before everyone else would motivate everyone else.

A group of youngsters was not as good as an old man in his fifties.

”Sure, but be sure to hold back a little. My old bones can’t keep up with youngsters like you.” Kosuke pulled out his sword and slowly walked forward with a smile.
