The hivemind is conquering for me?

Opening my eyes, I was instantly greeted by a pair of glowing red eyes, less than an inch from my face.

”It went out.” A chilling voice spoke to me, exhausted and spent.

I remained calm, this not being the first time I have woken up in a similar predicament. As I contemplated moving, the voice resumed, as two hands cupped my face.

”I tried as long as I could to keep it alight, but I am not strong enough. Compared to your purity, my flames only doused it. Ruined it. I failed it. It’s gone...”

Keeping my voice calm and soothing I spoke, ”Lena. What does a fire require to sustain itself?”

”Energy.” Lena spoke without missing a beat.

”Right. You expended all your energy. The fire has taken its natural course after feeding it all your yummy energy. It’s gone now. Done. You know fire has to end eventually. Even stars end.”

”But-”

”-No buts. Look at you. It’s been over a day. You worked hard. You kept my flame alive for so long. I am proud of you. But it’s time to rest now. To gain your energy so you can spread your own fire again.”

Lena blinked slowly a couple times before slowly pulling her face away. Upon doing so I noticed her face looked haggard, sunken in. She had expended every last bit of Psionic energy in her body to feed my flame.

Hindsight was now telling me it was a bad idea to give her my balls; I would be refraining from doing so in the future.

”Go and sleep Lena. You need it. And I need you to be ready to burn a lot of Drakoshi without you getting shanked in the gut again. Can you do that for me?”

Lena shook her head. ”Can I see it? One more time? While I fall asleep? I just need to know it’s ok. That I didn’t mean to let it go out. Even though it’s natural. I want your flame to know that even though I could have fed it the entire world, I didn’t because it would make you sad.”

”It knows. Don’t worry. It appreciates that you took how that would have affected me. So here.”

I clicked my fingers together and allowed my flame to burn. Its natural red flames had a twinge of purple, my proof of dukedom gifted to me by the former duke that had now returned to Sol.

Lena finally removed her face from danger close range and proceeded to cuddle up next to me. ”So beautiful.” She looked at the flame, her eyes drenched in a look I knew all too well. Obsessive Love.

After a few minutes of her just lying there, her eyes getting heavier by the minute, I thought she was about to drift off before her eyes suddenly opened wide and she removed her clothes until she was just in her underwear.

She then returned to the position she was in, not giving me a glance further, though she did snuggle up closer before her hand reached across to my other hand. I pulled away on instinct, not wanting to burn her, but she then whispered in my ear softly.

”Don’t pull away, bestie. I just need to feel it against my skin and I can fall asleep.”

She then reached out again, this time her burn scared forearm positioned itself ready to push itself into my flame while I just tried to move my head away from the breasts being squashed into my face.

The smell of burning flesh then stopped my resistance as I immediately began to pay attention to Lena’s well being.

Her arm slowly traversed itself across my flame. I could feel her breathing, for obvious reasons, cease as she took a long gasp before pulling her arm away.

”Ahhh~” She moaned out in ecstasy before finally pulling back and laying back next to me, or rather on top of me. ”Mmmh~ You burn so good, Apollo. Thank you.” She said as she began stroking her burned arm across my abdomen.

”Don’t thank me for burning you Lena. I only did it because you need to rest and I know this will help.”

She giggled and rested her head in the crevice of my neck, making a few more mouth sounds before replying, ”Yeah. But at least you got a good motorboat session out of it. So we are even.

She then started slapping my abs softly as she closed her eyes. ”You and your cum gutters are too good to me, Apollo. Letting me come along and kill Drakoshi with my fire whips. Letting me feel your... Feel your fire against my flesh, purifying it. Pampering me when I am a little bit fire cranky. You are the bestest friend a girl could ask for.”

She then patted my... Gutters a few more times before I began to hear snoring coming from the Pyromaniac o and let out a breath of relief.

’Fire fuckers...’

Not being able to fall back to sleep after that terrifying awakening, I entered my Mindspace and Sol spoke.

” She seriously savours sizzling her scarred skin. I am simply shocked she shirks sexual striving towards you like the others. She has seen you naked, pressed up against you now and nothing. Even I fall fathomably fixated for your form as you are already aware al-

*Bonk*

Karate chopping her between the horns I just shook my head at her going over the top. She was still coming down from our pleasure earlier. Not exploding towards the end really allowed her to feel the afterglow and that after glow was regal.

”It’s refreshing to be honest. She does just want to be my friend. The girl is just cuckoo for the fire and the flames. If anything, she is sexually attracted to you without realising, not me, babe.”

Sol ceased her floating and placed her heels on the ground of my Mindspace, pressing her body into me and wrapped her hands around my neck.

The spheres of fire that were her eyes looked at me seductively, she bit her lips and her horns were billowing.

”Well she shall never have me, My Kindled. I am yours and yours alone. For all time.”

Wrapping my arms around her waist, she gave herself her blackened skin so I had some flesh to grip as I pulled her close to my avatar.

”I like the sound of that. Though perhaps you are just saying that to have another round? Hmm? In a location where you can scream as loud as you want. Where I can break you again. Would you like that? Should I go find another potion of fire resistance?” I said, playfully yanking her horn, causing them to billow even higher as the roleplay restarted.

”Yes, my Dangerous, daring Dragon. Devour and destroy my most sacred dungeon once more~”

...

Two days’ rest felt more like two minutes as before we knew it, we had received our orders and were making our way to a battlefield via aerial transport. The fighting across the entire line had apparently become even more bloody now than months ago. However the very centre, the largest conflict, was having some issues.

No structures, no defences. No trenches. Just open warfare. A slaughter. Naturally the Emoth clan were sending their strongest troops and reinforcements from orbit directly here. So killing as many as we could here would only benefit the war.

Looking around at the back of the ship, we had picked up a few more prominent powerful figures that were not a part of the college group. Rhea and Willow obviously, alongside the two knights that had survived the Drakoshi on day one of my arrival. They were all fixed up and had made it their mission to serve under me which I obliged.

Speaking of Knights though, Lena also recommended. ’Mech girl.’ Aka Alex, the knight I met briefly at Amberrock. During the guerilla war, the two apparently started to get along, which was either nice, or concerning. I had yet to find out. That being said, I saw no reason to refuse, her weapons were top of the line and we were here to eradicate Drakoshi after all. It would be a waste of talent.

Serena was also present, finally taking frontline command, alongside a dozen or so Spartari Military Psionic wielders. All were powerful. This was more than just an elite squad of combatants at this point. It was a death squad.

”Five minutes out, Sentinel.” I heard from the pilot from the seat next to me. I stood up and patted him on the shoulder before turning to make my way in front of the rest of the troops.

”Alright everyone. You know your strengths and weaknesses. Fortunately we aren’t hot dropping so we have more leeway into how we deploy. Auxiliary, you are staying far back. You have been given the experimental weaponry that I have liberated from our enemy. Use it well. Same goes for our marksmen. I don’t want to see you pushing up unless you are confident in your ability to stay alive.

As for everyone else. I will tolerate no personal glory, from myself included. I’ve given you your positions in the formation. Today we act as one individual. With our strength and tactics. We shall pierce through the Drakoshi centre and Decimate the grey skinned fucks! For Spartari!”
