The hivemind is conquering for me?

” About time you arrived, I was beginning to suspect you had left already.” Samantha spoke to the darkness after waiting for several hours. ”Apologies Mistress, I had to reach out to our informant on top of the fact that I don’t have your strength, it is hard to move around these streets without alerting suspicion.”

Samantha looked at the woman who emerged from the shadows with a small box and smiled at her friend. ”Aubree, you are one of Sophia’s best food suppliers. I am pretty sure you can handle yourself with these weaklings.”

Aubree put on a shocked expression due to the malice in Samantha’s voice. ”Oh wow, Keyla was right, You have changed slightly. Forgive me for invoking your ire mistress.” Aubree said, lowering her head slightly.

Samantha looked at her friend and sighed. ”Raise your head Aubree, I might be your superior, but you and I will always be friends, there is no need for servitude from you. Now, about the pod?”

Aubree looked up, glad her friend was still in there behind the new visage. ’I wonder if I will change when I finally become fully transformed?.’ She thought to herself before stating. ”Your pod crash-landed about two hundred miles west of this reef. The ocean there is ten thousand meters deep and with the size of the ’meteor’ no one has decided its worth salvaging. Our informant should be here within the hour, her family is well off and has procured a submarine for you.”

Samantha nodded her head to that information. ”Good. Very well Aubree, I won’t keep you any longer, I am sure you are eager to return to Mothers side. Leave the box and be safe cultist, all we do is for him.”

Aubree smiled hearing that. The ’him’ in question needed no confirmation. ”That is beautifully true Samantha. I will say hello to mother on your behalf.” Aubree then placed the box down, turned and left. Samantha watched and smelt her until the woman had disappeared from her senses.

Samantha felt a surge of emotions run through her. The greatest being pride. Aubree could tell how devoted she had become to her cause. She had let it become her so now if it failed, she would fail with it. She was a part of it.

She took in a deep breath and closed off her senses for a while until she felt nervous steps approaching her. The prey approached her, oblivious to the fact she was in fact, here until she spoke.

”I am surprised guns are allowed down here. One wrong misfire and the fury of the ocean would claim the lives of all.” Samantha stayed eerily calm as the weapon was pointed towards her until the one holding the weapon replied.

”I-Its not a. It’s a needler. Perfectly safe for down here. A-are you the new contact I am supposed to meet?” The woman asked, causing Samantha to emerge from the shadows, clearly surprising the woman as what would someone as pretty as Samantha be doing here?

”Contact? No Wendy, I am more than a contact, I am your new boss.” Samantha said as she strode forward.

Despite being the same size as the woman before her, Wendy felt a chill from the woman, something supernatural that made her presence feel much larger. She gulped back her fear and asked.

”So... Are you, Psionically gifted? I-I was told you could help me have power of my own.” Samantha raised her eyebrow and began circling the woman, making direct contact grabbing at her shoulder and waist as she did to assert dominance.

”You are getting ahead of yourself Wendy. So far, all you have done is given up where your brother was and your mothers power. There is still plenty more I need from you before we discuss your reward.”

”M- My brother. I expected him to be dead. Did you manage to retrieve the package?” Wendy asked. ”The package?” Samantha snorted with derision. ”Do you think I would care for such a trivial thing? No, I had ample opportunities to take that little trinket. I have no need for it.” She continued causing Wendy to grow confused.

”So what did you need Savitri for?” She asked, but got no reply as Samantha changed the subject. ”What do you consider Psionic power?” She asked, causing Wendy to go silent and look down to the ground.

Samantha in kind returned to Wendy’s front and pulled her chin up effortlessly. ”This isn’t a trick, tell me.” Wendy seemed nervous at first, but her ’interest’ forced her to speak. ”Psionics are unnatural powers that can manipulate the very fabric of the universe. They come in all forms, from trivial to deadly, flashy to subtle.” She said as her breath became sharp as the woman stared directly into her eyes.

”And is that the type of power you wish to have? Tell me, what type of power would you want the most in the whole wide universe?” Samantha asked playfully.

Wendy felt completely alone, exposed and vulnerable. Even with the needler in her hand. She gulped and then spoke her fantasy. ”I. I want to shoot fireballs. I want people to see me and recognise me as a woman with power.”

”I see...” Samantha said slowly before taking a few steps backwards. ”You want people to see you, fear you. Let all those know that you are the predator, not the prey?” The fear on Wendy’s face vanished. The woman just spoke the exact words that had been lingering in her subconscious her entire life.

”Yes, that is what I want! I will do anything to obtain it!” She said, ”Anything? A dangerous word. Tell me, would you be willing to disfigure yourself? Become someone new? Change the way you look entirely?”

Wendy hesitated a moment. She liked the way she looked, but ultimately, if she could become something more. Something greater than the mundane she currently was then. ”Yes absolutely. You want me to get fat? I will start eating so much that I balloon up!”

Samantha smiled hearing this. ”Oh you definitely will be eating, but you won’t gain any weight... Well not visible weight. Now, for my last question...”

Wendy was confused for a moment as the woman stopped talking. Then, out of nowhere, Wendy’s eyes went wide with shock as the woman’s form began to grow. Teeth elongating into fangs within her mouth that then vanished as tentacles sprouted over them. Sharp talons where her hands were just, looked sharper than any blade she had ever seen and her legs suddenly changed direction with a loud sickening snap.

Her eyes were open and her mouth was agape. ”This...” She couldn’t believe what she was feeling, she felt hopeless, weak and small. This is how she wanted to make others feel. Then, somehow she heard the same voice come from the mouth of tentacles.

”Would you be willing to sacrifice your very humanity for power beyond your understanding?”

Wendy’s heart was racing, her eyes darting across the creature’s body. Though her heart wasn’t beating fast out of fear... No, this is exactly what she wanted.

”Yes. I will do whatever you want of me. Just make me like you. Please!” Samantha was pleased. These types of cultists were the best. The eager took to the poison well, Keyla being such an example.

In a few moments she was back to her normal self, with her knees in the breeze. Samantha moved forward and caressed the woman’s cheek before smiling evilly. ”Good answer.” She rubbed Wendy’s cheek with her thumb before turning around and retrieved the small box Aubree left her.

’Honestly, Orchid is so lucky that her clothes just meld inside of her.’ Samantha thought as she picked up the clothes within and placed them on. Once dressed she turned to the cultist to be and smiled.

”Ok then Wendy, first order of business. Take me to a submarine. We are going on a treasure hunt.”

...

”That degenerate bitch!” Kathrine screamed. We were lying in the bed that came with her to the Mindspace. ”Kat.” I said and rubbed her back, but she was so steamed she actually stood up to pace.

”She could have at least told me instead of going AWOL! I have been worried sick. Hank said she hadn’t been home and naturally that left me thinking something bad happened! Nope! She has just gone off to gallivant with the golden child! Ugh! I swear on my life! I am going to cunt punt her the next time I see her!”

”Kat, I’m not the G-” She gave me an incredibly stern look as if daring me to say the words I was about to utter. ’ I can’t let her know that turned me on...’ Thankfully, she was too invested in her thoughts and began ranting for a little while before she eventually tired herself out.

As she crashed down onto the bed, she then looked up at me and smiled. ”Apollo, I’m horny and in desperate need of stress relief. How long do you have until you wake up? Two hours? Do you want to get busy?”
