Raising My Trash Ability into a Broken SSS+ Rank Skill

Chapter 849: The Shocking Result

Evelyn yawned as she removed the barrier and saw the condition of the battlefield.

The space was cracked, and the ground had completely disappeared.

Blood could also be seen sprayed over broken, floating pieces of ground.

As she looked around to see the victor, her father’s voice rang out.

”What an exciting battle, truly showcasing the heirs of two great families... and the winner is...”

After a dramatic pause, while looking in his daughter’s direction, he added, ”Armin Garissa!!”

Evelyn was surprised, so he really managed to beat that bulky guy?

Back when the two used to fight for practice, Armin always used to lose.

Len had an absolute advantage with his great speed and strength.

Armin did pick up a few tricks, but it seemed Len was prepared for them too, so how did this guy win?

She saw Len lying in a puddle of blood, both his arms missing.

There was a deep slash across his body that had nearly torn his torso in two.

There wasn’t even an ounce of energy left in his body, and his healing had stopped. Len was in a really bad state.

He would survive, but Evelyn truly wondered how he had been driven to such a state.

Then her gaze drifted to the victor... Armin.

And her eyes widened even more in surprise, a question instantly popped into her mind.

’Is... he still alive?’

He was still standing but looked so broken that his body might just fall apart at any moment.

Out of all four limbs, only one leg was left. Both his eyes had been gouged out.

More than half of his torso was gone, and even his skull had been crushed badly.

They were Higher Beings, and killing one was extremely difficult, to the point that they were nearly immortal.

But when fighting someone of the same level, there were, of course, ways they could die too.

It would take more than physical harm though, and in this battle, since Fader was overseeing it,

there was no way anyone was going to die.

’Still, his condition is just as I had expected. He must have been beaten all over the place.’ Evelyn thought.

Looks like she would have to watch the highlights of the battle later and see the special moves both of them had used.

Then she glanced at Armin’s father, Zengis, who sat in his seat with a wide smile.

He didn’t rush forward to help his son, instead simply basking in the glow of victory.

”...” She then glanced at the Asura Empress, who was also calmly seated.

She had removed the curtain and was looking at her son, her thoughts unreadable.

The Asura Empress had red skin and long white hair, her body was well-built and stood over seven feet tall.

Her strength was extremely high. Between Fader, Zengis, and the Empress, no one knew who would win.

In any case, now that the match had concluded and her fate remained just as before,

she would no longer be engaged to Len.

It was time to begin her own plan. It would be great if she could cancel this arrangement before Vritra got here.

With this in mind, Evelyn rose to her feet and began to speak, ”Father, I would like to-”

But Fader, fully aware of his daughter’s intentions, quickly cut in, ”Now, why don’t we let our brave fighters rest and heal?”

”Wait-” Evelyn tried to speak again, her brows knitting together in annoyance.

”It is time for you all to leave. Hopefully we will get to witness another exciting match again soon.”

After finishing speaking,

Fader quickly clapped his hands, and the entire audience disappeared instantly, leaving the whole place silent.

Len and Armin also disappeared, and only the powerful figures remained.

”Father! What. Are. You. Doing!!” she shouted, staring at her father in rage.

”My daughter, this is not the time for such reckless decisions. Even if you do what you are planning to do, it will bring no results and only make things worse,” Fader said, blocking their conversation from reaching the others.

”No, I can-” Evelyn spoke in frustration but was interrupted again.

”I just received a report. There is another major court case. It seems those same gods have caused another huge problem, and it is quite urgent. So, are you going there, or are you planning to stay here? I can send someone in your place.”

Fader asked.

Evelyn fell silent. She really wanted to use this chance to cut all ties with Armin.

But it seemed that would truly be impossible. She couldn’t understand why her father was trying so hard to stop her.

She even resented her family for seeing her as nothing more than something to be used for their own benefit.

”...I am going there.”

In the end, she could only make that decision. If someone else went there,

it could cause trouble for Vritra, but the way her father had suddenly brought up this court case,

it was almost as if he knew she would choose to go. Was it because of the excuse she always gave that she disliked the gods?

Or did he know something?

Whatever the case might be, she simply disappeared, feeling that she might actually punch her father if she stayed there any longer.

Fader stared at the empty space for a bit longer, then laughed and turned around.

”Now, Empress, since you have lost, my daughter will have no relation to Len, and you have already returned the passes to the Secret Realm, so this matter is concluded,” he said, looking at the Asura Empress.

”Hmm.”

She hummed and rose to her feet before flying away, disappearing as well.

”I am going to see my son, and you had better not play such tricks again. Don’t think I don’t know what you were trying to do. I will let it pass for Evelyn’s sake since she is going to become a member of ’my’ family!”

Zengis spoke, emphasizing his words.

”Huh? I wonder what you are talking about, but yeah, the engagement still stands. Take care, and let me know if Armin needs any medicine.”

He waved as Zengis disappeared.

”Should we leave too, Father?”

Fader then turned to his own father, Adam, who still sat there staring into the empty space.

”Haa, yeah. That girl is still so impulsive, never thinking about the greater good. She was about to ruin the plan. Well, I guess she will behave once she gets married.”

Adam stood up.

”Yes, Father. Right.”

Fader nodded while looking at his father with an emotionless expression,

but his thoughts were completely different.

”Anyway, that kid Armin is pretty impressive. I thought he was going to lose. I even placed a huge bet, sigh.”

The old man sighed.

”...What bet? You old bas- COUGH... Father, what bet is it this time?!”

Fader felt like pulling his hair out.

”Ah, nothing much. I just made a bet with the Asura Empress that her son would win.”

Adam replied casually.

And since Len had lost, Adam had lost the bet as well.

”And what were the conditions this time?”

Fader felt so angry that he wanted to punch his father.

Suddenly he understood Evelyn’s feelings.

So this was how badly she wanted to hit him?

”Oh, it wasn’t anything serious this time, just your Cloud Palace. But if I had won, I would have taken the entire Asura Realm.”

”...”

Fader’s lips stretched into a thin line as he stared at his father as if he were the biggest idiot alive.

Was it once again because of that cursed witch? The witch who carried a powerful curse upon herself, who stayed with the Asura Empress, and whose curse affected men whenever they were around her.

”You damned bastard!! How dare you give away my beloved Cloud Palace?!!”

That was what Fader wanted to say, but there was no way he could be so disrespectful toward his father.

So, swallowing his anger, he spoke through gritted teeth.

”You motherfucker, what gave you the confidence that you could win after losing more than thirty times? Did your brain come out with your poop?”

Fader asked in a respectful tone.

”W- What? Insolent brat, that is no way to talk! COUGH... Anyway, reflect on what you just said, a-and think of some way to get your Cloud Palace back yourself. That is your punishment!”

After speaking, Adam quickly disappeared.

Fader clutched his head. He felt like he was going crazy.

He looked around, suddenly wanting to take his anger out on someone.

But there was no one left around, so he could only further destroy the entire place.

Deafening roars could be heard for a long while. No wonder the Asura Empress hadn’t looked worried at all.

That damned Adam, he really was going to die one of these days.

...

Unaware of everything her father was going through, Evelyn cursed him with a life of endless misery.

Hoping his teeth would fall out whenever he tried to eat, his bed would burn whenever he slept,

the water would turn into lava whenever he tried to bathe, and his Cloud Palace would completely disappear.

Unknown to her once again, her curses really seemed to be taking effect in real time.

Fader had already lost his most beloved Cloud Palace.

Calming her mind, Evelyn sighed. She knew there was little chance of her plan working out.

But she hadn’t expected that she wouldn’t even get the chance to try.

’Whatever, at least I am going to see my love again! That is good enough for me, I just wish he would be happy to see me again.’

She wished, her heart would surely soar to the hundredth heaven if only she could see even a little love in his eyes.

While deep in thought, she arrived at the court, her outfit having already changed completely.

She walked toward her seat, a terrifying aura churning around her that silenced the entire court.
