Raising My Trash Ability into a Broken SSS+ Rank Skill

Chapter 890: Approaching War

But with his talent and creativity, he should still be able to absorb at least one of them by the time the lives end.

”For now, he must only be getting started. Unfortunately, I can’t lend a hand or assist.” The Crying Monk spoke while flying toward that spatial crack determinedly.

The Crying Monk looked back at the Higher Being Realm, where the clone of Vritra was present and operating.

With Misty Essence, he could cover things up and hide the clone’s origins.

And that nosy neighbor, Green Turd, had been especially silent ever since he received that trauma and shock, so everything was moving fine on that front.

Before long, he was even invited to a meeting of the Holy Righteous Heretics, welcoming Vritra as a new member formally.

All ten commanders were present at the gathering, and even Dipper was there in person. It was a grand welcome befitting a new commander.

Of course, for now, they wouldn’t really tell him any core information or secrets.

Currently, he was getting showered with benefits generously, to completely win him over and also as a way to control him through obligation.

Vritra had obtained another house there, a massive property, and many other gifts.

And just like that, Vritra’s puppet fully became a part of those heretics, slowly but surely becoming a core member and trusted asset.

There was even a group under him, a military unit of sorts.

Later on, Dipper even began to give him important missions, which Vritra always completed successfully with Divine and/or the Crying Monk’s help.

There was no problem on that side so far. Soon, that puppet would be able to obtain some crucial information and secrets.

The Crying Monk arrived at the entrance of the rift, muttering to himself quietly, ”It has almost been two weeks. Quite a bit of time must have already passed for him in that space. He must have already gotten closer to a fragment, right?”

While pondering and calculating the time differences, he directly sent those orbs to Vritra with a gesture.

He couldn’t enter that place himself or he would be locked forever in its depths, but Vritra was different.

After sending the orbs, the Crying Monk lingered around for a bit, hopefully, but failed to observe anything concrete about Vritra’s progress.

So he could only leave reluctantly, hoping Vritra could succeed in absorbing at least one fragment by the end of all lifetimes.

That would at least be laid as a foundation for his path toward the Higher Being level eventually. If he failed to absorb even one, then things would get ugly and grim indeed.

Soon, full of worries, the Crying Monk left.

...

BOOOM!

’Hmm?’

Inside the realm, Vritra, who was lying back with cracks all over his body while munching on a large piece of meat, tilted his head.

The illusory monster had grown significantly smaller and weaker.

Vritra had been in an endless battle against this creature for dozens of years.

It wasn’t easy, to say the least. It was worse than constant third-degree torture. Many times, Vritra almost felt like giving up, even after having gone through so much.

But he never gave up in the end. Giving up simply meant endless danger for himself and his family.

He would rather suffer now than stay weak and put everyone in danger.

And just like that, day after day, month after month, year after year passed, and the battle between the two barely ever stopped.

He had already died over a thousand times, and the experience wasn’t the least bit pleasurable.

Just as he was munching on a piece of meat while trying to endure the torture, the staff beside him buzzed.

’These are finally here.’

In the next moment, three orbs flew out of the staff, landing over Vritra’s hand.

But unlike before, when he would spend months absorbing them, Vritra simply gave a tight squeeze.

Breaking all three orbs, he then sucked in all the energy, the energy quickly merging with his body.

Rapidly increasing his status...

Demi God Lv 8!

Demi God Lv 9!

Demi God Lv 10!!

But now, this much didn’t feel like much to Vritra.

GRAAARRRRRRR!

The illusory beast let out another terrifying roar, attacking Vritra with all its might.

The cracks spread even further, but were also slowly healing.

Absorbing the energy, it wasn’t just his physical strength that was increasing.

Even his understanding of himself, his abilities, and the world were rising, and this was all just the perfect motivation for him to keep on going.

The way ahead was filled with countless problems, but the only option was to keep on going and not stop.

After a bit of rest, Vritra once again jumped to his feet and exploded forward, only to reappear after a moment.

’Bring it on!’

...

Just like that, days quickly passed.

There wasn’t much going on in the Higher Being Realm.

Vritra’s clone quickly gained the trust of the leader and other commanders in the Holy Righteous Heresy group.

To the point that they even started including him in important missions.

Despite that, they were still keeping an eye on him at all times. They weren’t stupid enough to completely trust him.

Not when a single mistake could completely ruin their plan.

So it could also be said that they were only feeding information to him that wasn’t too confidential.

And if it got leaked, they would find out in advance that he was a spy.

Aside from the various benefits he was getting, Vritra also obtained many important pieces of news.

Some directly from others, some through eavesdropping, and such things.

All of this was, of course, delivered to Evelyn, but she too was quite adept at such deception.

She didn’t do anything that could expose Vritra, letting him become a bigger figure among them.

Still, she was quite shocked and unsettled by one piece of news.

Dipper had gone to meet a Crooked, someone she was very familiar with.

Evel, the Crooked whom Evelyn had met in the last war, the one who had even glimpsed into her memories and knew about Vritra’s existence.

So, it became apparent that this group was mingling with the Crooked, which was one of the biggest crimes, a treasonous act.

Evelyn didn’t take any step, but as months passed on, she got another shocking piece of news.

There was actually a traitor in the Vespera Family.

But then it got her confused. What if Dipper was feeding her this information to sow discord? This really gave her a headache.

Although she was doubtful, she still started secretly checking all the close and distant figures associated with the Vespera Family.

In her family, at least she could completely trust her father.

At first, Evelyn waited, but Vritra couldn’t find out when the heretics were planning to attack, so she finally decided to inform her father about it.

Telling Fader about both things, the traitor in the family and the meeting with the Crooked.

She wanted to quickly take action against the heretics but also knew they couldn’t just arrest or kill that group.

If those people didn’t have backing or confidence, they wouldn’t have been so open about opposing the Vesperas.

So they also started secretly operating.

Although the Higher Being Realm remained enveloped in calmness, a turbulent storm was building underneath.

Evelyn was worried about Vritra but couldn’t get news about him, even from the puppet he created.

’At least he will be safe.’

She could only calm herself with this.

During this time, Armin bothered her quite a few times, but seeing her constant coldness, he was dejected and couldn’t understand why everything had changed.

In their respective training areas, everyone was going through their respective hell-like training.

Occasionally, they could take breaks and talk to each other, but only Vritra remained out of contact all the time.

All the women missed him a lot, but at most, they could see his puppet moving in the Higher Being Realm. After all, it was merely a puppet.

Still, it was a sign that Vritra was still fine.

Away from them all, Shitless was busy with completely different training.

He finally got to meet his mother too and became even angrier at Divine. She didn’t hit his head at all.

But now he also had siblings, little bald monks.

After meeting his family, his training also started. His golden body was being struck all day by his father until it cracked, then healed by the God’s mana.

He didn’t possess mana and completely depended on his physique, so that was exactly what the Crying Monk was training.

...

Just like that, time passed quickly. Four whole months passed in the blink of an eye.

The world maintained its calm.

Far away from the Higher Being Realm, the gods who had gathered in a hall all looked at one another and nodded.

”It is time. Let’s go.”

At the Sun God’s instruction, they wasted no time and disappeared from their spot.

It was time for those damned prisoners to finally come out of the World Prison.

Although the gods were sure those ten would die after spending six months in that prison, they still went there to check things.

And also in the hope of collecting some things.

Because of those people, even the gods had to spend some time in the prison. It was truly a hellish experience, especially since they had lost some of their mana.

They had barely healed even after months of coming out.

But now it was time to deal with them, that is, if they survived.

”They should be getting out.”

Just as the Book-like God spoke, the entrance of the World Prison opened, and then ten people walked out.

???
