Hearing the Soulless Blood Corpse say this, Gu Xi was rather stunned.

He hadn’t expected there to be such a story behind the Screaming Castle.

If that’s the case, his luck is really quite good, at least he was stopped when he was acting recklessly.

Otherwise, if these things were messed up by him, they would be no more.

Gu Xi glanced at the parts suppressed by the Death Incarnation-Titan and decisively ordered, ”Titan, control them again, don’t let those things move around. That guy, do you have any evidence for what you said?

Do you know, did that so-called Duke of Wailing leave any blueprints or other things when he was researching the Blood Dragon Crown?”

The Soulless Blood Corpse is part of the Blood Dragon Crown ritual.

Although he didn’t know if the previous corpse was willing, he indeed could remember some things.

Regarding Gu Xi’s question, he just paused for a moment and then earnestly said, ”It seems there is a book called the ’Blood Crown Book’, kept in the Great Library. I don’t know if it’s still there.”

Hearing this, Gu Xi immediately turned around and said to those behind him, ”Go find it.”

Under Gu Xi’s order, all the Undead in the Screaming Castle received the command. Even though they didn’t know exactly where the Great Library was in the castle, they all understood one task: to find the book called the ”Blood Crown Book” and bring it back.

After deploying the Undead, Gu Xi looked back at the Soulless Blood Corpse.

”Is this still the Council Hall?”

”Yes, my lord could first restore the Council Hall. The matters with the Blood Dragon Crown can be handled later.”

Only then did Gu Xi walk towards the pool where the throne used to be.

Upon stepping into the pool, Gu Xi discovered that the bottom of the pool had some maps drawn on it.

This was clearly the topographical map of the Screaming Castle.

With a glance, Gu Xi discovered that the Screaming Castle, in its original glory, was nine levels above ground and four levels below.

Although it couldn’t occupy seven different timelines like Yaliduonia does now, it had nineteen large plots, ranging from Blood Mud to various troop training camps for Blood Dragons.

Most importantly, all these troop training camps were related to Vampires, even if what they produced weren’t Vampires, they were blood-tainted.

If it wasn’t for the previous Blood Dragon Crown incident, Gu Xi might have directly activated the Council Hall in front of him.

But now, Gu Xi decided to wait a bit longer.

To see the harvest from other places first.

However, this battle was not without its benefits. The map in front of him was usable, and although many places inside the Screaming Castle had already collapsed, the original locations wouldn’t change.

With the map in hand, it would be much easier for Gu Xi’s troops to attack the Screaming Castle.

While Gu Xi waited for his subordinates to handle the Screaming Castle, he noticed a faint red beam of light following the engraved patterns on the ground towards him.

Gu Xi checked the time and realized this should be the second batch of energy being delivered.

It seems that after the last incident, the amount of energy being sent this time was much greater, and it could even reach here.

This discovery relieved Gu Xi as he was worried about how the Energy Well would operate with all his Undead dispatched.

But now it seems there’s no need to worry excessively. Once activated, the Energy Well can operate autonomously.

However, Gu Xi also had a thought: previously, even without energy, there were still some Barracks functioning inside the Screaming Castle.

With energy now running, would the Barracks in the Screaming Castle quickly produce troops?

While Gu Xi was contemplating this situation, new battle reports began arriving.

Given the map, the remaining visible buildings were quickly found and occupied one by one by Gu Xi’s subordinates.

In these buildings, there were Vampire-aligned Barracks and some structures that had mutated or transformed due to the lack of energy.

For example, the most among these buildings should be the unique Blood Pools of the Vampire cities.

These are somewhat like the residential areas on the human side, or the Graveyards in the Undead City, providing a corresponding population for the city.

However, ever since the Screaming Castle collapsed, the Blood Pools, lacking energy supplements, have mostly been abandoned.

Most of the Blood Pools had no blood left, losing their intended functions.

Only a few Blood Pools underwent mutation after losing energy, transforming into another type of Blood Pool.

[Building Name: Magic Blood Pool

Level: Level 5 (upgradable)

Traits:

Magic Transformation (can absorb floating magic energy and convert it into blood needed by Vampires).

Severely injured Vampires can soak in the Blood Pool to quickly restore life.]

[Building Name: Poisonous Blood Pool

Level: Level 4 (upgradable)

Traits:

The Blood Pool provides 45 units of blood feed per week (contains poison, affecting Vampires’ life but granting toxic effects during attacks to Vampires or other troop types).]

[Building Name: Mysterious Blood Pool

...]

Besides these Blood Pools, there were other similar buildings.

Some of these buildings retained their original effects, while others underwent significant changes.

For instance, Gu Xi saw a medium-sized building that, having lost energy and control, ultimately turned into an uncontrollable Barracks.

[Building Name: Blood-colored Breeding Ground

Level: Level 4 (upgradable)

Traits:

Can provide Level 4 Giant Bats as mounts (Flying Point, providing a large number of mounts).

Due to mutation, the Giant Bats have transformed into combat-oriented troops.]

There were also some buildings originally meant to be Barracks, but due to energy issues, they lost their functionality and turned into ordinary buildings.

Various information is being continuously sent up, informing Gu Xi of the progress as his Undead subordinates fought at the Screaming Castle.

Meanwhile, it seemed Luna in Yalidu City had some free time and contacted Gu Xi directly.

”My lord, Dietrich has returned. Should we order him to go over now?”

Gu Xi checked the time, wasn’t it supposed to take three days to get here?

Why did he appear so quickly now?

Though still puzzled, Gu Xi didn’t delay letting Dietrich come over.

When hearing the news, Gu Xi ordered, ”It’s good that he’s here, let him come over. By the way, did he bring any troops with him?”

”No, he returned alone, and he returned very quickly.”
