What Do You Mean I'm The Captain Of A Yandere Mercenary Company?

Chapter 907: White Stuff

”Err... What?” Was my eloquent response to her sudden confession.

”Hmmm~ I fell in love with you at first sight, so I decided to follow you,” She repeated without missing a beat.

I stared at her for a moment before I finally reacted, ”You can’t fall in love with someone you just met! No wait, I take that back, yes you can. But what about me made you think that way? I’m nothing special!”

She cocked an eyebrow, ”The one last true human in this universe, the one who actually came from another universe... Is telling me she’s nothing special?”

I rolled my eyes, ”You know what I mean. There’s plenty of people who look better and are more attention grabbing than I am.”

Renata suddenly hugged me from behind, ”Daddy is the most attention grabbing one for me though!”

Well... You are also really attention grabbing to me as well, Renata.

Vieretha then tilted her head at me, ”I have been meaning to ask... Why does she call you ’daddy’?”

This time, Renata actually answered her, ”Because Daddy is the one who made me!”

I thought that would make Vieretha even more confused but she surprisingly understood what was going on immediately.

”I see. She basically used your genetic material to be born, correct? That makes sense now. And because of that, she’s imprinted on you. Very interesting.”

She made it sound like it’s a common occurrence or something... And for all I know, it very well could be.

Just as I was about to move on, Vieretha returned the topic back to her confession as she gave me a serious look.

”Now... I understand you still doubt my feelings Tera.”

I scratched my cheek, ”Well... I wouldn’t say I doubt your feelings... It’s more like not understanding it I guess?”

She giggled, ”Fufufu~ Well in that case, allow me to enlighten you, Tera~ I have a very specific taste in my partners and I have not been able to satisfy that for a very long time until now, since you check all the boxes of what I am attracted to~ Of course I did not want to let you go after finally managing to find you after all these years~”

”Ermm... What’s that ’specific taste’ of yours?”

”Fufufufu~ I like the colour white, Tera~ I really, really like the colour white~ Actually, I really love the colour white~”

I blinked at her, recalling that all the clothes she had been wearing so far were also white in colour.

I then lifted up my hand to move some of my hair into my view, ”Do you mean... You saw my hair and... That was enough for you to fall in love with me?”

”Ara? I guess that is somewhat true~ Ufufufu~”

”But if I remember correctly... I wasn’t the only one with white hair during that event though? There were plenty of others who also had white hair. In fact... I remember there were some people with especially bleached skins too, yet you completely ignored them like they weren’t even there.”

”Ufufufu~ Allow me to correct myself, Tera~ I like the colour white and I especially love things that look really good in white~”

She then suddenly climbed on top of the table and reached across to cup my cheek, leaning her face down to only be an inch away from me.

”And you look absolutely perfect in white~ You... Are the most perfect one in white~”

Without warning, she leaned forward and gave me a kiss on the side of my cheek, just barely touching the edge of my lips before she pulled back.

So you’re telling me that she has a colour fetish and I fit that fetish perfectly...

I decided to push her a little, ”Really? You’re going to say all that and then be happy with just a peck on the side of the cheek?”

She looked a little surprised by my words, ”Oh? I thought you might be the type who would want to take things slowly. I did not want to push my limits.”

I reached up and grabbed her wrist, pulling her towards me before kissing her on the lips.

She adapted pretty quickly despite my ’ambush’ on her and she was already kissing me back eagerly.

I heard Renata’s clones leaving the room while the one I was wearing was busy doing her usual shenanigans which I ignored.

We enjoyed each other’s lips for a while before separating, a trail of saliva still bridging in between us.

She licked her lips to break it and gave me a sultry look, ”Mmmm~ Do I have permission to kiss you whenever I want, Tera?”

I smirked, ”Of course. And I’ll be taking what I want from you whenever I want as well.”

She shuddered, ”Ahh... I am looking forward to it. Perhaps after this, my Captain might want to show me my new room?”

I could read in between the lines and knew that was an invitation for something more so I nodded, ”Of course.”

”Mufufufu~ In that case, shall we finish things up here so that we won’t have any... Distractions later?”

I almost thought she wanted to just leave everything here and go there straight away until she slid back into her chair and brought up another screen.

Seems like she’s the type of person who would want to finish her work first before she even considers play.

She then brought up a screen of the other ship that was docked to The Iridescence , ”The Drow of Dawn... I notice that the ship is practically empty and it only has the barest of armaments. Are we planning to sell it? But I see it has been registered to you...”

”Ah... We’re planning to use it to transport our Exo-Knights. We have already purchased personalised Exo-Knights, they’re just in production right now and they’ll be delivered to us once they’re done.”

She tilted her head at me, ”From Crusader Inc.?”

”That’s right. We came to the Inner Colonies for that after all. And also to get a Bio-Weapon license.”

She pushed her screens aside and another one popped up where she started to make a call.

The screen showed that the call was connecting and it rang a few times before the call connected, showing a flustered looking woman on the other side of the screen whose hair was covering most of her face. It looked like she was in the middle of something and had answered the call in a rush.

”Mi... Miss Iceborne!! How can we help you?!”

Hmmm? That voice sounds a little familiar?

”I have an order that I want to be prioritised.”

”O... Of course! Umm... Please let me know what you would like! Are you placing an order for a tenth generation Exo-Knight? To suit you better, I would highly recommend that you come down in pers--”

”The order has already been placed. I just want it to be moved up to the priority and have no expenses spared to make sure it is the best that it can be.”

”A... Ah? Of... Of course, of course! Umm... If I can have the order number, I will personally see to it that it is prioritised!”

”I do not know the number, but a Mercenary Captain named Tera should be the one who made that order.”

There was a pause coming from the other side.

Come on, Vieretha... You can’t expect people to know who you’re talking about just like--

”Te... Tera? The white haired woman with big tits that you just want to shove your face into and legs that you want to spend your entire day rubbing your cheeks on?”

Oh... I see the bunny ears... I didn’t recognise her because of her messy hair but that’s Rosalia.

I wonder if she was having sex with Friederike when the call came which was why she was panicking and putting her clothes back on.

Vieretha narrowed her eyes slightly before shifting her gaze to me.

I waved at her, ”Ah... Are you talking to Rosalia? We met and umm... Yeah, I did them a favour so they’re making our Exo-Knights in return as payment.”

She moved the screen so that Rosalia could see me and the bunny girl quickly pushed her hair aside to gape at me.

”Tera?! Ohmygoshhh!! It’s been so long! Well, not that long, but how have you been?! We missed you! You’re... Oh... You’re with Miss Iceborne... Umm... I’m sorry should I... Umm... Shut up now?”

Vieretha turned her attention back to her, ”You just need to move her order to the top of the priority list.”

”Oh! You don’t need to worry! It was already at the top! There’s no way we would spare anything to give our benefactors anything but the best we can do! We owe her that much after all! These are undoubtedly the best machines we’ve built yet!! And we even made sure to test them according to the new standards too so we’re not cutting any corners anymore!”

That’s good. And it sounds like maybe Anthony is doing well as their test pilot and improved their testing capabilities too.

I wonder how that android is doing after his supposed break up with Theresa?

Also... I’m not even surprised Vieretha knows Rosalia... Small galaxy huh?
