Primordial Villain with a Slave Harem

Chapter 948: What is a Relationship Exactly?

Serika didnt quite know where he was going with this, so she hesitated. But then she decided to entertain him, thinking aloud as she spoke. ”I dont know... I guess... Its when people live together, share responsibilities. Maintain a joint household... Bear and raise children. Grow old by each others side... I dont know. Thats what people say it is.”

Quinlan shook his head slowly as his face formed a grimace. ”That sounds boring, doesnt it?”

”Boring?”

”Yes. Its idyllic, romantic, whatever you want to call it, sure... but boring as fuck as well. Serika, be honest with me.” He gave her a look that was half-challenging, half-playful. ”Do I look like a man who wants his wives to be stay-at-home mothers? Do I want to go to war and have them patiently await my triumphant return from the battlefield?”

Serikas lips instantly twitched into a smirk, a flicker of her natural confidence returning. ”Not at all. Youd want them right there beside you. On the frontlines. Working together to carve out a future worth fighting for.”

A sharp nod came from Quinlan. ”Exactly. But let me be clear. Fighting on the frontline doesnt always mean swinging swords or shedding blood. Jasmine, for example. Once shes free of those chains... shell become a force. Not because shes a killer, but because shes a badass chick with incredible potential in the path shes chosen for herself. Shell fight for our family with her cunning, strategy, and spirit. Shell fight using her strengths. And I love her just as much as I would any epic warrioress with whom I share the battlefield.”

Then, slowly, deliberately, Quinlan stepped forward. His elemental presence exuded warmth and conviction, wrapping around Serika.

”To me, being partners means living through legendary battles side by side and then celebrating afterward with a fervor that suggests the worlds about to end. It means teasing each other during training until one of us snaps. It means steamy baths and passionate massages, and pillow talk under the stars after we just made passionate love to one another.”

Another step. Close enough now for her to feel the simmering promise in the air between them.

”It means knowing youre strong enough to stand alone...” His voice dropped lower, more intimate. ”... but choosing to stand with someone else anyway. Not because you have to. But because you want to.”

Her breath hitched as she blinked, trying to grasp his words.

”I dont need my wives to raise children, Serika. Hell, I dont even know if I want that myself. If you decide you dont ever want that? Fine by me. That just means we have more time for both training, fighting, and pleasure.”

He grinned crookedly.

”If you want to vanish for a week or even months to explore dangerous territories solo because you feel weve been too protective of you and thus limiting your growth, or you just need such an experience? Tell me. Ill open the portal for you myself.”

That earned him a little laugh from the tanned woman.

”And as for growing old... well, lets be honest. That ships probably not docking for either of us. So you dont have to worry about wrinkles or knitting clubs.”

He extended a hand as an offering.

”All this is to say, being lovers doesnt have to be a chain that restrains you, Serika. Its not a cage. Not with me. I want to give you, and all my other lovers, nothing but wings. I want to see all of you soar higher than I ever thought possible. I want to look up at you from below and shout with all my heart, ”Holy shit! My girls are so fucking amazing!””

Quinlans smile lingered as his outstretched hand remained between them, steady and waiting.

”So... what say you, Serika Vael?”

For a moment, all she could do was stare at that hand. The hand that seemed so strong, so open, and offered without expectation. His words reverberated in her mind in the form of an echo she couldnt silence. Not the teasing ones or the confident boaststhough those had certainly made her smirkbut the ones that spoke of wings. Of fire. Of freedom. Ȓ𝔞ℕȪʙĘṢ

Of choice.

Her heart, which had already been pounding, began to beat faster. Louder. Deeper.

She thought about the battles theyd fought, side by side. About how they moved as one. How he never once made her feel lesser or questioned her power, even after becoming stronger as the fully realized Avatar.

She thought about those emotional, heated kisses they shared, and the raw honesty that pulsed through both.

She remembered the water lapping at her thighs in the river where they washed each other. His warm hands on her naked skin. His deep laughter when she one-upped him during training. The thrill. The chaos. The intimacy.

And then she looked into his swirling elemental eyes.

She saw nothing but patient adoration.

No manipulation. No desperation. Just the truth.

Hed said everything he needed to. He wasnt trying to tip the scales in his favor. He wasnt trying to win her.

He wanted her.

He desired her not because she was a prize to be claimed, but because she was Serika Vael. Because she burned just as brightly as he did. And in his unwavering gaze, she somehow knewfelt it in her very bonesthat the answer had always been yes.

Yes, I want to be with him.

Yes, I want more than battle camaraderie.

Yes, I want those kisses again. I want more of them. I want him.

No other man had ever sparked that fire in her two centuries of life. No other man ever would.

With no further thought, no more hesitation, Serika lifted her hand...

... Only to brush his extended arm aside.

Before Quinlan could blink, she exploded forward, fierce and unrelenting, slamming into his chest and pulling him down into their third kiss.

It was fiery. Possessive. Fierce.

Her bronze arms looped around his back, gripping him tight, greedy and unwilling to let go. Her fingers dug into his clothes, demanding closeness. Her lips crashed into his like a woman starved for something that only he alone in the whole universe could provide her with.

Quinlan didnt need to utter any further words.

The look they shared before their eyes fluttered closed said everything.

His fire flared behind his eyes, roaring in tandem with hers. Then he returned the kiss, both arms wrapping around her waist in an iron embrace, as their bodies melted into one another as fire met flame.

And just like that...

Serika Vael, the 9th woman of Quinlan Elysiar, had officially joined his family.

Now...

It was time to celebrate.

Together.

As one unstoppable, beautifully chaotic, and utterly inseparable family.
