Primordial Villain with a Slave Harem

Chapter 755: Black Fang’s Might

”You’ve never begged for help, no matter how much danger you were in

While staring at me with her deep violet eyes, making me feel as if she was gazing right into my very soul, she declared, “You did it for him.”

Vex didn’t answer.

She couldn’t.

Next, Orianna stepped through the portal like a wraith in bloom.

The moment she arrived, the air shifted, becoming strangely floral, but not in a sweet manner. It was something closer to iron roses and wilting petals. She didn’t glance our way. Not once. Not at Vex, not at me.

She just erupted.

Without fanfare, without a word, Orianna raised a single hand and detonated the battlefield with an onslaught of spells. Vines burst free from the ground like vipers, impaling lionkin through the chest and dragging them under. Blossoms of sickly color bloomed into explosive spores mid-air, catching sword-wielders who were rushing at her off-guard. She conjured brambles of glassy thorns and blades of pollen-dense wind, and a massacre followed.

As chaos bloomed around us, Black Fang moved again.

Her gaze, which had lingered on me in silent observation, returned to the battlefield with absolute composure.

She reached for her weapon, which was a sleek, black katana with an oriental curvature. At the base of the blade’s hilt was a small, serpent-shaped sigil. She pressed two fingers against it, then slowly slid them along the flat side of the metal, tracing it from hilt to tip in one smooth motion. As she did, a sheen of dark purple spread in her fingers’ wake, greatly resembling the color of her eyes.

Venom.

Her lips parted again, this time to whisper a spell. Glyphs in the shape of serpents wound around her wrist and spiraled up the katana’s blade, glowing with a noxious purple that made the venom hiss as it reacted.

However, the purple poison didn’t spill all over the place. No. That would’ve been beneath the woman called Black Fang. Instead, the substance was perfectly preserved within the blade, only to be released when she struck her enemies.

Then, she raised the blade to the sky.

“[Fangs of the Tempest].”

With a fluid chant, the clouds above churned violently, cracking apart like broken scales. From the storm of black and violet light, serpents emerged—massive and coiling, their eyes glowing with primal hunger. Their bodies were clad in scales as black as pitch, streaked with violet lightning as they crashed down onto the field and instantly began roaring with unadulterated aggression.

The ground trembled as one of the serpents lunged and devoured a lionkin whole. Another slammed into the ranks from above, using its massive size to turn bodies of elite lionkin generals into paste like a giant’s hammer.

All of this happened while Vex was still shaking in my arms, still shielding me with her dying body. She spat a mouthful of blood for the upteenth time as she weakly but proudly giggled, “Hehehe… Hubby, take a good look at my master… Lady Black Fang is one of the few living people to hold Legendary-rarity classes. There’s a good reason her name alone is enough to make even famous warlords tremble with fear.”

I didn’t even have time to rejoice at the fact that she forgot to call me her future hubby, dropping the “future” entirely from my title.

Because the amount of blood she was losing had me deathly worried.

”Stay with me,” I muttered, shoving one hand into my pocket ring for a health potion. I pulled out one and popped the cork. Vex was barely conscious with her weight slumped in my lap, but her eyes fluttered open when the scent of the potion hit her nose. ℟ἁΝоʙƐṢ

”Nooo… tastes so bitter she whined in her delirious state of mind. She whimpered as I brought it to her lips. “Hubby, can’t I-”

”No. Drink it, Wifey.”

”Wife? Ehehehe!”

She let a silly giggle escape her lips once again before pouting with a tiny, breathy whine, but then did as told, forcing down mouthful after mouthful until the bottle was empty. Some color returned to her cheeks, and her breathing, though still shallow, began to even out.

Next, I uncorked a second bottle and poured its contents over her mangled back and thigh, where the injuries from the lionkin attacks had nearly ripped her open. The potion hissed against torn flesh, bubbling as it worked its partial miracle. It wouldn’t be enough. These wounds needed a real healer. But at the very least, her bleeding slowed, and the shaking dulled.

Her head rested on my shoulder as I pulled her closer, and I could feel her lips curl into a mischievous smirk as she nuzzled her head against my neck. “Hubby… Am I going to die?”

”Not while I’m still breathing.”

”So cool!”

I chuckled while shaking my head, this woman who used to make me fear for my and my girls’ lives with her mere presence was acting like a bad drunk right now.

But beyond our small moment, chaos reigned.

Orianna moved like the wind through a garden of death. Flowers burst from the ground in rapid succession: razor-edged vines, thorned roots, and carnivorous blossoms with gaping maws that devoured lionkin who didn’t react instantly.

Still, the lionkin elite weren’t pushovers. Even with her overwhelming magic, they fought through the floral onslaught, shrugging off attacks that would have torn through normal combatants with ease.

The armored brutes pushed forward, numbers tightening, forcing Orianna to redirect her summons and work together with Black Fang’s summoned serpent monsters to keep the enemies at bay. As pools of blood began running like rivers across the battlefield, her breath started coming sharper and sharper with each new cast.

But I understood her strategy. Orianna wasn’t trying to win. She was trying to clear the field, to keep the lionkin elites occupied.

So that her master could focus.

And Black Fang… gods.

She was terrifying. Hell, the word terrifying didn’t do this woman justice.

She didn’t advance on Sunfang… she descended, moving like the personification of aggression. No defense, no hesitation, just pure, perfect, merciless offense. Her footwork was surgical. Every step brought her closer toward achieving victory. And when she struck, it was as if the air itself cleaved apart.

Leohtar, the infamous Sunfang, general of the Lionkin’s army, killer of kings, subjugator of the beastkin, tried to counter. His weapon shone with golden flame as he swung in a wide arc meant to cleave her clean in half. But before the strike could even finish, he was already retreating because her katana’s purple blade had nearly reached his neck.

Every time he prepared an attack, he found himself forced to defend instead. A swing, and she was already inside his guard. A kick, and her poison-drenched blade sliced toward his thigh, nearly reaching the muscle. He let out a mighty, deafening roar that made both Vex and me flinch out of instinct, but her expression didn’t even twitch.

Black Fang fought like a woman who had never once considered the possibility of defending.

And she wasn’t wrong.

Sunfang was powerful. His strikes split the ground, his aura radiated enough heat to burn grass into ash. But Black Fang danced around him as if the world moved in slow motion. Her every motion was decisive, practiced, lethal.

”Accursed weakling!” the large lionkin screamed with rage coursing through his very veins. “I should’ve killed that damned pest! First he summons damned ethereal soldiers and now these two bitches?!”

Black Fang didn’t react.

Not to the insult.

Not to the rage.

She kept her onslaught up in complete silence with her eyes locked onto her enemy.

However, the Sunfang wasn’t a pushover either. He brought his massive axe down on her, but she sidestepped it with extreme athletic grace. Even while she was mid-dodge, her katana was already responding, becoming nothing but a blur as it slashed toward his ribs. He blocked—barely—with his greataxe catching the blade just in time.

The impact cratered the ground beneath them.

The air boomed with each clash as they traded blows, neither backing down. Leohtar fought like a lion, vicious and unrelenting, each strike a thunderous explosion of muscle and rage. He forced her back with brute force alone, pressing the advantage, twisting his axe into wide, vicious arcs meant to cleave through flesh and bone.

But Black Fang moved like a blade in the wind. Her feet never stumbled. Her balance never faltered. She redirected the momentum of his swings, turning her small frame into a ghost weaving through the very storm itself.

And then, he roared.

“[PRIMAL SUN-FORGE BEAST]!”

He stabbed his axe into the ground. With a loud blast, the earth cracked open. From the fissure rose a spectral lion formed from lava. It oozed from the creature in large quantities, ruining the city’s infrastructure in its vicinity.

The summon’s focus instantly locked onto Black Fang.

Not wasting a single moment, it closed the distance with a thunderous dash, molten claws arcing down toward her. As they fell, the pressure in the air changed, and lava splintered outward in a shotgun blast of flaming shrapnel, designed not just to kill but to corner.

Leohtar, at the same time, raised his hands toward the heavens and roared, “[Solar Ascendance: King of Beasts]!”

Golden light spiraled above him, forming magical rings that rose high into the sky. His muscles swelled, becoming an entity that entirely lost its humanoid characteristics, transforming into a true monster. Power—true, ancient, lionkin heritage power—gathered into his body.

But neither beast nor master had accounted for the sheer recklessness of Black Fang’s aggressive style.

Just as the molten claws struck down on her, the woman slipped beneath them. She did not dodge back toward safety where the lava wouldn’t reach, but forward, becoming a black streak of light as she erupted toward her target. The lava burst landed behind her, missing by less than a fraction of an inch.

The molten lion twisted its body, reacting with a swipe meant to split her in half, but it was just one step too slow.

Leohtar cursed under his breath.

He stopped casting his second-self buffing spell, forced to let it shatter. His monstrous form, no longer needing a weapon, used its body to swipe at her with such speed and strength that I simply couldn’t believe my eyes.

But just like his summon…

He was one step too slow.
