The Lovely Heiress Is Actually A God Beast

Chapter 1030: Chapter 1030: Little Taotie Contemplates the Plot

Xiao Lingzhi let out a breath: “I hope it’s her, but I also hope it’s not her.”

Little Jinzi hung his head and wiped his eyes: “Why kill the Vigilante Thief? If you don’t want to be a thief anymore, isn’t it okay to just stop being one? Why must he be killed?”

Little Taotie tilted his head and began to think seriously: “She’s protecting her mother and brother, you know. Only by killing the Vigilante Thief can she prove that she’s really lost her memory, so the Imperial Court can trust her and won’t use her mother and brother to threaten her in the future, because she doesn’t even remember her biological father, and she even personally killed him. How would she be threatened by a stranger claiming to be her mother and brother?”

These words earned him astounded looks from his two friends.

Little Jinzi: “You think so deeply. I didn’t even consider that layer!”

Xiao Lingzhi nodded: “That makes a lot of sense. Since she’s already become a person of the Imperial Court, she can’t be wishy-washy anymore. Even if she doesn’t do it, the Imperial Court will send someone else to kill her father. It’s better if she does it herself and completely cuts ties with the past, fully earning the trust of the Imperial Court.”

Little Jinzi frowned: “On the surface it seems worthwhile, but wouldn’t it be very unfilial from a humanitarian standpoint?”

Xiao Lingzhi sighed: “In ancient times, in the war-torn eras, many things were beyond one’s control. If she had had other choices, she would have taken them. Her act of killing the Vigilante Thief just shows that at that time, she had no other options.”

The young lady and the bodyguards stared dazedly at the three Little Cubs.

The Little Cubs were having such a heated discussion!

Young Lady: “Oh my! I never even thought about this!”

Jin Yin: “Is it… really that complex?”

Sheng Nan: “Are we watching the same movie as them?”

Chen Han: “Is there a sequel to this?”

The three Little Cubs were deep in discussion when Xiao Lingzhi suddenly suggested calling the director to ask if their speculation was right.

Yawning, the director took a sip of coffee as the phone rang.

He looked at the caller ID, somewhat surprised.

“Hello, Xiao Lingzhi?”

“It’s me! Director Uncle, Little Taotie, Little Jinzi, and I just finished watching the movie. It’s good, but we have lots of questions we want to ask you!”

“Go ahead and ask.”

“The Female Secret Guard is the Vigilante Thief’s daughter, right?”

“First, tell me your speculations.”

“We think she is.”

“Then that’s right.”

“Director Uncle, you’re so perfunctory!”

“Haha, should I say no? Yes, the Female Secret Guard is the Vigilante Thief’s daughter. Was that earnest enough?”

Xiao Lingzhi let out a satisfied hum: “Little Taotie says she’s feigning amnesia and kills the Vigilante Thief to protect her mother and brother, right?”

On the other end of the line, there’s a long silence.

“Hello? Director Uncle!” Xiao Lingzhi shouted.

The director snapped back to reality and chuckled softly: “You tell Little Taotie that she seems more suited to being a director than an actor.”

“She’s right here beside me!” Xiao Lingzhi handed the phone to Little Taotie.

In a childish voice, Little Taotie told the director on the other end: “I’m not fit to be a director.”

The director was puzzled: “Why do you say that?”

Little Taotie’s childish voice sounded troubled: “If I were directing, I wouldn’t shoot it like this, so I’m not fit to be a director.”

The director became intrigued and pressed further: “If it were you, how would you shoot it?”

Little Taotie tilted his head, thinking for a moment and spoke with a hint of uncertainty in his childish voice: “With the Imperial Court being corrupt, why become a Vigilante Thief? Why not become the Emperor instead?”

“Cough, cough!” The director was sipping coffee and was caught off guard by Little Taotie’s rebellious idea and choked!
