The Lovely Heiress Is Actually A God Beast

Chapter 906: Chapter 906: Vegetative Person Stunt Double

In the photo, the doctor is pushing a wheelchair, and sitting in the wheelchair is the director.

It’s the director who once interviewed Little Taotie, but eventually canceled the shoot and was almost murdered.

Cheng Guodong was surprised, ”Are you his attending doctor?”

The ultimate goal of this matter was to undermine Cheng Guodong’s plan to develop an overseas fruit business. Because of Cheng Guodong, the director got implicated, so after the director fell into a coma and was hospitalized, the medical expenses were all covered by Cheng Guodong.

Cheng Guodong was wholeheartedly committed and informed the hospital’s director that as long as the person was cured, the cost didn’t matter.

Later, the hospital’s director contacted him once, saying that an expert had returned from overseas studies and was ready to give it a try. It seemed this expert was the one in front of him.

Being able to awaken someone, indeed, takes some skill.

Cheng Guodong looked at the person on the bed, a bit hesitant. The person on the bed wasn’t his sister, while his real sister was actually in the resting room inside.

He thought maybe this doctor could awaken his sister and wanted him to check on the real one.

But he also thought it was very risky, who knows if he was a good or bad person.

In the end, he didn’t reveal that the real sister was in another room. Instead, he made way for the doctor to examine the ”sister” on the bed.

The little girl on the bed was the same age as his sister, but she had been a vegetative person for more than a year, transferred from another hospital.

A year had already eroded that family’s hope of waking the child.

Initially, her parents indeed wanted her to wake up soon, but as medical expenses piled up, they became increasingly strained. Earlier this year, her mother got pregnant, and they began to expect the new little life’s birth, gradually replacing the imported medicine for the girl with the cheapest one.

They even privately hinted at the idea of wanting the child to undergo euthanasia.

Originally, Cheng Guodong was strongly against using this child, but Qin Xin didn’t simply exploit her. Perhaps the child would be lucky and get the expert’s treatment, waking miraculously by substituting his sister here.

They gave the parents some money, and they surprisingly agreed.

Actually, it was very risky. If someone truly harmed the unconscious Little Taotie, the stunt double lying here might be in life-threatening danger.

And those parents actually indicated that even without dying from danger, they couldn’t afford the medical expenses, and were adamantly going to have the child undergo euthanasia.

Cheng Guodong took the child to serve as a stunt double, thinking he should also take responsibility for the child. So, he reinstated the import medicine and selected the best ones her parents couldn’t bear to use before.

Cheng Guodong also hoped this doctor would indeed be useful, maybe able to treat this poor child who had already been in a coma for a year.

The doctor pushed the medical cart forward and began examining the girl.

...

Hua Jinyan had already arrived at the ward door with a backpack on his back, hidden inside was a small doll.

The small doll peeked out from the unzipped section of the backpack, seeing a doctor in a white coat examining the person on the bed.

The person on the bed had their eyes closed, their face pale, looking very much like itself.

But being Little Taotie himself, he could still tell that the overly pale person wasn’t actually him!

In fact, pretending to be Little Taotie was very difficult, no matter how skilled the makeup artist was, it was hard to achieve.

Because Little Taotie’s eyes were too beautiful, something makeup simply couldn’t replicate.
