Re-Birth Of A Genius. Creator/Destroyer

Chapter 2607 - 12 minutes

Western camp of the alliance.

Near the Hastin Village.

The camp is quiet. To the point it didn’t look like a military camp at all. Some people are training, some are meditating, some are cultivating.

But a lot of people are just chilling, grinding their teeth.

The camp’s leader among them all is the most frustrated. The incompetence of the alliance, to fight against a single faction is frustrating to say the least.

He wanted to clash with Hastin warriors, he wanted to shed blood in this war, but he couldn’t.

He even shaved his head as a vow. To fight and die in this battle if he must. Now his sword is just resting in its sheath. He cannot move, cannot fight, cannot even look at the Hastin village in a wrong way.

Just a few bone snakes and their whole battle strategy went on hold.

Even Shimmy couldn’t reverse the situation. He felt so incompetent. So useless. Like never before in his life.

His cultivation level, training for decades until he reached Consummate stage... he wanted to put it to a test.

”Is the war going to end even before it starts?”

He wondered out loud and at that exact moment, he sensed spatial fluctuations in the middle of he camp.

A couple is getting it on in their tent, without a care for anyone. The loud noise of their lovemaking spread through half the camp.

And they were so passionate, their senses are completely out of commission. The man, suddenly felt a gentle hand run across his chin and neck. It was very sensual. But then he realized, the woman’s hands are both holding him...

He opened his eyes in shock. Then he saw the same woman, but in the shadow form. She gripped his throat and squeezed it until all the life left him. Dude left his life, moaning in pleasure.

Same for the woman...

*BOOM*

With a loud explosion, the shadows spread around. The leader of the camp arrived. He moved right after he sensed the spatial fluctuations. It was an immediate response.

But he was still slow.

He witnessed it though. The quiet appearance of a bunch of shadows, and a silent explosion that tore through the ground under the tent.

The beast shadow, the shadows that were once in Shimmy’s camp, everything was transported here. And of course, the new shadows appeared as well.

The explosions didn’t continue. The shadow patch didn’t expand. But the existing shadows are enough to cause chaos.

The fight broke out. The camp is full of experienced warriors, so of course they are even excited for the battle. But what they didn’t expect is what happened next...

*BOOM* *BOOM* *BOOM*

Several beasts appeared out of thin air. A couple of dozen to be exact, all of them in transcendent level cultivation. They swarmed the camp.

Of course, it wasn’t much of a challenge. They cut them up neatly. But the real problem appeared after that. The devices exploded, and created shadow patches.

This time however, they didn’t just disappear. The shadow patches stayed there, brought the beast’s shadow out, along with all the shadows of the warriors within the range and created more chaos.

The western camp that was so calm for so long, completely turned into a hell hole.

The more creatures they killed, the more shadows they subdued, the more they came. The leader of the camp who was so full of himself just a few minutes ago, thinking about how his prowess is being wasted, felt like crawling back into his mother’s womb.

All the soldiers that grew up with him and fought along with him... are now dying in vain.

The consummate stage cultivators did make their move. And they are the only ones who are able to react quick enough to not get stuck in the shadow patches. If they did... there is no chance for this camp.

So, he tried his best to make sure that doesn’t happen.

They even had half a mind to retreat.

But the transcendent cultivators are unable to fight back. They are not strong enough. So, the consummate cultivators cut down the shadows and controlled the chaos.

Sam looked at the whole situation unfold from the camp and smiled.

”Fucking rookies.”

With a single thought, something changed.

The leader of the western camp, suddenly felt threatened.

Four spatial fluctuations, surrounded him. He wanted to make a move and escape. But the new spot that he appeared at... opened up with a shadow patch. He was caught.

A shadow appeared quickly and surrounded him. Unlike the previous patches, this one didn’t start disappearing gradually.

Instead, it rapidly closed itself. It was very similar to the shadow portals Sam used when he was attacking Saxon territory.

The Consummate stage shadow rampaged. The western camp, is no longer in a salvageable state.

The forces scattered and retreated.

Sam made some calculations... the beasts used to trigger this portal chaos...they are not even one tenth of all the beasts he made the troops tag for him.

He still has a lot of arsenal. And the western camp is demolished.

Shimmy got the news and so did the rest of the camps and forces within the alliance.

Shimmy collapsed to his knees and looked at the sky.

”How long has it been?” He asked the artisans who are still standing around him.

”What do you mean, sir?”

”How long has it been since you killed that beast?”

”12 minutes, sir.”

”Twelve minutes and one of the camps is gone. The western camp just disappeared.”

He broke into laughter. A crazy one at that.

”Twelve minutes. He didn’t even have to do the heavy lifting. Our soldiers took his devices, they put them on the beasts.

Our curiosity made us kill one and with just one kill, we destroyed the whole camp.

Who does something like that?

Who the fuck does something like that?

Huh?”

Shimmy lost himself thinking about this. His mind is going nuts and the laughter slowly transformed into a dangerous glint.
