Re-Birth Of A Genius. Creator/Destroyer

Chapter 2506: Capture

The meeting was over.

Bloody Chariot and Heron conducted a ritual to Zeus, who would be representing the gods to make them change the rules.

And Zeus had only a few words to give them.

”I am more and more disappointed in my followers with every passing day. The Zeus academy was supposed to be the place for the pinnacle of my followers, but you were bested by a mere kid. I am ashamed.

If you don’t get the victory and slaughter him... I would rather have you dead there.”

That very night, they got the change the rules, Bloody Chariot gave a particular command.

”Bring back the Death Soldiers from the Battlefield of Gods. Impose the suppression on them. And save for the three elders that need to run the healing rooms, the pill and potion making halls and whatever’s left of the weapon hall, everyone else is going in there. Don’t bother with other academies, we will take the complete action.

Since they dared us to catch them. Let’s do it ourselves.”

Heron was shocked. He was stuck on the words, the Death soldiers.

”Are you sure you want to bring them? Death soldiers... every academy has them, but their use has always been prohibited. So, we never admitted their presence in our ranks. Now...”

”Heron, right now, I am fresh out of fucks to give. So, until Zeus appears in the sky and drops me a couple... I don’t have any to give.

So, shut the fuck up and call them.”

Heron gulped nervously and followed the orders.

By the next morning, the death soldiers they needed, came. They all wore dark cloaks. Their faces covered in masks. They looked dirty, ragged, lethal and most importantly ghostly.

There were eighty four of them.

”You will be divided into three groups. The three groups will be sent to three different worlds. Your target is to just capture the respective targets you are assigned.

Your cultivation will be suppressed as you enter the world, you need to do the mission as you are instructed.

The expectations on you are very clear. The elders, including me will be out there, providing the support. We will be in charge of the formations, or any other technical obstacle. But you would be leading the fight with no barriers or blockers and bring them back alive. No matter what.

Do you understand?”

They all nodded their heads. There was no audible response.

The preparations were done. The Deans of the other academies awaited patiently as they saw Bloody Chariot move with the Death soldiers.

In any other situation, they would have blown their tops off for using the Deaths soldiers within the academy realm. But not now.

They just wanted to capture the three guys. And even then, they were happy for the Zeus academy to do it. They weren’t competing for hostages, to get their claws on Sam as well...

The situation is like that.

Sam basically accomplished one thing that couldn’t be done since the origin of the academy realm... that was to unite all the academies under one cause.

He accomplished the impossible.

The elders made the preparations and they left. Three teams consisting of the Death soldiers and the elders of the Zeus academy, went to the three worlds to capture three second graders.

...

An hour later.

Bloody Chariot who was leading the first team towards Watt’s location arrived at the base with his members.

And the scene in front of his eyes shocked him to the core.

The base was unlike what he had seen in the video. It was completely covered with the death energy. Every living thing in that area seemed to have changed completely.

Usually, when death energy runs so rampant in the area, the smaller living things like grass and small vegetation that didn’t have enough spiritual energy would just wither and die, leaving the land bare.

But here, they seemed to have turned into undead vegetation.

Which was a phenomenon only seen in the cases of trees with unusual amount of spiritual energy to the point they got sentience.

But here even the blade of grass some herbivorous spiritual beasts will despise actually turned undead.

Bloody Chariot went into a trance for a second looking at that large greyed and blacked patch in the middle of the grassy plain, thinking how it was even possible.

But of course, he couldn’t waste time. So, he went in there with the ground. Surprisingly there was no barrier. Still, there were soul undead, shadow undead, a few actual undead bodies and most important of all, the bird puppets, attacking them from all sides.

The battle began.

These elders were worthy of their reputation of being experienced.

They had a much better response compared to the mercenaries.

The death soldiers took the lead and soon they made their way to the broken down base building. And in the middle of it all, they saw Watt standing there...

He didn’t have an expression on his face as if he had become completely frozen. His hands were on the core of the formation. And he was manipulating the whole formation to make the attacks possible. At least, that’s what the elders thought it was from what they could see.

”Death soldiers, get ready. I will break the formation open and you capture him.”

Bloody Chariot and a couple of other elders started tinkering with the barrier carefully. They had enough of Sam’s tech kicking their ass, they were extremely careful.

They didn’t dare do anything rashly.

And surprisingly for the elders, their decision was right. With proper tinkering they were able to unlock it, pretty quickly.

The death soldiers immediately made their move and the first thing they did was.... Unlock their suppression.

They threw the suppression out of window and ran at Watt who just stood there frozen.

The suppression once gone, so was their protection. The laws of the world put extreme pressure on their bodies and they couldn’t even control their spiritual energy. Their bodies started collapse. But that small window was enough to completely overwhelm and suppress Watt who was just there...

And they did.
