Re-Birth Of A Genius. Creator/Destroyer

Chapter 2332: Versus the Undead *BOOM* *BAM* *BOOM*

The sounds of explosions and gun shots rang throughout the arena.

No matter what kind of undead they are, and no matter how fast they came, Sam just shot them down. He did expend some of his own energy in doing so. But it is negligible. In fact, his general recovery speed is enough to fill in the gap in just a few minutes.

The opponent slowly started feeling the pressure.

Until now, his go to strategy has always been overwhelming the opponents with the undead creatures. He whole heartedly believed in his art of necromancy and making the enemy surrender in front of his undead might.

For that reason, ever since he was a kid, he spent most of his time in battlefields and remote areas, where dangers lurk.

He killed, collected the dead, studied them, understood them, moulded them. He worked so hard and they are all falling down as Sam used what looked like a toy more than a weapon to destroy them. He felt his world view shatter.

Sam didnʼt show one bit of mercy.

He attacked and attacked, relentlessly the moment an undead appeared, he just destroyed them.

After some time, the opponent realized that his inscribed undead are of no use, so he changed his strategy. A bunch of non-inscribed, plain undead came out. They are minimally modified. *BAM**BAM*

Sam shot his two bullets on them. They pierced through the undead, but it still came at him. Watching this scene, the opponent seemed to have gained some confidence, he increased the number. In an instant, more than two dozen undead surrounded Sam. Charging at him. *SWOOSH*

He dodged one and shot. *BOOM*

He just switched to the explosive bullets.

Even if they canʼt destroy the undead completely, it is enough to make them immobile. For example, a flying wyvern type undead came at him, of course, flying. He shot one of its wings and it fell off balance.

It crashed towards another undead that was just about to come up.

Sam them aimed another bullet on its back. To be precise, on its nape, exactly where the body is connected with its head.

One bullet, one explosion and it is done. The head was separated.

Even if that head is still a sentient undead creature, without the body, what is going to do? Chomp on the air and climb up to Sam?

Just the method changed slightly, not Samʼs domination.

The audience are looking at the whole scene in awe.

The sheer number of undead creatures are already surprising. They are not a small amount by any means.

They are dozens that already came and got destroyed. There is no sign of stopping them. Even more surprising is the way Sam dealt with it. In his first fight in the tournament he did use the bullets a fair amount, but at that time mostly his precision and accuracy were highlighted.

However, now they saw his speed along with the other qualities. And they also understood that he is nowhere near consuming his energy, contrary to his opponent who is already sweating and stressing out.

No matter how big his reserves are and how many modifications he might have done to the undead creatures, there is no way his consumption of energy is small. He must be feeling the pinch.

And their thoughts were right.

The opponent is indeed feeling the pinch at the moment and it is not a slight one. He is already one-third done. Never has ever felt that he would be lacking in energy when he dealt with an opponent of the same level.

Much less someone like Sam who is a couple of levels behind.

He gritted his teeth and decided to change the tactics. He thought that he would be able to finish this with numbers alone, but it doesnʼt seem possible. He took a different approach.

He took out a few space jades and threw them on to the ground off the stage. They fell around the stage completely circling it. *RUMBLE*

Huge amounts of death energy speed out of them as the undead creatures swarmed out. All of them are giants of different kinds. Sam could feel the residual elemental energy on them and of course he can distinguish them based on their features.

These giants surrounded the stage forming rows on all sides.

Sam stayed silent and stood there.

The opponent aimed his hand to the sky and summoned more creatures.

Flying type undead. Birds, Wyverns, Bats, etc.

They are all of different elements and different sizes. Their strengths are also completely different.

All of these charged at Sam as if they are flying to their death. At least previously, the undead were moved with a bit of tact. Now, they are not. They are just bombarding him.

Sam kept on shooting them down.

The Giants around the stage didnʼt move and Sam didnʼt focus on them. In fact, he would have to increase his speed, if he really wants to focus on them. The flying beasts are just rushing at him.

Meanwhile.

A tree came out of the middle of the stage. It is black all over. The roots, trunk, the branches and the leaves. All of them are black and it oozed death energy. The undead bodies that are on the ones that Sam destroyed, all of them started seeping into the the stage and the ground.

The tree grew taller, wider and dozens of vines came out of its branches. *ZOOM*

A formation has been formed. With the giants as the ground nodes, the tree as the core node and the flying puppets as the moving nodes.

The huge dome covered them, including Sam.

This is an entrapment formation. This was created for ambush purposes. To catch enemies by surprise.

He had figured out various sets for different purposes. This shouldnʼt have been used like he is using it now. It is just that he couldnʼt find a better alternative in all of his strategies.

Only now did he see a glaring hole in his usual tactics. If someone can destroy his undead in one shot each, then they he cannot win, no matter how many undead he can throw at them. Because in the fight he has already seen so many methods Sam could have used to take him down. But Sam did not. He just wanted to show off and he is doing that. If he wanted to kill... he doesnʼt have the confidence that he would have survived.

So, he went with the best method he could think of at the moment.

Once the formation is created, he made a move.

The inscriptions on all the undead started glowing. The flying undead got into a battle formation of their own, while still connected to the formation. They surrounded Sam with him in the center and they are circling him. *SWOOSH*

One of the undeads came at him. *BAM*

Sam shot it down and before it could even fall, two more undead came, one from the front and the other from the rear. *BAM* *BAM*

He managed to shoot them down too, but now there are four of them.

When he was about to shoot them down, he sensed the threat of the giants below. They took out some spears out of thin air. The spears inscribed with what he guessed is a curse. The spears were all thrown at the same time. *SWOOSH* *SWOOSH*

Dozens of spears thrown at Sam, he shot down some of them and dodged a few more, even used the undead as meat shields. But the undead were not effected by the spears, as they attacked them.

Meanwhile, the corpses that fell on the stage are disappearing into the ground and the tree vines seemed to have grown longer.

Sam dodged and shot one of the undead.

However, this time a barrier appeared in front of it. *BAM*

As the undead charged at him, the barrier also moved along with it crashing into Sam.

He didnʼt expect that. *SWOOSH*

When he fell down from the air, the flying beasts swarmed him.

Samʼs fusion activated mid-air, just with the swing of his arms, he cut through the undead that came at him, before he stabilized himself. *BAM* *BAM* *BAM*

He shot at a rapid pace. As fast as he could shoot and cleared himself some space before he stood in the air.

He noticed that the space might have been cleared, but the undead are not destroyed. The barriers around them activated instantly.

Sam didnʼt even have a change of expression. With a thought he made a change to the guns.

Some mechanisms have been changed inside and then he jot again. *ZOOM*

Instead of bullets, energy beams came out. Beams purely made out of the condensed energy. It is also light elemental energy, so they are basically high powered lasers.

The barriers are activated. But when the continuous beam channeled on it for more than one and a half second, it cracked open, revealing a small hole, which was enough to destroy the undead hiding beneath that shield.
