Bride of Retribution: Aloof Billionaire's Dominant Game

King’s knife was much longer than Atlas Hallow’s. As it sliced through the air, it also ripped through Atlas Hallow’s shirt. The black shirt burst open, revealing deep bronze skin, with a long bloody gash that was extraordinarily glaring.

Chloe Baird immediately tried to leap onto the boxing ring, but the man beside her held her down: ”That’s his daughter; if anyone is going to die, it’s going to be him, not you.”

King’s skill was not easily overwhelmed, every move vicious beyond compare.

When he saw the blood on the knife’s edge, he extended his tongue to lick it, with a ferocious grin on his face, and came slashing again.

Atlas did not dodge. His eyes flickered briefly, and just as the blade was about to pierce him, he sidestepped and grabbed King’s wrist, then twisted it back. The strong wrist bone seemed to snap, forming a terrible obtuse angle, and the long military knife plunged into King’s own ribcage.

It won’t kill, but it will hurt like hell...

Atlas sneered, his eyes emitting a chilling cold, his tightly pressed thin lips oozing with a bloodcurdling taste, as he twisted King’s wrist again, driving the sharp knife deeper. As it rotated, it severed all the muscle tissue around the wound, turning King’s face a ghastly pale.

In his other hand, he held the short knife, and before King could even scream, he viciously stabbed into King’s knee cartilage, enjoying the feeling of rendering him unable to flee.

As the blood spurted out, Chloe Baird stepped back a bit, not liking the blood getting on her. Watching the red spread, she heard low groans in her ear.

”And you said he was so formidable, taken down just like that?” she complained a bit, expecting a grand spectacle. It was intense, but just too short, ending in less than three rounds.

”It’s not that King wasn’t formidable; it’s that Atlas Hallow’s skills are exceptional,” Oliver Baird said seriously. Stable, accurate, ruthless—Atlas has it all.

”Quick, tell me, where is my daughter?” he demanded, holding a knife in each hand, one long and one short. With just a twist of his hand, that terrifying wail would spill from King’s mouth.

Jason had just searched the entire bar, and she wasn’t here.

”I’ve already sent her away. Go find her in heaven...” King said with a pale face, laughing sinisterly, as if nothing mattered. It was just pain. As long as that little girl hadn’t returned to Atlas Hallow’s hands, surely he wouldn’t dare kill him, right?

”Playing games with me?” Atlas’s eyes turned bloodshot as if driven insane. His big hand drove the entire short knife in and let go, the knife puncturing through King’s entire knee, with the handle and the tip left outside, while the whole blade was buried in King’s knee.

The blood didn’t flow quickly, it seeped out little by little, into the soil, then disappeared...

Oliver Baird noticed the black van parked at the street corner move and then start reversing rapidly, backing towards the intersection of District Four.

Atlas Hallow noticed too. He released King, his whole body like a black flash darting off the boxing ring, flying out with insane speed, wildly chasing that black van.

King had long planned it. The hostage was in the car, ready to drive off at any moment. The blocked second floor of the bar was just a diversion.

He should have predicted it. Damn it...
