Gender-swapped Beautiful Girl, the Godly Rich System Takes Me to New Heights!

252: Travel to Sawadika’s country to attend Su Qing and Su Ya’s brother’s wedding.Su Qing explained with a smile, ”Yes, Miss Lei. Our mother is from Dragon Country, and our father is from Thailand. So we’ve been bilingual since we were kids.”

”We also went to university in Dragon Country. After graduating, we stayed here to work for several years and lived at our maternal grandmother’s house.” Su Ya nodded and added from the side, ”That’s right, that’s why our Dragon Country language is so good and why we’re so familiar with the country.”

So that was it.

Lei Jun suddenly understood.

With Dragon Country blood and having lived there for a long time, it was no wonder they were so down-to-earth in every aspect, without any of the usual sense of alienation one gets from foreigners.

This explanation was very reasonable.

”This is a happy occasion, of course you should go back,” Lei Jun said readily. ”How much time off do you need? Is ten days enough?”

She figured that attending the wedding, plus the travel time and possibly staying home for a few extra days, ten days should be quite sufficient.

Su Qing and Su Ya glanced at each other, both seeing surprise and gratitude in the other’s eyes.

A ten-day leave for positions like theirs was a very generous offer from Lei Jun.

”It’s enough! More than enough!” Su Qing said quickly. ”Thank you, Miss Lei!”

”Thank you so much, Miss Lei!” Su Ya also happily pressed her palms together in a respectful gesture.

Lei Jun waved her hand, indicating there was no need for formalities.

Just then, the system notification sound rang in her mind.

【godly tycoon mission: Travel to Thailand to attend the wedding of Su Qing and Su Ya’s brother. Mission Reward: 2000 godly tycoon coins.】

A new mission?

Lei Jun raised an eyebrow slightly.

Go to Thailand for a wedding?

The reward was 2000 godly tycoon coins, which was decent.

The mission itself wasn’t difficult; it was just a matter of making the trip.

She began to think quickly.

Going to Thailand... She truly hadn’t been abroad yet, so it wouldn’t be bad to go out and see the world.

Thailand was a famous tourist destination with unique local customs; it would definitely be worth a visit.

More importantly, she had just recently won over the King of Thailand.

Although his loyalty had been confirmed over the phone, she hadn’t seen him in person after all.

On this trip to Thailand, perhaps she could find a suitable opportunity to meet this King subordinate?

Confirming the situation with her own eyes and seeing his status in reality would give her a more intuitive sense of this subordinate’s weight.

Of course, this matter had to be handled with extreme caution. She absolutely could not expose her true relationship with the King, or it would cause a massive uproar.

Thinking up to this point, Lei Jun had already made a decision.

She looked toward the sisters, Su Qing and Su Ya.

”Speaking of which, I’ve never been to Thailand. I’d like to take this opportunity to go see it and attend your brother’s wedding to share in the joy. Would you welcome me?”

”Ah?” Su Qing and Su Ya were both stunned, and then their faces broke out into immense joy. They shouted almost in unison, ”Welcome! Of course you’re welcome! Very, very welcome!”

Su Qing was so excited her face turned red. ”Miss Lei, are you really willing to come? That’s... that’s truly an honor for our family!”

Su Ya even pressed her hands together in the Thailand etiquette and said repeatedly, ”Sawadika! Welcome! We will definitely host you well!”

Seeing their sincere joy, Lei Jun also smiled. ”Then it’s settled. Lei Ying and I will go with you. When do you plan to depart?”

Su Qing calmed her emotions and said quickly, ”The wedding is early next month. We plan to go back a few days early to help the family prepare. Maybe... is departing the day after tomorrow okay?”

”That works,” Lei Jun nodded. ”Go ahead and book the flight tickets. Add mine and Lei Ying’s information as well. Book first class for all of us.”

She made the arrangements habitually.

”No, no, no, Miss Lei, we can book the tickets ourselves,” Su Qing waved her hands hurriedly.

”Yes, how could we let you spend your money?” Su Ya echoed.

Lei Jun’s tone brooked no argument. ”Just treat it as an employee benefit, or a small congratulatory gift from me to your family. Don’t refuse.”

The sisters knew Lei Jun was a woman of her word and understood this was her kindness. Their hearts were even more moved, and they could only thank her repeatedly and accept the generous gift.

After things were settled, Su Qing and Su Ya busied themselves with booking the tickets and notifying their family of this incredible news.

Not only were they returning, but even their extremely distinguished employer was coming to attend the wedding. For their family, this was undoubtedly a supreme honor.

Lei Jun and Lei Ying began to simply pack their luggage for Thailand.

Lei Jun didn’t need to worry about the climate of Thailand, the clothes needed, or essential items; Lei Ying and Su Ya would naturally prepare those properly.

Lei Jun only thought about the documents and bank cards she might need.

She helped Su Qing and Su Ya organize the gifts and items they were taking home, and before she knew it, it was evening.

After washing up, Lei Jun came to the living room wearing comfortable loungewear. Seeing Su Qing wandering near the kitchen, she spoke casually.

”Su Qing, speaking of which, you’ve been with me for so long and I only just found out you’re from Thailand. I haven’t even tasted authentic Thailand cuisine made by you yet.”

Hearing this, Su Qing’s eyes lit up, and she immediately said, ”Would you like to eat some, Miss Lei? I can make it right now! We still have some ingredients at home, and I’ll go buy some fresh ones!”

Lei Jun had only mentioned it in passing, but seeing her so enthusiastic, she also became interested. ”Alright then. I’ll trouble you for it; let me taste your skills.”

”No trouble at all!” Su Qing’s smile was brilliant. ”Just you wait, I’ll definitely let you taste authentic Thailand flavors!”

She immediately became efficient, quickly checking the stock in the fridge while muttering about the spices and side dishes she needed to supplement, and then she rushed out to a nearby import supermarket to shop.

About an hour later, Su Qing returned fully laden.

The sound of chopping vegetables began in the kitchen, along with the unique and enticing aroma of various spices being stewed together.

The scent was sour and spicy with the richness of coconut milk, as well as the unique fresh notes of lime leaves and lemongrass. It gradually filled the entire living room, whetting the appetite.

Lei Ying sat quietly to the side, her eyes revealing a hint of curiosity toward the unfamiliar food.

Su Ya occasionally explained the origin or characteristics of a certain dish... After a long while, Su Qing finally called everyone to eat.

The dining room lights were bright, and the table was covered with fragrant dishes.

Tom Yum Goong was served in an exquisite bowl, with fresh shrimp, straw mushrooms, and pieces of lemongrass floating on the red soup surface, the sour and spicy steam rising up.

Green Curry Chicken was served on a celadon plate, with thick green curry sauce coating tender chicken and eggplant.

Pad Thai was stir-fried until oily and fragrant, served with lime wedges and crushed peanuts on the side.

There was also a Green Papaya Salad (Som Tam), which looked crisp and refreshing.

Golden-brown Thai Fried Fish Cakes were arranged in a circle.

Finally, there was a dessert: Mango Sticky Rice.
