Gender-swapped Beautiful Girl, the Godly Rich System Takes Me to New Heights!

194: Encountering the Yamaguchi-gumiLei Jun noticed their gazes, but her heart remained untroubled; she just felt slightly annoyed.

She didn’t like being stared at by strangers, especially those who clearly didn’t look like good people.

Lei Ying also noticed; her body tensed instantly, and her hand moved quietly to her waist, ready to act at any moment.

Her core programming was set to protect the young lady’s safety, and she could not overlook any potential threat.

The scarred man watched for a while before standing up with his wine glass and walking straight to Lei Jun’s table.

Knowing that Lei Jun and her companion were from the Dragon Kingdom, he spoke in broken Mandarin: ”Beauty, how about a drink together?”

His eyes were filled with greed; Lei Jun’s silver hair and exquisite appearance were rare in Japan, instantly sparking a desire for possession within him.

He was Sato, a small-time leader of the Yamaguchi-gumi’s Tokyo branch; no one in this area dared to provoke him, and there was usually no woman he wanted that he couldn’t get.

Lei Jun didn’t even look up, her tone cold: ”No need.”

Sato was stunned for a moment, clearly not expecting to be rejected.

Several of his subordinates behind him also surrounded them, each looking fierce and malevolent: ”Brother Sato is giving you face, don’t be ungrateful!”

Lei Ying suddenly stood up, blocking the way in front of Lei Jun, and looked at Sato with icy eyes: ”Scram.” That single word carried an immense sense of pressure, causing the subordinates behind Sato to instinctively take a step back.

Sato’s face darkened; he felt humiliated.

On his own turf, he was actually being ignored like this by a woman: ”Do you know who I am? I’m Sato of the Yamaguchi-gumi! Take these two women away for me. I want to see how they plan to oppose me!”

Several subordinates immediately lunged forward, reaching out to grab Lei Jun.

Lei Ying’s eyes sharpened; she stepped aside to dodge the first person’s hand and raised her hand for a knife-hand strike to the opponent’s neck.

The subordinate let out a muffled groan and collapsed directly to the ground, unconscious.

The second subordinate swung a fist at her; Lei Ying didn’t dodge, instead catching his wrist and giving it a gentle twist. A clear ”crack” of a breaking bone could be heard.

The subordinate crouched on the ground screaming, rolling around in pain.

Seeing this, the remaining subordinates were a bit frightened, but with Sato pushing them from behind, they could only steel themselves and charge.

Lei Ying’s movements were as fast as a black shadow; with punches and kicks, within a few minutes, all the subordinates were lying on the ground wailing, with not a single one able to stand.

Sato watched the scene before him, his eyes wide and the scar on his face twitching.

He hadn’t expected this woman to be such a capable fighter; the men he brought had been with him for years, yet they couldn’t even withstand a single exchange.

But as a leader of the Yamaguchi-gumi, he couldn’t swallow this insult; he pulled a switchblade from his waist and lunged at Lei Ying: ”You bitch, I’ll kill you!”

Lei Ying stood her ground; as the knife neared her, she reached out and grabbed Sato’s wrist, snapping it with force. The switchblade hit the ground with a ”clatter.”

Sato’s face turned deathly pale from the pain, cold sweat pouring down as he kept shouting: ”Let me go, let me go!”

Only then did Lei Jun slowly look up at Sato, her eyes devoid of any warmth: ”Yamaguchi-gumi? Very powerful?”

She stood up, walked over to Sato, and stepped on his wrist.

Sato screamed in agony; his wrist bone was nearly crushed under her foot.

Lei Jun said softly.

”Today is just a lesson. If you dare to bother me again, next time it won’t be as simple as a broken bone.”

Sato looked into Lei Jun’s eyes, and the coldness within them made him shudder from the bottom of his heart; he hurriedly nodded: ”I understand, I won’t dare to do it again, please let me go!”

Lei Ying released her grip, and Sato scrambled to his feet, helped up his subordinates, and fled the izakaya in a pathetic state.

The owner of the izakaya had long since hidden behind the counter in fear; only after Sato and his men left did he tremblingly come out and bow to Lei Jun and Lei Ying.

Lei Jun didn’t say anything, took some money from her wallet, placed it on the table, and turned to leave with Lei Ying.

Back at the hotel, Lei Ying was a bit worried: ”Miss, Sato is a member of the Yamaguchi-gumi; they won’t let this go. Should I deal with them first to avoid future trouble?”

Lei Jun shook her head: ”No need. Although the Yamaguchi-gumi has many people, they’re just a disorganized rabble and won’t be able to cause much trouble. Once the auction ends tomorrow, we’ll return home, and they won’t be able to find us even if they want to. Besides, if they really dare to come, we’ll just teach them another lesson.”

She wasn’t worried at all; never mind that Sato was just a small-time leader, even if core members of the Yamaguchi-gumi came, they would just be seeking their own deaths.

Lei Ying’s strength was evident, and she herself was no pushover; after her physical limits were enhanced, dealing with a few thugs was like child’s play.

”However, we still need to be careful,” Lei Jun added. ”When we go to the auction tomorrow, keep a close eye on the people around us and don’t let them pull any tricks.”

”Don’t worry, Miss, I’ll be watching the whole time.”

Early the next morning, Lei Jun and Lei Ying changed into formal attire; Lei Jun wore a long black dress with her silver hair tied in a low bun, her temperament cold and noble.

Lei Ying wore a black suit and stayed by her side like a capable assistant.

The Tokyo International Art Auction was held in a luxurious convention center, with many reporters and security guards at the entrance.

Lei Jun presented her entry credentials and walked in smoothly.

Many people were already seated in the auction hall, mostly well-dressed wealthy individuals and collectors, as well as some museum representatives.

Lei Jun and Lei Ying found seats near the front; as soon as they sat down, they felt several gazes landing on them.

She scanned the room and saw a few European faces, as well as an old Japanese man, who were likely the competitors Lei Ying had investigated earlier.

The auction soon began; the first items up for bid were modern paintings and jewelry, which Lei Jun had no interest in, so she closed her eyes to rest while only Lei Ying carefully observed the surroundings.

Finally, it was time for the southern song dynasty official kiln celadon string pattern vase. The staff carefully placed the vase on the display stand; the entire body was covered in celadon glaze, warm and moist as jade, with clear and regular string patterns that emitted a soft luster under the lights.

Even someone who knew nothing about antiques could see the preciousness of this item.

The auctioneer introduced: ”This is a southern song dynasty official kiln celadon string pattern vase, in perfect condition and a rare treasure. The starting price is 300 million yen, with each bid increasing by no less than 10 million yen. Now, the auction begins!”

”350 million yen!” Someone immediately raised their paddle.

”380 million yen!”

”400 million yen!” The price rose quickly as several competitors raised their paddles one after another, and the atmosphere grew increasingly tense.

Lei Ying leaned toward Lei Jun’s ear: ”Miss, the ones bidding are the European collector Anderson and the wealthy Japanese businessman Yamamoto; they have both bid on many Dragon Kingdom antiques before.”
