Gender-swapped Beautiful Girl, the Godly Rich System Takes Me to New Heights!

177: How can the leader be negligent? After verifying the reservation information, the staff led them to the changing room next to the equestrian field and handed them two sets of professional riding gear: helmets, riding boots, and gaiters.

”Ms. Lei, Miss Lin, this is the equipment prepared for you. Everything has been freshly sanitized. You can change into them first, and after that, I’ll take you to select your horses.”

After changing, Lei Jun and Lin Xiaoya followed the staff to the stables.

The stables were spacious and clean without any unpleasant odor. Each stall housed a horse with a glossy coat and high spirits. Grooms were gently brushing the horses’ coats.

At that moment, a young man wearing a professional coach’s uniform walked over. He was tall with healthy wheat-colored skin and looked very energetic.

The moment he saw Lei Jun, his eyes went straight, and he couldn’t help but marvel internally, ”My god, she’s way too beautiful!”

Her silver hair was tied into a low ponytail, revealing a full forehead and exquisite features. Her skin was as white as snow, and even in simple riding gear, her cold and noble temperament was hard to hide.

She was more stunning than any female celebrity he had ever seen, looking as if she had stepped right out of a painting.

His name was Chen Feng, and he was the club’s gold-medal coach. Usually, the guests booking him were scheduled half a month in advance.

He had just received notice to coach a guest for a trial session and was a bit reluctant, but now seeing Lei Jun, that reluctance vanished instantly!

If only he could be the coach for this beauty!

Chen Feng’s mind began to wander: if he could teach her to ride, he could interact with her more often, and maybe even get to know her.

She was so beautiful and had such a great aura; she clearly wasn’t an ordinary person. If he could establish a connection with her, there might be more opportunities in the future.

Even if nothing happened, just seeing such a beautiful person every day was a treat.

”Hello, ladies. I am Chen Feng. I will be serving as Miss Lin’s coach today.”

Chen Feng suppressed his wandering thoughts and tried to make his tone sound professional and polite, though his eyes couldn’t help but glance toward Lei Jun from time to time.

He hoped Lei Jun was Miss Lin.

However, he was disappointed when Lei Jun and the other introduced themselves.

He discovered that the silver-haired beauty was actually not Miss Lin!

He felt extremely dejected.

”Sorry to trouble you.”

After the brief exchange, Lei Jun gave a polite nod to the coach.

Then she said to Lin Xiaoya,

”Pick any horse you like. Choose whichever one you want.”

Lin Xiaoya’s eyes widened as she looked at the horses in the stalls, feeling both excited and a bit hesitant.

She had just seen that the horses here weren’t cheap, especially those tall and majestic Thoroughbreds; a single day’s trial fee cost several thousand or even ten thousand.

Sister Lei told her to pick freely, so she clearly didn’t care about the money, but Lin Xiaoya couldn’t be so inconsiderate.

Sister Lei had already taken her to experience so many good things; she couldn’t let her spend money needlessly again.

Even though the boss said to pick whatever she wanted.

No one’s money came from thin air!

One should be content and not greedy.

She walked around the stables and finally selected a brown warmblood horse that looked docile and steady. The staff introduced it as having a gentle temperament, perfect for beginners, and its trial fee was relatively moderate.

”Sister Lei, I’ll just choose this one.”

Lin Xiaoya pointed at the brown horse and said, ”It looks very well-behaved. Since it’s my first time riding, choosing a docile one is just right.”

Lei Jun glanced at the horse, then at Lin Xiaoya, and shook her head helplessly.

She knew Lin Xiaoya was afraid of spending money, which she found a bit funny but also heartening.

This subordinate was indeed honest and not greedy.

”You are my subordinate. When you’re with me, there’s no need to be so polite.”

”Since I am your boss, how can a boss be lax with their people?”

”Choose whichever one you like. Money is not an issue, no need to save it for me.”

She lacked nothing now. Since her subordinate rarely liked something, she naturally wanted her to pick one she was satisfied with.

Besides, this bit of money was nothing to her. Making the people around her happy was more important than anything.

Lin Xiaoya hurriedly waved her hands: ”No need, no need, Sister Lei, this one is already very good!”

In her heart, she actually quite liked that white Thoroughbred—it looked exceptionally beautiful—but she still felt it was too expensive.

Lin Xiaoya shook her head firmly.

”It’s my first time riding, so an average one is fine. Once I’m more skilled later, it won’t be too late to choose a better one.”

Seeing Lin Xiaoya’s firm attitude, Lei Jun didn’t push further and said with a smile, ”Alright, have it your way.”

Chen Feng, watching from the side, felt even more envious.

This Ms. Lei was not only beautiful but also so generous and kind to her friend; she clearly came from a wealthy and well-bred background.

The thought in his mind grew even stronger.

If only he could be her coach—he’d even do it for free!

If Ms. Lei let him be her coach, he would definitely perform well and teach her all his techniques.

He could chat with her more often, learn her preferences, and maybe even become friends.

Given her status, she could surely help him in the future. Even if she couldn’t, being friends with such a beautiful person was a matter of great prestige.

As he thought about it, a smile couldn’t help but appear on Chen Feng’s face, until a staff member reminded him it was time to take Lin Xiaoya to get familiar with the horse. Only then did he snap back to reality and scratch his head sheepishly.

He quickly led Lei Jun and Lin Xiaoya deeper into the stables. Along the way, some horses raised their heads and snorted, while others lowered their heads to munch on fodder.

Lin Xiaoya’s eyes were still glued to the horses. She was both nervous and excited, her steps feeling a bit light. Suddenly remembering something, she turned and tugged on Lei Jun’s arm.

”Sister Lei, which time is this for you riding a horse?”

Lei Jun looked up and scanned a white horse nearby that was swishing its tail, calculating which one to try out later.

The skills of God-tier Horsemanship were stirring within her body. She wanted to find a horse with a bit of a temper to see if she could immediately feel the effect of the ”Mental Link.”

Hearing Lin Xiaoya’s question, she replied casually and truthfully, ”The first time.”

Lin Xiaoya let out an ”Ah,” her eyes instantly widening into circles and her mouth hanging open wide enough to fit a watermelon.

She fully believed Lei Jun wasn’t lying; Sister Lei would never lie to her!

But... but this was way too brave!

The first time riding, and she actually said she didn’t need a coach?

Lin Xiaoya’s head buzzed, and a bunch of terrifying images instantly popped up.

She had scrolled through short videos before and seen people riding for the first time without a coach; they’d lose their balance as soon as they got on and fall to the ground with a thud!

There were also people who encountered spooked horses and were dragged across the field!

What if Sister Lei ended up like that too?

Horses were so tall; falling off could result in a scrape at best, or a fracture at worst. It would hurt like hell.

If she encountered a horse with a wild temper that suddenly spooked and bolted, Sister Lei had no experience and wouldn’t know how to pull the reins or calm the horse. Being dragged along then would be so dangerous!

Even if there were staff on the field, if their reaction was a step too slow, the consequences would be unthinkable.
