Chapter 1103: Chapter 1103:- The Crimson Blade of Vengeance

Aditya slowly took out a red butcher knife.

It was the very same butcher knife that Wahid had once used. The crimson blade reflected the light of the burning buildings around them, giving it an even more sinister appearance. Aditya calmly held the knife in his hand while looking down at Lin, who remained on her knees before him.

At that exact moment, a powerful figure appeared at the edge of the Core Court mountain peak. The Sect Leader, Victor, had finally arrived.

The moment his eyes landed on the scene before him, his expression changed completely. His gaze immediately locked onto Lin. Seeing his personal disciple kneeling helplessly before Aditya caused a wave of horror to surge through his heart. For a brief moment, he could hardly believe what he was seeing.

The blade was impossible for Victor to mistake. He understood this was Wahid’s blade.

At first, Victor did not recognise the man sitting before Lin. Aditya was disguised, and his appearance was very different from the last time they had met. However, when Victor noticed that the man was missing a leg, realisation struck him like a bolt of lightning.

It was Aditya. There was no doubt about it.

“STOPPPPP!!!!”

Victor’s roar echoed across the entire Core Court. The force behind his voice caused the surrounding air to tremble. Every disciple who was still conscious felt their hearts shake from the sheer rage and panic contained within that single shout.

Aditya slowly raised his head and looked toward Victor.

A warm smile appeared on his face. “Mister Victor, you are finally here.”

His tone sounded polite and almost welcoming, as though he were greeting an old acquaintance rather than an enemy. However, when Victor looked into Aditya’s eyes, he felt a chill run down his spine. That smile contained no warmth whatsoever. To Victor, it felt colder than the harshest winter. Beneath that calm and friendly expression was an endless amount of hatred, anger, and killing intent that had been waiting for this exact moment.

“Mister Victor, you and some members of your Sect went to Axel City in the middle of the Night. They all killed thousands in one huge explosion. Then you nearly killed me and destroyed my uncle’s cultivation.” Aditya said all of it with a warm smile. But to others, that warm smile appeared extremely cold and terrifying.

“Mister Victor, now give me one reason.” Aditya raised his hand and showed his index finger.

“One good solid reason as to why I should let your one and only favourite student live?”

“You can do whatever you want and get away with it. But when it’s my turn to return the favour, suddenly I am not allowed.”

The more Victor heard, the angrier he became. At the end, his body was shaking with pure rage.

“Aditya, if you do this, then I swear in the name of the Night Rider Sect that I will hunt you down. Unlike last time, this time, I will kill everyone. I will make you watch as skin your family alive and then slowly cut their limbs with a dull knife sparkled with salt and chilly powder.”

Hearing this, Aditya whistled.

“That’s some high-level creativity shit that you pulled out of your second mouth.”

“Your ass must be jealous because of the amount of shit that comes out of your mouth.”

In the next scene, the warm smile on Aditya’s face disappeared. He coldly stared at Victor with those red Dragon pupils. Those pupils seem to hold no emotions whatsoever.

At the same time, the grip on the red butcher knife tightened. “FUCK….YOU.”

In the next moment, Aditya moved. Without showing any hesitation, he horizontally slashed the red butcher knife toward Lin. The crimson blade cut through the air with terrifying speed. The moment Victor saw the knife moving toward his disciple, the last bit of calmness in his heart completely disappeared.

An overwhelming killing intent erupted from Victor’s body.

He no longer cared about the students lying around the Core Court. He did not care that his killing intent might harm the disciples who were already weakened by poison. At that moment, the only thing he could see was Lin kneeling before Aditya and the butcher knife moving toward her.

“ADITYAAAAAA…!!!!”

Victor let out a furious roar from the depths of his lungs. His voice was filled with anger, fear, and desperation. It sounded less like the roar of a human and more like the roar of a wild beast that had been pushed beyond its limits.

The next second, Victor charged toward Aditya with everything he had.

As a Peak 7th-order cultivator, his speed was terrifying. His body turned into a streak of light as he rushed across the Core Court mountain peak. He hoped that his agility and speed would allow him to reach Aditya before the butcher knife could land.

He hoped that he would be fast enough to save Lin.

He hoped that he had not arrived too late.

However, everything that was happening had already been calculated by Aditya and Athena. From the moment Victor arrived at the Core Court, they knew that he would rush toward Lin the instant her life was placed in danger. Victor cared deeply about his personal disciple, and they had used that weakness to force him into making the exact move they wanted.

The moment Victor tried to rush past everyone to save Lin from Aditya’s attack, he unknowingly stepped onto a rune formation hidden beneath the ground. The formation had been placed there by Anya the previous night when the entire Core Court was empty. At that time, there had been no students, no guards, and no other people around to notice anything unusual.

Anya had carefully placed the runes beneath the ground and made sure that nothing about the area looked suspicious.

This was not an ordinary rune formation. It was an extremely special formation designed to contain a Peak 7th-order cultivator. More specifically, it had been created to trap Victor himself. Aditya had spent nearly [31,000+] mana creating this formation; this much mana was more than 4 times his current Mana reserve.

The amount of mana required was enormous, but Aditya knew that trapping Victor for even a few seconds would be more valuable than thousands of mana points.

The moment Victor stepped into the correct area, the formation immediately activated. However, the formation had a special activation condition. It would only activate when it sensed the killing intent of a Peak 7th-order cultivator.

This meant that Victor could have walked over the formation normally without triggering it. But the moment he released his killing intent in rage and charged toward Aditya, the formation recognised him and activated.

Everything Aditya had said before taking action had been done for one reason. He wanted to provoke Victor. He wanted him to lose control, release his killing intent, and rush forward without thinking. Every word, every expression, and even the movement of the butcher knife had been carefully planned to push Victor into making a mistake.

And Victor had fallen for it completely.

Before Victor could properly understand what was happening, a powerful flash of bright light exploded from the rune formation. The light was a targeted attack meant only for him. It was so intense that Victor felt as if he had suddenly been forced to stare directly at the sun. His eyes were instantly blinded, and for a brief moment, he could not see anything except endless white light.

At the same time, thousands of small glowing fireflies appeared around him from nowhere. They moved through the air like tiny lights before landing all over Victor’s body. Within seconds, his clothes, arms, face, and body were covered in them. From a distance, Victor looked like a figure completely covered by countless glowing fireflies.

At first, Victor did not understand what these strange creatures were. However, as a Peak 7th-order cultivator, his reaction speed was extremely fast. Even a single second could feel much longer to someone at his level. Within that short moment, he quickly realised something terrifying.

The fireflies were not harmless. They were rapidly consuming his mana.

At the same time, they were draining his health and weakening his body.

The longer they remained attached to him, the more mana they absorbed. Victor could feel his energy being pulled away at an alarming speed, as though thousands of tiny parasites were feeding on his strength.

“ROARRRR…!!!”

Victor let out a furious roar and released a powerful burst of mana from his body. The force shook the air around him and threw the glowing fireflies away. One after another, they were blown off his body and scattered into the surroundings.

However, that brief moment was exactly what Aditya needed.

While Victor was trapped inside the formation and trying to deal with the fireflies, Aditya focused all of his attention on him. His eyes locked onto Victor’s position as he prepared the next part of the plan.

Victor managed to break the formation in less than two seconds. The moment the formation shattered, he immediately tried to move away. However, just as he was about to escape, the space around him suddenly began to distort.

Victor instantly realised what was happening.

Only the space around his current position was twisting. If he could move away from that area, then the spatial distortion would not affect him. However, before he could take even a single step, he realised that it was already too late.

The two seconds that the formation had trapped him were more than enough for Aditya.

The next second, the distorted space swallowed Victor completely.

When his vision returned, Victor was no longer standing in the Core Court. He had been teleported more than one thousand meters away from his original position.

The moment Victor reappeared more than a thousand meters away from the Core Court, his eyes immediately turned toward the mountain peak. What he saw made his entire body freeze. His eyes widened in deep horror as he watched Aditya’s attack finally land on Lin.

The red butcher knife moved horizontally across her throat, leaving behind a deep horizontal slit. Blood immediately began flowing from the wound as Lin’s body trembled on her knees. From such a distance, Victor could still clearly see what had happened, and the sight filled his heart with overwhelming fear and rage.

“NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!”
