Cleaver Of Sin

Chapter 1185: Nice Fit And Tattoos

Asher simply stared back at the four Regents as they stared at him with various expressions as he read their emotions. One could call what he was doing dumb, stupid, and extremely foolish, and they would be extremely right about it, as he personally had no reason to do this, as it was never part of the plan, nor did it help in any way.

Yet, he did it regardless. Why? Simply because it was a bit fun to mess with these four powerhouses.

Asher knew these people could move, kill him, rip him apart, or do anything to him before he could even activate Virelass’s Position Marker ability, yet he banked it all on the effect of surprise and shock that came with revealing his presence.

He had also perfectly timed it, only revealing himself about ten seconds before everything went kaboom. And as he stood here, time was ticking down fast.

Asher stared at their expressions for a moment, then gave an external sigh as he shook his head, his tone a bit exasperated.

”I have to say, you guys really fooled the entire Zarethorne Empire this time, especially your current Emperor. Who knew he had such a cunning mind despite being enraged by the death of his wife and newborn baby?”

His hands remained crossed against his chest as he spoke about how he really felt.

”Even though he was just the husband to the Empress before he ascended the throne and became the Emperor, who knew that just being the husband to the Empress gave one the ability to schedule things so perfectly?”

He shook his head as he leaned off against the wall, unfolding his crossed arms and legs.

The four Regents didn’t speak. They simply listened at this moment, their bodies, minds, and souls ready to react to anything and everything.

”Anyway, I just came here to say hello to the four of you, but how long you guys have before the entire Algorith Frontier finds this place and storms it, only the stars know. It was nice meeting you all, nice tattoos, hair, and fit, by the way.”

He commented in finality as a small smile appeared on his lips as he genuinely complimented them despite the seriousness of the situation.

The moment the mental timer in his head reached one second, Asher activated the Position Marker and vanished from where he stood, his body leaving in a purple blur. His body appeared within the forest, above the particular tree where he, the four Cadets, and Corporal Sonya had rested before they explored the underground space.

As they were heading to an unknown underground bunker, Asher had left a Mark on the tree. There was no way he was going to jump into some shady underground space without leaving a way to instantly escape.

Yes, he was powerful, but he wasn’t stupid... well, that seemed a bit weird to say, as he had just confronted the four Regents for no particular reason.

The moment he appeared upon the branch of the tree, Astra Energy came alive as he vanished once more, his body flickering into the Second Layer Of Space as he simultaneously removed the Mark on the tree with a thought.

---

Within the underground bunker, the four Regents frowned as they watched the Tenth Sun vanish, but they didn’t think much about it as they just assumed the clone had dissipated, as they had believed that the Tenth Sun in front of them was actually a clone.

The moment the Tenth Sun left, the First Regent, Second Regent, and Third Regent opened their mouths to speak, but the Grand Regent didn’t have time for them. She simply moved towards the wardrobe fitted to her table as she moved to take out the special paper, ink, and lighter artefact so she could instantly send word to all underground bunkers.

But before any of them could complete their motion, they all froze in place as their senses screamed the next moment. Their heads snapped to the side simultaneously as they sensed something in that direction. Although their senses had notified them that an attack was coming, alas, the sixth sense, danger sense, never always specified what type of attack was coming.

Hence, they didn’t exactly know how to react or even what to react to.

And with that, a ruinous, devastating detonation erupted outwards with world-rendering madness as the fifteen black orbs exploded simultaneously. The power was overwhelming and monstrous as it consumed the entire underground bunker in a tidal wave. Soldiers who were sleeping were wiped out before they could even comprehend what was happening.

Those who trained were also wiped out in the same manner, bodies tearing apart as skin, limbs, organs, and bones burned into pure nothingness as nothing remained. Those in the dining chambers weren’t spared, their deaths just as gruesome and devastating as possible.

The stronger ones, like the Wavestar Life Rankers and Voidstar Life Rankers, were able to react in time, but not all of them, just some. But even those who reacted had their fair share of issues, as even though they reacted before the speed and power of the explosion could reach them, how could they possibly defend without their Astra Energy?

Tanking it with their bare bodies was out of the question unless they possessed some type of special Physique like Saitama Silverleaf and Asher.

The silver metallic underground bunker couldn’t even hold on. Yes, it was strong, durable, and could withstand dents and destruction to a certain extent, but at the end of the day, it wasn’t built to withstand power that could injure high-ranked Life Rankers.

So it was simply torn apart like a piece of paper, shards tearing in all directions, shrapnel and shards of metal flying in all directions in a maddening wave.

The Grand Regent and her subordinate Regents immediately moved, their faces grim and filled with pure anger as they dove through the explosion, as it was no different from ordinary mist to their bodies as they rushed to save as many Soldiers as possible. Yes, their speed was faster than the explosion, but alas, their reaction had still been too slow as they didn’t exactly know what to react to.

The explosion rose to the surface, tearing through the metallic roof, the decoy underground space, and finally to the surface of the earth.

Rocks, sand, trees, mountains, and earth tore backwards in rampaging force as a gigantic mushroom-shaped cloud of explosion rose towards the sky, stretching almost a hundred meters and counting, then expanded as the range of the explosion crossed one hundred kilometers in radius in a matter of a mere second.

Asher, who was hidden within the Second Layer Of Space, simply watched without moving from his position, his heightened sense of smell taking in the pungent smell of blood as he calculated that millions of Velkrian Empire Soldiers had been erased.

He didn’t need to move; he simply floated in the air, above the enormous sinkhole, with his hands clasped behind his back and a calm expression on his face.

His head turned downwards as he saw what appeared to be a sinkhole that spanned an enormous diameter that made it seem like an abyss carved open into the earth itself.

Compressed wind rings of shockwaves exploded outwards as ravines tore open, earthquakes surging as Monsters within the distance were erased with utter ease as the Monster ecology that the Algorith Frontier had kept in perfect condition and state for a couple of years were wiped out.
