Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

Not knowing how to feel about being shooed away, Xuan Hao decided to just silently accept it and make his way out of the intelligence department.

For some reason, he had a feeling that the intelligence department of the Blue Sea Empire wouldn’t refund him if the location they provided contained Daos that he had already comprehended. Thinking about it, it was his own fault for not first specifying that the locations shouldn’t contain certain Daos…

Stepping back out of the intelligence department only a little over an hour since he had first entered it, Xuan Hao could not help smiling wryly as he looked back through the entrance and managed to catch a glimpse of the young woman who had given him the information happily jumping around the room with the interspatial ring filled with high-quality spirit stones inside of it.

”Haha! I struck it rich! According to official policy, I get to keep an entire 10% as a commission fee!”

”…”

Barely managing to catch what she was saying to herself as she jumped around happily, Xuan Hao could only roll his eyes as he began making his way out of the palace complex.

Considering just how precious one hundred high-quality spirit stones was to someone in the Domain Lord Realm, Xuan Hao didn’t feel the slightest bit surprised over the happy exclamations of the young woman from the Blue Sea Empire’s intelligence department. On the other hand, it made him feel that she was more normal compared to the exhausted state he had first seen her in.

Although it wasn’t out of the ordinary for normal people to be that exhausted after a day of hard work managing mountains of paperwork, the same could not be said for a cultivator. Especially someone who had reached the Domain Lord Realm.

The only way someone like that could get that exhausted from just paperwork was if they used their divine sense for days without rest… And so far, the only person Xuan Hao had seen do something like that before today was Elder Song!

For the Blue Sea Empire to also have people like Elder Song, it was easy to see why the Blue Sea Empire was considered one of the pinnacle powers on the continent.

Although…

He had a feeling that the people he had seen inside the intelligence department were driven by something different than the continued growth of the Blue Sea Empire…

Shaking his head as he thought about this, Xuan Hao made his way out of the palace complex.

However before leaving, he could not help taking a few glances at the main impressive palace located at the center where the Earth Immortal Realm Expert, he had seen fighting the snake demon beast in the past, should be staying in the process.

Even if the Earth Immortal Realm Expert in question was nowhere to be seen, his presence still lingered around the palace itself. Scaring off anyone daring enough to approach.

If not for the fact that his current strength had reached the Intermediate Stage of the Dao Domain Lord Realm, he felt that even looking at the palace would be enough to cause a shiver to run down his spine.

At least at his current cultivation realm, the Earth Immortal Realm Expert needed to be present for something like that to happen...

Leaving the palace complex, Xuan Hao didn’t stay inside the city for long before officially beginning his journey towards the special location that contained a chance for him to comprehend a new Dao. Not wanting to stay too long as the Earth Immortal Realm Experts currently missing from the city might end up returning at any time.

Unfortunately, although the special location was not located close to the inland sea where the Blue Sea Empire’s core of power was located, it was still far away from the border between the Blue Sea Empire and the Sky Empire. Even with his current strength, it would at least take him a month to reach… And that was if nothing happened along the way.

Compared to the border part of the Blue Sea Empire that he was in at the moment; the special location could be considered to be at the inner section of the Blue Sea Empire according to the information recorded in the document that the woman from the intelligence department had given him.

Although not the core of the Blue Sea Empire, it could still be considered to be part of the continent’s central region.

With this in mind, this would be his first time entering the core of the continent. If one didn’t count the time that he had accidentally ended up inside the primeval jungle.

The place he ended up inside the primeval jungle might not be a true part of the central region, but it shouldn’t be anywhere less dangerous given what he had ended up encountering back then.

”Hm? Now that I think about it, I wonder what ended up happening to Chun Hua.” Remembering the young girl that he had considered taking as his third disciple back then, Xuan Hao could not help wondering what had ended up happening to her.

Given the sheer size of the primeval jungle, it should take her years to cross it and reach the core region of the continent. Even with her strength at the Nascent Soul Realm, she might still not have managed to reach the core region of the continent to this day.

If not for the fact that he could sense that she was still alive through the part of his domain that he had left inside her soul back then, he might have thought that she would have ended up dead inside the primeval jungle long ago.

After all, even when he had been in the Domain Lord Realm back then, he couldn’t move around for long before being forced to run for his life.

”Now that I think about it, from what I remember, her race should be related to nature in some way. Maybe she could use this to her advantage inside the primeval jungle…” Shaking his head as he muttered this to himself while flying alongside the massive river leading him deeper inside the Blue Sea Empire, Xuan Hao felt even more curious than he had in the past about Chun Hua’s race.

In the future, if he had a chance to take her in as his disciple, he would make sure to find out just what race she belonged to. Not only to satisfy his own curiosity, but also to help his future disciple gain a better understanding of her own abilities and heritage.

At the same time, it might also shed some light over the reason why she had to hide her special race in fear of others hunting her down.

Asking around for information about the Chun Family during his time in the core region of the continent might not be a bad idea either. Maybe he would even be able to find out where it was that his future disciple was worried about and help her out.

The only problem was… Even after hearing about the Blue Sea Empire and the surrounding empires and powers from Yi Min, he had never heard about the primeval jungle. Making him realize that the primeval jungle that his future disciple was trying to cross through to reach the central region was nowhere near the Blue Sea Empire.

With that in mind, Xuan Hao felt like he would have to reevaluate the teleportation formation back at the Half Spirit Race’s old home again. After all, there was no way the teleportation formation he had examined back then had the strength to move someone over such a massive distance.

It might have barely been acceptable if the primeval jungle was located somewhere close to the Blue Sea Empire and not too far away from the Star Shattering Sect, but any further than that would be unrealistic with what he had seen from his short examination of the teleportation formation back then.

Now that he had comprehended the Dao of Space and even reached the Small Success Realm in it, he was even more clear of just how difficult it would be to teleport someone over such a great distance in such a short period of time.

Even if he personally reached the Large Success in the Dao of Space and his cultivation reached the Late Stage of the Dao Domain Lord Realm, he doubted that he would be able to do the same as the rundown teleportation formation that had looked like it was about to break apart at any moment…

”Well… One more thing to do after I return to the sect…” Shaking his head as he realized this, Xuan Hao decided to throw it to the back of his mind for now as he continued following the river upstream. Part of him wondering if he should take some time to visit the intelligence department of the Blue Sea Empire again on his way back.
