Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

”So, what is it that you want to know? For your information, we don’t sell any information related to the imperial family or any of the Blue Sea Empire’s Earth Immortal Realm Experts. If we did something like that, I doubt the imperial family would allow our information department to exist in the first place…

Ah, I also have to remind you that the minimum price we take is around a thousand spirit stones. Even if the thing you want to know about is the color of the carpet at the entrance to the main palace.” Sitting down as she said this, the woman stretched out her hand with a small smile on her face. Showing very clearly that he would first have to pay the minimum price before they continued.

Rustle~

Not feeling that there was anything wrong with this, Xuan Hao casually took out a thousand spirit stones and handed them to her. Given his current level of wealth, it wasn’t really a problem to take out a thousand spirit stone.

On the other hand, he had enough spirit stones on him to supply the entire Star Shattering Sect for a few years. Although it might not sound like too much, it should be known that the daily expenditure of the Star Shattering Sect when it came to spirit stones had already reached the tens of thousands and was only looking like it was going to get more expensive in the future.

If not for the fact that the Star Shattering Sect now controlled hundreds of spirit stones mines after their recent expansion, it would have been impossible to keep up with the current consumption speed of the sect…

”Thank you~”

Smiling happily as she pulled the spirit stones inside her interspatial ring, she seemed to recover some of her energy before she turned to look at Xuan Hao. Patiently waiting for him to tell her what information he wanted.

”I want to know about locations that have opportunities for comprehending a Dao inside of them. Preferably outside the Blue Sea Empire.” Sitting down as well as he said this, Xuan Hao kept his eyes on the woman in front of him to observe her expression for any changes after he mentioned what he wanted to know about.

After all, locations that could help someone comprehend the Dao were not easy to come by. Even inside a large empire like the Blue Sea Empire, it would still be hard to find somewhere where one could comprehend the Dao without it already being under the control of the Blue Sea Empire.

This was also one of the main reasons why he asked for it to preferably be somewhere outside the Blue Sea Empire as he understood it would be hard for him to gain access to the places under the control of the Blue Sea Empire. Especially so considering his current identity being that of someone from the Explorer Union.

”Places to comprehend the Dao… Depending on his relationship with the Blue Sea Empire, he might be able to gain access to some of the locations where the children-.” Muttering this to herself, the woman suddenly froze as she seemingly remembered Xuan Hao specify it to be somewhere outside the Blue Sea Empire if possible.

”Given that, he likely doesn’t have the best relationship with the imperial family… As for locations outside the Blue Sea Empire… That is a bit difficult, and I will have to look through a few documents and see if I can find anything…”

Going quiet all of a sudden upon realizing that she would have to look through quite a few documents to find the relevant information, the woman let out quiet sigh before abruptly standing up from her chair. ”Wait here for a moment, I will be back in a few minutes!”

Swish~

And before Xuan Hao had time to say anything, she disappeared out of the private room. Unaware of the fact that she had voiced her thoughts in her obviously still exhausted state.

”This…”

Being left alone, Xuan Hao could only smile wryly as he began wondering just what had caused her to be so exhausted that she voiced her thoughts without even realizing it.

All things considered; she was still someone in the Domain Lord Realm…

In the end, Xuan Hao ended up waiting around inside the private room for a little over an hour before the woman returned with a half-dead expression on her face and a large stack of documents under her arm. Almost looking like she would collapse at any moment.

”Sorry, it took a little longer than expected to find the information. Now, let’s discuss the price. Depending on the level of the location, the price will increase. The lowest being around ten thousand low quality spirit stones, while the highest is a little over half a million top grade spirit stones. Other than that, you can also pay with source crystal. Of course, we will pay above the current standard price for source crystals if you have any.”

”…”

Hearing what she said, Xuan Hao could not help feeling his heart drop. Even if his current wealth was quite good for someone of his strength, it was nowhere near the level of being capable of taking out half a million top grade spirit stones to pay for some information, let alone source crystals!

It had to be said that top grade spirit stones were essentially the tier of spirit stones above high-quality spirit stones and were normally used by those in the Soul Ascension Realm and above. Even a single top grade spirit stone was worth over a hundred high quality spirit stones.

Even after everything he had been through, the number of high-quality spirit stones that he had didn’t number more than a few thousand. At most enough to exchange for a dozen or so top-grade spirit stones.

As for using source crystals… that was even more out of the question!

Having personally experienced how useful source crystals were for increasing comprehension during his breakthrough to the Domain Lord Realm, he could never imagine himself using something that precious to exchange for a bit of information…

”Is something wrong?”

”No, I want to exchange information for a location worth a thousand high-quality spirit stones.” Seeing the slightly confused expression that had made its way onto the woman’s face, Xuan Hao quickly shook his head and took out a thousand high-quality spirit stones.

Even if it was a large chunk of his current wealth, he didn’t feel like it would be wasteful as it could in a sense be considered an investment in comprehending his sixth Dao. Of course, there was also the fact that high-quality spirit stones weren’t really that useful for him after he broke through to the Dao Domain Lord Realm.

If he wanted to use spirit stones to increase his cultivation speed, he would have to use top-grade spirit stones, something that he had yet to encounter during his time in the Sky Empire.

”A thousand high-quality spirit stones… Hm… Ah! Found one.” Rummaging through the large stack of documents that she had carried in with her after swiftly storing the spirit stones away inside her interspatial ring, she soon handed over a document to Xuan Hao.

”Hm?”

Seeing the document in front of him, Xuan Hao accepted it before curiously reading through it. Wondering what kind of location, a thousand high-quality spirit stones had managed to buy him.

”A location that contains both the Dao of Illusions, the Dao of Mist and the Dao of Mirages!?” not able to stop himself from exclaiming in surprise after seeing that the location in question not only contained one, but three different Daos, Xuan Hao could not help feeling that the thousand high-quality spirit stones were well spent.

Even if he had difficulty comprehending one of these Daos, he would always be able to try one of the other two. No matter what, Xuan Hao didn’t believe that he would be unable to comprehend one of the three.

”Huh…?”

However, as he continued reading through the description of the location, his happy expression soured as he realized that the location was inside the Blue Sea Empire.

Although it was nowhere near the inland sea where the capital city of the Blue Sea Empire was located, it was still far further inside compared to where he was at the moment.

The only positive thing was that the description of the special location clearly described that the place had not yet been explored by anyone before and had only recently been registered with the intelligence department a few years ago without anyone having bought the information on it yet.

”Looks like you are satisfied with the information, with this, the transaction can be considered completed.” Not caring about Xuan Hao’s inner thoughts as he finished reading through the document, the woman just stood up with a happy smile after seeing he had finished reading through the document before signaling for him to leave.
