Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

As the Domain Lord Realm continued moving back towards the Seventh Star Peak where the main sect was located, Xuan Hao narrowed both of his eyes as he drew upon the power of the chaotic qi formation to separate the Domain Lord Realm Expert from the area around the Domain Lord Realm. Ensuring that he would not be able to do any damage to the sect or the disciples and elders wandering around just below the Seventh Star Peak.

Whoosh~

However, contrary to the possible attack that he had expected to happen, the Domain Lord Realm Expert completely ignored the Seventh Star Peak and flew straight past it before heading deeper inside the Shattered Star Peaks. Not even bothering to make sure that no one had spotted him. Although, this was likely due to him feeling confident in the artifact being able to hide from Shu Yao and Feng Chen.

Not only that, but he also felt confident that he could avoid him…

Haaa… Talk about overconfidence…

Shaking his head as he thought about this while following behind the Domain Lord Realm expert who continued moving deeper inside the Shattered Star Peaks without showing any signs of stopping, Xuan Hao could not help wondering if the Domain Lord Realm Expert had accidentally thought about him as someone similar to Feng Chen and Shu Yao, who had both only just recently broken through to the Domain Lord Realm.

If the Domain Lord Realm Expert had really calculated his cultivation base to be somewhere around the earlier or possible middle stages of the Domain Lord Realm, it meant that he didn’t have some kind of powerful identification artifact on him.

On the other hand, it could also just be the fact that his aura wasn’t that much different from someone in the Domain Lord Realm if he didn’t use his dao domain, which might have resulted in a misunderstanding…

Well… No matter what it is, it’s a fact that he didn’t notice me and showed no signs of even suspecting that his artifact didn’t work.

Watching as the Domain Lord Realm Expert reached the Sixth Star Peak, Xuan Hao decided not to think about this matter any longer and instead focused his full attention on trying to figure out what this Domain Lord Realm Expert was planning to do.

After all, he couldn’t have just entered the Star Shattering Sect for an opportunity to enjoy the view of the towering Star Peaks in person. If that was really the case, Xuan Hao felt like he would have to seriously question the intelligence of the person he was following and also the people who had supplied him with so many rare and precious artifacts.

Whoosh~

However, just like the Seventh Star Peak, he completely ignored the Sixth Star Peak and continued deeper inside the Shattered Star Peaks in the direction of the Fifth Star Peak.

Thump~

Only after reaching the base of the fifth Star Peak did, he finally come to a stop before starting to slowly make his way up the Fifth Star Peak.

”Oh? Looks like he has finally come to a stop, but what could he want from the Fifth Star Peak? The only thing there is a lake that agitates the surrounding chaotic qi…” Noticing that the Domain Lord Realm Expert finally coming to a stop before he started making his way up the Fifth Star Peak, Xuan Hao could not help muttering this to himself as he curiously followed behind the Domain Lord Realm Expert as he slowly approached the peak of the Fifth Star Peak where the lake was located.

Although almost the entirety of the Shattered Star Peaks had been covered by the chaotic qi formation at this point in time, there were still a few places that it did not yet cover, either due to certain limitations, or the fact that the formation was not powerful enough to cover certain parts of the Shattered Star Peaks, like the Main Star Peak.

And among these different special places, the top of the Fifth Star Peak was one of the places that had not been covered by the chaotic qi formation yet. The main reason for this being the fact that the lake’s effect of agitating the surrounding chaotic qi made it harder for the chaotic qi formation to absorb the chaotic qi and in turn would just end up destabilizing the chaotic qi formation if it was included.

Not only that, but Xuan Hao also felt a certain level of fear that the lake wouldn’t just agitate the chaotic qi after being integrated by the chaotic qi formation, but that it would also start to agitate the normal spiritual qi inside the chaotic qi formation. Not something that would be beneficial to the sect nor himself, who relied on the rich and calm qi present inside the chaotic qi formation to cultivate.

As he was going through his own thoughts, the Domain Lord Realm Expert who had been making his way up the Fifth Star Peak finally reached the top of the mountain and began smiling happily after seeing the lake located at the top of the top of the Fifth Star Peak.

”To think it’s still here…” Not letting go of the smile that was now covering his face, the Domain Lord Realm Expert remained fully focused on the lake in front of him as he said this. Making Xuan Hao, who was still observing him in secret, narrow both of his eyes in surprise. After all, from what the Domain Lord Realm Expert just said, it was obvious that he knew about the Fifth Star Peak and had been there in the past.

Even if the Star Shattering Sect had only been around for a few years at this point in time and the Shattered Star Peaks had been relatively easy to enter in the past when it had been regarded as nothing more than a place to harvest a few lower quality spiritual herbs or a place to go for the final attempt to reach the Nascent Soul Realm, the place had still been under the management of the Flying Sword Sect for hundreds of years before this!

Although it would be impossible to detect a Domain Lord Realm Expert entering the Shattered Star Peaks back then, he really doubted that this person only came to visit the lake at the Peak of the Fifth Star Peak.

Splash~!

And as if to prove him correct, the Domain Lord Realm Expert took out a small strange metal object from his interspatial ring before throwing it into the lake-

Rumble~

Not a second later, the entire Fifth Star Peak started trembling. Although not violent, it was still more than enough to be felt by anyone present inside the Shattered Star Peaks and might even have affected the area surrounding the Shattered Star Peaks to a certain extent.

Swish-!

Of course, Xuan Hao didn’t want this to happen, so he quickly acted before the effects from the Fifth Star Peak’s sudden violent behavior had a chance to spread throughout the Shattered Star Peaks and beyond, sealing up the entire area around the Fifth Star Peak with the help of the chaotic qi formation. Not forgetting to ensure that the Domain Lord Realm Expert didn’t notice anything odd happening in the process.

However, even if I hide it like this and he can’t sense me, he will undoubtedly start growing suspicious after not seeing Feng Chen and Shu Yao show up… After all, with such a large event taking place, they should show up quickly to investigate the origins of the sudden earthquake.

Narrowing both of his eyes even further as he thought about this, Xuan Hao kept his full attention focused on the Domain Lord Realm Expert still standing at the shoreline of the lake filled with anticipation as he looked at the place where he had thrown in the few weird objects earlier.

Different from the somewhat panicked reaction that he expected the Domain Lord Realm Expert to show after realizing that Shu Yao and Feng Chen, two Domain Lord Realm Experts, should have noticed him by now, he was instead filled with excitement as he remained fully focused on the lake in front of him. Seemingly waiting for something to happen.

Splash~! Splash~!

Rumble~

It was at this moment that something emerged from the depths of the lake.

Soon, it became obvious that the thing in question that had emerged from lake, was some sort of spiral staircase surrounded by some sort of strange white rock leading straight down into what he could only describe as some sort of structure that had managed to remain hidden under the surface of the water filled to the brim with chaotic qi.

”I have to inform master about this!”

Swish-!

Not at all caring about Xuan Hao’s surprise at the sudden realization that there was some sort of structure hidden beneath the lake of the Fifth Star Peak, the Domain Lord Realm Expert didn’t waste a single second after seeing the spiral staircase before turning around and rushing in the direction of the exit out of the Shattered Star Peaks.

Most likely in anticipation of Shu Yao and Feng Chen showing up at any moment.
