A little earlier, a large ship arrived at the shore of the Pure Heart Island as a handsome young man slowly appeared from the interior of the ship with an old man following closely behind him.

”So, this is the Pure Heart Island? It does indeed live up to its name… Even if it’s my first time here, I can still easily see why it’s known for its unique beauty! What a pity such a place falls under the control of the River Sect…”

Saying this as he narrowed his eyes dangerously upon reaching the last part, the handsome young man turned around and motioned for a few nearby people to come over.

”Is there anything we can help with, young master…?” Nervously arriving before the handsome young man, one of the group of people kneeled down submissively before one of them stepped forward and asked for instructions.

”Go and inform our people that we will be leaving for the centre of the Pure Heart Island immediately! No need to wait for tomorrow now that I’m already here!”

Waving his hands around as he ordered the group of people, the handsome young man soon began talking chatting with the elderly man standing beside him about their upcoming journey to the centre of the Pure Heart Island.

”…”

The people who had just been ordered to go out and inform the young wandering cultivators about their early departure. Glanced around at each other for a short moment before disappearing in the direction of the small building Chu Yang, Qing Yi and Huang Yongyu had visited to get a map of the island just a few minutes ago.

Quickly, a few minutes passed since the Ghost Howl Sect had arrived at the Pure Heart Island, and by this point in time a large expedition force had already formed with the handsome young master from the Ghost Howl Sect at the front.

The wandering cultivators who had come to join were confused about why the time had changed all of a sudden but didn’t dare complain about it as they all wanted to be chosen to enter the Ghost Howl Sect as disciples.

The only ones who would complain about the expedition being moved forward among themselves, were those who had gone out to hunt for demon beasts or search for spiritual herbs just before the Ghost Howl Sect’s young master arrived…

”Move out!”

Seeing that everyone from his sect along with a group of young wandering cultivators gathered, the young master of the Ghost Howl Sect gave the command to move out towards the centre of the Pure Heart Island.

”Hmph!”

Frowning to himself as he looked down at the large group of people, the handsome young master of the Ghost Howl Sect felt himself grow a bit nervous.

The true purpose of the expedition towards the centre of the Pure Heart Island was something only he and the elder beside him knew about and both of them knew very well how dangerous it would be for them…

But if they managed to succeed, they might be able to finally get rid of the River Sect for good!

No more need for them to station most of their Experts in front of the River Sect, they would be able to get rid of the River Sect and if everything went according to his father’s plan. The Flying Sword Sect would not be able to do anything about it!

Noticing his young master growing anxious as he was lost in thought, the elder quickly reassured him that nothing would happen. ”Young master, trust in your father’s plan! Nothing will happen and we even brought along so many experts at the Core Formation Realm! Don’t forget I’m also around to keep you safe in case anything happens!”

”Hah… You are right elder… I’m simply worrying for nothing! There is no way my father would send me here if he didn’t already think it would be safe for me!” Nodding his head as he relaxed a bit upon listening to the old elder, the young master of the Ghost Howl Sect sat up straight in the chair he was sitting on as he was carried by a group of wandering cultivators at the front of the expedition.

…

”Hm? Someone is approaching?”

As the expedition force were making their way through a rainbow crown tree forest located on their path towards the centre of the Pure Heart Island, a young man suddenly came sprang out from the thick foliage of the forest from the side of the path they were using.

Two others followed closely behind him, one male and another female as the group of three directly ran past the front of the expedition force.

Whoosh~

Just as the young master of the Ghost Howl Sect was about to order someone to stop the three people, the male in the front suddenly threw something over in his direction before disappearing back into the forest on the other side of the path they were using.

”Protect the young master!”

”My life for the young master!”

”Young master!”

The moment the people in the expedition force realized something had been thrown towards the young master, at least a dozen people nearby rushed over as if they wanted to give their lives to keep the young master safe.

”All of you, get back! It’s just a small blue spider corpse!”

Having reacted way faster than any of the other people present, the old man beside the young master had already realized that the thing being thrown towards them was not anything dangerous and had already caught the corpse of the small blue spider before it could reach the young master.

”Elder! How dare they throw a corpse; can I ask you to catch them for me to deal with personally!?”

Caught off-guard by someone suddenly throwing a corpse at him, the young master barely held back his anger as he looked over at the elder who had caught the corpse of the small blue spider full of anger with nowhere to vent it.

”Sure, I will be back in a short moment-”

Just as the old elder nodded his head to take off in the direction that the three troublemakers at the Foundation Establishment Realm ran, he suddenly felt several terrifying auras similar to his own approaching from the direction that the three troublemakers had just appeared from.

”Prepare for battle!”

Without explaining anything to his young master, the elder screamed loudly so every could hear him as a blue spider suddenly appeared from the thick foliage of the rainbow crown tree forest to their left.

Swish~

This was not the only one, as dozens of giant blue spiders suddenly began appearing from the forest before angrily charging towards the expedition force of the Ghost Howl Sect.

Bang!

To make things even worse, three enormous blue spiders each over three meters tall in height along with their massive bodies suddenly came rushing out of the forest. The biggest one easily reaching a height of five meters!

Each of them heading in the direction of the small blue spider corpse currently in the hand of the elder beside the young master of the Ghost Howl Sect!

”The corpse! How dare they plot against the Ghost Howl Sect!”

Having already realized what had happened, the old elder flared up in anger. At the moment, he wanted nothing more than to tear apart the three troublemakers from earlier.

Bang!

Sadly, he couldn’t chase after the three troublemakers before dealing with the blue spiders first!

Whoosh!

Several auras at the Core Formation Realm also appeared on the side of the Ghost Howl Sect, as several figures charged out from the expedition force to meet the blue spiders head on.

”I will deal with the big one! You four deal with the two others! Another two, stay behind to keep the young master safe! The rest deal with the normal blue spiders!

Charging out together with the other Core Formation Realm cultivators that had come to participate in the expedition. The old elder quickly gave down a set of orders before he began facing off against the biggest and strongest among the Core Formation Realm blue spiders.

Boom!

As the battle began, the surrounding forest quickly turned into a battleground as the blue spiders and humans fought each other to the death.

Even when they were clearly weaker than the humans, the blue spiders didn’t give up as they fought like crazy until they died.

…

”Looks like we got away safely… We really need to leave the Pure Heart Island as quickly as possible now! We can’t risk the Ghost Howl Sect blocking the path back!”

Looking back towards the direction they had just come from, as sounds of battle reached them, Huang Yongyu nervously informed Qing Yi and Chu Yang. Hoping both of them would choose to leave before they ended up in an even more troublesome situation than before.

”You should leave for now, we still have to gather some Pure Heart Spirit Herb for the sect mission and now that we know where it is, there is no way we can just give up on it!”

”But-”

”Don’t worry too much about us. Even if we get found by the Ghost Howl Sect, we can always reveal our identity…” Reassuring Huang Yongyu, Chu Yang didn’t feel like they had much to worry about.

The Ghost Howl Sect were in the process of dealing with the blue spiders and they just needed to take a long way around them, get the Pure Heart Spirit Grass and then leave.

Even if they were found by them, what could the Ghost Howl Sect do? They were still disciples of the Flying Sword Sect and the last thing the Ghost Howl Sect wanted was to be seen as an enemy by the Flying Sword Sect… Especially after what happened to the Raging Flame Sect…

”Fine… But you have to be quick! I will wait for you back at the pier of Pure Heart City!”

Reluctantly agreeing with the decision, Huang Yongyu made his way back towards the shore of the island, while Chu Yang and Qing Yi stayed behind.
