Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

Observing the person who entered through the door together with the short Elder Xia with a curious expression plastered all over her face, Wan Qiu barely manged to hold herself back from asking about what sort of alchemy he had been doing for Elder Xuan to invite him and have them help them improve their understanding of alchemy.

Looking closer, Wan Qiu saw that the person in question was a middle-aged man with short brown hair and a more handsome than average face. The nervous look on his face as he entered the room seemed somewhat out of place as Wan Qiu secretly smirked to herself. The nervous look on the middle-aged man’s face looked a bit funny given how out of place it was on the man’s face.

”Hello, I am Elder Gong of the Flying Sword Sect’s Alchemy Hall! You should be the alchemist Elder Xuan invited to come over to teach us about your unorthodox path of alchemy, right?” Interrupting her thoughts as she was thinking about the nervous looking man in front of her, Elder Gong stood up and walked over the person in question before greeting him with a friendly smile on his face.

”Ah, yes I am! My name is Peng Yun!” Looking a bit surprised upon seeing Elder Gong come over and greet him, the middle-aged man named Peng Yun quickly introduced himself as a somewhat understanding look flashed through his eyes for a short moment.

Wan Qiu saw this and looked around to see if anyone else saw it as well, but soon found out that she was the only one who seemed to have seen the weird look of understanding flashing past the eyes of Peng Yun shortly after Elder Gong had finished speaking.

Why do I have a feeling that something is wrong here…?

Mumbling this to herself as she narrowed her eyes and inspected the middle-aged man named Peng Yun in front of her now confidently talking with the other four core elders of the Alchemy Hall as they came over to greet him one by one, Wan Qiu increasingly felt that Peng Yun was hiding something...

Maybe Elder Xuan did not fully explain how he found this alchemist or what his true background-

”This over here is Elder Wan; she is currently the leading alchemist in the Alchemy Hall and is also close to becoming an Artisan Alchemist! Already having reached the peak of the Expert Alchemist Realm!” Interrupting her train of thoughts for a second time over the past few minutes, Elder Gong happily introduced her to Peng Yun as he soon began asking Peng Yun about different things regarding alchemy once again.

Not paying any more attention to her after everyone was introduced as he began working together with Elder Xia to formulate all sorts of questions for Peng Yun to answer.

Firstly, because they were curious about how far Peng Yun had really made it on the path of alchemy and secondly to test him and see if he was truly as good at alchemy as Elder Xuan said when he was sent over.

No matter how much trust they had in a Core Elder like Xuan Hao, they would never truly know how skilled Peng Yun was without testing him by themselves first-hand!

Watching how Elder Gong and Xia no longer paid any attention to her after introducing her shortly before both of them began excitedly talking with Peng Yun who was caught a bit off guard, as Wan Qiu saw him seriously trying to answer each and every question asked by the two elders.

”Both of you, give him some space and show him where he will be staying for now… You can ask him questions tomorrow after he gets settled down.

Another elder standing at the side watching as Elder Gong and Xia passionately began asking Peng Yun all sorts of questions regarding alchemy stepped forward.

”Indeed, we can’t have both of you scaring him away before the first day even passed…” Wan Qiu saw this and did indeed see a somewhat troubled look appearing on Peng Yun’s face as the two elders became more and more passionate in their questions upon hearing the perfect answers given by Peng Yun.

”Tsch…”

Wan Qiu felt she heard both Elder Gong and Xia clicking their tongue when she stepped forward and backed up the other elder, but quickly shook her head. She had most likely just misheard…

”I will be the one showing him where to stay as both of you will most likely not be able to reach it before Peng Yun here ends up running away…” Walking down beside Peng Yun, Wan Qiu rolled her eyes as she said this.

”…”

Elder Gong and Xia did not say anything but instead just kept quite as they watched Wan Qiu leave the room together with Peng Yun.

They really could not say anything! What she said was the truth and both of them knew that they would not be able to stop themselves from asking a few questions about alchemy! Especially now that they found out that Peng Yun was indeed skilled when it came to alchemy!

”How high do you think his realm is in alchemy?” Turning around to look at Elder Gong after watching Wan Qiu and Peng Yun leave the room, Elder Xia could not help but ask.

When it came to discerning the alchemy realm of Peng Yun, Elder Gong was clear that Elder Xia who was more experienced than himself would be clearer as to what realm Peng Yun’s alchemy had reached.

”I’m not too clear, but it should at least be at the Peak of the Expert Realm like Wan Qiu… Maybe even higher than that! I really have no clue how Elder Xuan found someone like that, and he even practiced an unorthodox path when it came to alchemy! I suddenly feel really excited when thinking about learning another way of alchemy!” Smiling from ear to ear as he confidently said this with an excited look on his face, Elder Xia’s words made not only Elder Gong grow excited but the two other core elders of the Alchemy Hall as well.

No matter what, every single alchemist of the Alchemy Hall wanted to improve, and these elders was no different.

No, completely opposite from that, they might even be more driven towards improvement the older and more experienced they grew.
