Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

”Chu Yang… Have you decided whether you want to become my disciple or not?” Looking at Chu Yang kneeling in front of him, Xuan Hao smiled slightly as he already knew the answer.

”Yes, elder Xuan- Master, I have decided to become a disciple of the Flying Sword Sect and become your disciple!” Still kneeling on the floor, Chu Yang said in a determined voice. Clearly, he had already come to terms with the fact that Xuan Hao would be his master.

”Great, first we will have to register you at the Flying Sword Sect, when Qing Yi returns, you can have her help you get registered! You can leave for now and go find a room to settle into as you wait for your senior sister to return, there should be quite a few free rooms in the pavilion at the moment… If you are unsure about what rooms you can use, you can ask Zhi Ruo for help.” Smiling widely as he heard the sound of the quest being completed from his sea of consciousness, Xuan Hao quickly waved for Chu Yang to leave so he could enter his sea of consciousness and get the quest reward.

”…” I expected to be taught something or hear some wise life lesson upon becoming your disciple, why are you just sending me away without teaching me anything?!

As Chu Yang walked out of the room in a slight daze, he felt like he had gotten scammed by Xuan Hao. Not really knowing what he had lost…

”How do I get out of here again…?” Looking at the corridors going in all directions looking the exact same, Chu Yang felt extremely unfortunate as he picked a corridor and walked down it, hoping for the best.

At least he should be able to find his way out if he just continued walking in one direction… Right?

…

Back inside his room, Xuan Hao excitedly sat in a meditative position as he entered his sea of consciousness to interact with the system.

[Side Quest: Have a disciple with talent value of 50 or above (complete)]

[Rewards: Cultivation Increase of 3 small realms]

[Redeem]: [Y/N]

Choosing to redeem the rewards like last time, Xuan Hao was not really prepared for the massive amount of qi suddenly entering his body as he felt the enormous amount of qi start to course through all of his meridians and strengthen his body, until it finally entered his dantian, slowly starting to strengthen his nascent soul.

As his nascent soul strengthened, it started to grow in size as the power of his soul got stronger.

As this was happening, Xuan Hao also felt his strength increase as his divine sense strengthened, covering a larger area compared to before!

Finally, and most importantly, Xuan Hao felt his comprehension towards the Sword Dao increase as he felt it would be easier to cultivate the Untold Swords Mantra in the future.

Looking at his own situation, Xuan Hao guessed that the stronger his soul got, the easier it would be for him to comprehend the Dao in the future.

Feeling that he had broken through to the fourth stage of the Nascent Soul Realm, Xuan Hao knew that it was not over yet as he sat down and felt a new rush of qi enter him once again. Pushing his Realm from the fourth stage of the Nascent Soul Realm to the Fifth Stage of the Nascent Soul Realm.

”Hah…”

This process repeated one more time as Xuan Hao let out a slightly exhausted breath.

Breaking through three minor realms at once was extremely exhausting, even with the systems assistance, Xuan Hao felt that he needed a few days to stabilize and familiarize himself with his newly acquired strength, lest he accidently ends up destroying something or killing someone due to using too much strength.

Xuan Hao could not even imagine how it would look like if he met a fellow elder and accidently bumped into him and caused him to go flying…

There had once been a time when a genius disciple of a famous sect on the Ewaria Continent did not go into seclusion to familiarize himself with his new strength and had instead went to celebrate with his fiancé and his best friend…

In the end, the fabled genius had hit his friend a little too hard on the back as they were having a drink or two, causing him to go flying into his fiancé’s bosom… Killing the poor guy in the process…

The fiancé had ended up injured as well, but she at least managed to survive with only a few injuries…

In the end, the fabled genius had gotten traumatized from what had happened and ended up secluding himself for a few years before recovering.

This was also one of the reasons why cultivators went into a short period of seclusion after breaking through to a new realm… They did not want to accidently launch someone into their wife’s bosom and accidently end up killing them in the process.

Xuan Hao himself had also heard about the tale of the fabled genius killing his best friend with his fiancé’s bosom and felt it was quite interesting.

From what he could learn of what had happened later on, apparently, the fabled genius in question was still alive and was one of the sovereigns on the Ewaria continent that had surpassed the Domain Lord Realm, ruling his own empire for the past thousands of years.

If there was a chance in the future, Xuan Hao really wanted to meet the guy in question and find out if he had gotten married to his fiancé or any other interesting story that he might have.

There was way too little information from the story itself as it had only mentioned that someone could not control their strength and had ended up killing his best friend by launching them into his fiancé’s bosom…

Xuan Hao was really curious how the best friend had died… After all, there was no way the best friend would have died from just being launched into someone’s bosom… Right…?
