Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

The day of the finals of the annual youth competition of Bright Sun City was finally here!

Qing Yi had shocked the entire city with her Foundation Establishment cultivation, but she was not the only one who shocked the entire city.

Bai Fei shocked the city just as much, as he had managed to reach the Foundation Establishment Realm as well!

Most of the people already thought that the final winner would either be Qing Yi or Bai Fei and were looking forward to the battle.

As for the former winner of the annual youth competition Qing Chenyi? Most people had already forgotten about him at this point and only talked about Qing Yi or Bai Fei’s upcoming fight, though most of them expected for Bai Fei to win. The Bai family had after all spread out the news that his master was a Nascent Soul expert!

Not only that, but the Bai family had also spread rumours that Bai Fei’s master was coming together with him to watch his disciple participate in the upcoming competition!

…

Back at the Qing family’s house, many of the Qing family members were excitedly looking at Qing Yi, all of them had started admiring Qing Yi ever since they learned that she had broken through and reached the Foundation Establishment Realm.

This in turn also caused them to feel an even deeper sense of respect towards Xuan Hao, as he had managed to help Qing Yi reach the Foundation Establishment Realm in such a short time frame!

Qing Yi’s father, Qing Yang was even more elated when he had found out about his daughter having reached the Foundation Establishment Realm. The guy had even thrown a party as he was happily running around bragging about his daughter to anyone that had children of their own.

The first elder did not know whether to laugh or cry, as the Qing Yang kept coming running to him talking about how much more talented Qing Yi was compared to his son Qing Ming…

”Should we get going then?” looking at the respectful and awed looks from the Qing family members, Xuan Hao turned around and asked Qing Yi standing beside him.

”Yeah, the finals will begin in little over an hour. Only, I did not expect for that Bai Fei to also breakthrough and reach the Foundation Establishment Realm… The Black Rose Sect is indeed still quite powerful…” Thinking about Bai Fei, who also reached the Foundation Establishment Realm like her, Qing Yi could not help but smile awkwardly.

She had expected that she would be able to easily win the annual youth competition, as reaching the Foundation Establishment Realm was considered extremely difficult at her age.

Only places like the Flying Sword Sect and the other top powers would have geniuses who reached the Foundation Establishment Realm at her age.

For Bai Fei, who did not have something like a divine physique that she did, to reach the Foundation Establishment Realm?

Qing Yi felt some doubts about it, but who knows, he was after all taken in as a disciple of a Nascent Soul Realm expert… There must be some reason for someone like that to want to take him in. Maybe his talent was just not something that the people of the Bright Sun City could see, like her Divine Physique!

”Great! Then let’s get going immediately!” As Qing Yi was wondering why Bai Fei was able to become the disciple of a Nascent Soul expert and reach the Foundation Establishment Realm, Xuan Hao pulled her hand and quickly made his way out of the Qing family house.

Staying there under the respectful and awed looks from the younger and older generation of the Qing family was a little too much for Xuan Hao, their gaze on him was too much. The worst was the hungry look which some of the girls and women looked at him with, that was a truly horrifying feeling. Like they wanted to eat him or something!

Luckily, Qing Yi was not like them and was obedient and followed all of his instructions without missing a beat. Having an obedient and innocent disciple was definitely the way to go!

Hopefully, nothing would change in the future and Qing Yi would always remain as obedient and innocent, as she was at the moment.

Smiling to himself as he turned to look at Qing Yi following behind him with her father following closely behind, Xuan Hao, Qing Yi, Qing Yang and the rest of the Qing family made their way to the venue where the finals of the annual youth competition would be held.

”Well, well, well…. If it isn’t the Qing family!” As the Qing family had made their way into the venue a mocking voice could be heard from the side as a young man walked over.

”Bai Fei!” Qing Yi frowned as she stepped away from Xuan Hao and went to confront the arrogant young master that had randomly appeared.

[System detected low-tier young master. Host is recommended to allow his disciple to confront the young master, this will bring benefits from ancient magic treasures or a sudden increase in cultivation along to your disciple depending on the young master’s tier!]

A sudden message from the system suddenly appeared in front of Xuan Hao as he stared speechlessly towards Bai Fei. What great luck Qing Yi has! She even manged to encounter someone like this! The system even showed a new feature all of a sudden, low-tier young master?

Xuan Hao looked at Bai Fei and instantly noticed who he was, he would definitely be a great opportunity for Qing Yi!

From what Xuan Hao remembered, people like Bai Fei were supposed to be steppingstones that people could use to either reach a new realm of cultivation or find some magical treasure. The so-called arrogant young master! A rumoured cultivation boost or magic treasure generator!

The system seemed to classify these young masters as great opportunities for his disciple as well, Xuan Hao was really curious about the benefit that the low-tier young master Bai Fei would bring Qing Yi!

Qing Yi seemed to have know what a great opportunity it was beforehand and had even gone up to confront Bai Fei by herself.

Ah, what a great disciple I have, not letting go of such a precious opportunity to improve!

Xuan Hao smiled to himself as he decided to observe how Qing Yi dealt with the low-tier young master Bai Fei.
