Cultivation Struggles of a Lowly Fox

Moon Aiko tinkered together with Chen Shi and the Soul Wood.

”This is not bad.” Chen Shi nodded his head in appreciation.

”Good, isn’t it~” It was obvious Moon Aiko was looking for praise.

”It still can’t match what the Lamp can do.” Chen Shi shook his head.

”Hey! A bit of praise wouldn’t kill you!” Moon Aiko pouted.

”It would...” Chen Shi closed his eyes. ”...”

”What is it?” Moon Aiko blinked at him.

”You... are unstable.” Chen Shi touched the Lamp gently.

”I know...” Moon Aiko was aware that Sun Aiko was bleeding through, thanks to her incomplete physique.

”I swear, she is getting stronger by being lazy.” Moon Aiko pouted unhappily.

”Your current... predicament won’t last long.” Chen Shi narrowed his eyes.

”I’m aware.” Moon Aiko nodded her head, but kept staring at him.

”What is it?” Chen Shi tilted his head. He was less apprehensive towards this Fox.

”Let’s do it again!” Moon Aiko smiled at him.

”Phrasing!” Chen Shi shouted at Aiko.

”Oh~, what will you do again?” Yue was interested and a bit scary when she appeared.

”He will touch me again.” Moon Aiko nodded her head seriously.

”Phrasing! You damned Fox!” Chen Shi groaned when he saw Yue’s scary expression.

”So we were not enough for you~?” Yue patted his shoulder.

”It’s not like that.” Chen Shi shook his head obediently.

”Then why is she undressing?” Yue pointed at Aiko.

”How else would we do it?” Moon Aiko tilted her head.

This was driving Chen Shi nuts, but Yue was not one to listen to reason when she had everything in front of her.

”Little Shi~” Yue caressed his head as Chen Shi sniffled.

”But I hope you won’t use ink.” Moon Aiko frowned.

”Ink?” Yue blinked and looked between them.

”...” Chen Shi’s gears inside his head turned at lightning speed.

”She wants me to use Runes to balance her energies.” Chen Shi explained as his eyes darted around. Aiko was still mostly dressed, well, in an undergarment that was like a short shirt and what looked like dolphin shorts.

Yue blinked at Aiko.

”I was told that Chen Shi used Runes when I first obtained the Moon Race, so I wanted to balance the energies temporarily before finishing my Physique.” Moon Aiko finally explained what she was after.

”Auauauauauau.” Moon Aiko’s cheeks were pulled by Yue for how she behaved.

”We will definitely have to have a talk about how you phrase things.” It was obvious that Yue was quite upset, since she believed that Chen Shi was more lustful than she expected.

”I’m sorry...” Moon Aiko pleaded.

”Hmpf.” Yue let go of Aiko.

Chen Shi sighed. Things almost turned for the worse.

”So you want to use my Drawing into Void to stabilise your energies?” Chen Shi asked again.

”You don’t have to stabilise, since that’s probably impossible. Just make sure that my Beast Cores don’t interact as much.” Moon Aiko nodded her head. Even with separate Beast Cores, Sun Aiko was bleeding into the surroundings, making things difficult for everyone.

”That’s easier than stabilising them.” Chen Shi nodded his head.

”Don’t say that before you try it.” Moon Aiko chuckled at him.

”How bad could it be?” Chen Shi didn’t believe that it was harder than balancing her energies.

”But just to make sure, those Runes will only last for a few years, maybe a bit longer if you manage them properly.” Chen Shi warned her.

”Afterwards, you won’t be able to use any Runes, since they would just burn.” He shook his head. ”Now, lie down on your stomach and manage your tails.” He shooed Aiko onto the nearby temporary bed.

Moon Aiko used the Heavenly Suppression Technique to its full potential to hide all tails.

”And you also have to disable all techniques, since it could interfere with my Runes.” Chen Shi narrowed his eyes.

”You won’t be able to work properly if I do that.” Moon Aiko blinked at him.

”I will manage him.” Yue gave Aiko a thumbs up, since she knew what she was thinking.

Chen Shi was confused, but soon after, he understood why.

Not only did this damned Fox have 8 tails, but she easily surpassed Yue in terms of beauty!

”Am I still beautiful, Chen Shi~?” Yue whispered into his ear, making his back straight immediately.

”O-of course!” Chen Shi nodded his head vigorously.

”Then where are your hands going?” Yue gently squeezed a certain little brother so that Chen Shi wouldn’t get any ideas.

”I-I’m just checking all her energies.” Chen Shi laughed awkwardly as he withdrew his hands that were about to reach the plump peaks, wrapped with soft fluff.

”I understand you have an Inner Demon, but doing this is not helping you.” Yue sighed.

”Sorry...” Chen Shi knew, but tackling Inner Demon was much harder than he expected.

”And I’m fine now, so you better fuck me later properly and without that guy back-seating you.” Yue snorted at him unhappily.

”Yes, yes.” Chen Shi nodded his head with a light smile.

”Can you fuck somewhere else?” Moon Aiko tilted her head. Even when she was in her undergarments, she was not embarrassed and was waiting for them to finish.

”We should talk later.” Yue rolled her eyes. At this stage, Aiko should act like she was at least a bit shy and not completely unbothered.

Moon Aiko opened and closed her mouth. She wanted to say that Chen Shi already had her proportions on paintings, so there was no need for any talk, but then she realised that it would be bad to say it, so she ended up like a fish without water.

”I will get to it.” Chen Shi was guided by Yue so that his Inner Demon didn’t take over him.

Moon Aiko waited, not minding his touch, since her skin would naturally burn him if he stayed in the same place.

’It happened during the hot spring.’ Moon Aiko nodded her head. That was when her whole equilibrium collapsed, but it took a while before it became more prominent.

”That means I will need a cold spring.” Moon Aiko murmured.

”Cold Spring?” Chen Shi paused. ”That is very rare, since it takes a lot more energy to cool things down than to make them hot.

”Not to mention, Cold Qi is hard to come by on this continent, since the winter is either mild or non-existent.” Chen Shi shook his head.

”How about making Treasure?” Moon Aiko glanced at him.

”Impossible.” Chen Shi denied Aiko’s intentions. ”The reason I’m saying that is because there is not enough ambient Cold Qi, so you would not gather anything substantial, unlike Neutral Qi.”

”Damn...” Moon Aiko sighed, clearly disheartened.

”Well, if the Lamp turns out well, I can do something for you.” Chen Shi felt at peace when Yue was around, and even his Inner Demon didn’t dare to come out when she touched his body.

It didn’t need to be a sensual touch; just the mere contact with Yue put him at peace.

”How is it going?” Moon Aiko asked, since she couldn’t feel his hands.

”Can’t you tell by the scent of burning flesh?” Chen Shi rolled his eyes as he popped a Pill into his mouth.

It quickly gave him resistance to Fire Qi and healed his burned fingers.

”I was wondering what that smell was, and I thought you were trying to cook something.” Moon Aiko was a bit sleepy for some reason.

Danji was looking over this situation, a little speechless.

Moon Aiko so naturally undressed that she was red in the face, and her seductive voice was too nice for her ears.

Yet now she was looking over them as Aiko was falling asleep, feeling... strange.

”Nothing will happen.” Yue smiled at her.

”If something were to happen, this place wouldn’t be in one piece.” Danji snorted unhappily. She also wanted to touch Aiko, but she quickly realised that Aiko’s internal heat was rising too quickly for that.

”She will be fine later, so you can cuddle her.” Yue teased Danji.

”Who says I will cuddle her!” Danji blushed, but it was already on her list.

...

Moon Aiko woke up from her nap, feeling a lot better.

She stretched her tired body, revealing her otherworldly curves.

Unfortunately or fortunately, nobody was around to see her.

Moon Aiko yawned gently. Her head was clear and not easily swayed, like when she struck balance for the first time.

’The Runes are crying.’ Moon Aiko shook her head. She could feel the Runes creaking from trying to keep the heat from the other Beast Cores.

’It should last, right?’ Moon Aiko’s cold expression was quite scary.

[There is no problem in the application of Void Runes.]

[As long as we use Providence, you will be able to keep the Runes going.]

’Then do it. Until the balance is established.’ Moon Aiko nodded her head. She already had plans on how to improve the Lamp, but first she would have to find where others were.

Moon Aiko walked outside with her cold expression, like she was some kind of ruler.

”Mistress?” Danji was startled that she muttered that.

”You are horny again?” Moon Aiko blinked at her, and Danji blushed red.

”It’s not like that!” Danji yelped at her. Aiko felt so different, but so... oppressive, that Danji couldn’t help but worship her!

”... You are definitely horny.” Moon Aiko nodded her head. ”Where are the others?” She asked gently.

”Private Study.” Danji answered, feeling wronged by Aiko.

”Thank you.” Moon Aiko gave a little peck on Danji’s forehead, almost making her faint.

”W-what?” Danji didn’t expect this cold Aiko to be so affectionate.

”What?” Moon Aiko tilted her head. ”You wanted this.”

”W-well-” Danji didn’t know how to treat this Aiko, so she just nodded obediently.

”Let’s go.” Moon Aiko smiled gently.

...

”Feet Shi, I hope you are not having sex!” Moon Aiko barged into the Private Study.

”Knocking would help.” Chen Shi rolled his eyes.

”Yue is not hiding below the table, right?” Moon Aiko narrowed her eyes when, suddenly, a book hit her head.

”Auch!” Moon Aiko cried out.

”Am I that perverted?!” Yue was reading books on the side, catching all the strays that Aiko threw at Chen Shi.

”I mean...” Moon Aiko blocked the book again when she tried to retort.

”You! We will have the talk now!” Yue chased Aiko around, since she was way too honest! That wouldn’t do, since Aiko would make too many enemies if she didn’t fix that habit!
