Cultivation Struggles of a Lowly Fox

”I don’t like them.” Aiko was still hidden behind the Blood Fox, watching the Human Cultivators cautiously.

The Elders snapped out of it and used their Divine Sense to put their Disciples to sleep.

They were horrified at this Fox’s power and did not underestimate her.

The South Cultivators now understood why they had to prevent the North from getting this ’Treasure’.

’A voice that can destroy Empires...’ Tao Xin shook his head. It was a good thing that he still had a bit of strength left to put his Shadows to sleep, otherwise the losses would be too great.

Fiend Wang shared the same sentiment, but at the same time was excited about this Fox. She smelled so good that she didn’t mind going out with her.

”I’m troubled, Mistress.” The Blood Fox used polite language to forget the fact that Aiko’s soft cushions were pressed on her back.

Fiend Wang’s lips twitched. She could not believe that the Fox had so many... It made her sad she was not single.

”But they are weird! Look at their faces!” Aiko pointed at the faces of the sleeping Human Cultivators. They all, without exception, had the same silly grin on their faces.

The Blood Fox pursed her lips. ”We won’t cook any meat today if you stay behind me.”

Aiko whined like she was being wronged but took a step back.

The Blood Fox sighed in relief that that still worked and even more so since she was almost losing control.

”So, what happened here that there is so much destruction?” Aiko asked her teammate.

’You happened!’ The Elders wanted to say, but held it in since they didn’t know how much more powerful this Fox was.

The Blood Fox slowly nodded and explained the situation.

...

Aiko had a deep frown on her face. No wonder that the Seed no longer buggered her, it died because of the lightning...

’That means I will have to change my gardening plans...’ Aiko didn’t like that.

At the edge of her sight, she spotted a strange... large mouse? Weasel? What was that animal and why did it have such strange auburn fur?

That small animal scurried away soon after and it also had a large backpack on its back.

Aiko tilted her head, but didn’t dwell on it.

’If any of you can buy the ”capsasin” and ”lemon juice” or straight up ”Potion of Hurting” or ”Enhanced Potions of Greater Hurting” that would be great~’ Aiko hummed gently through the contract. They were all still close by so both of her teammates heard her.

’Very well.’ The Blood Fox replied, while Yuxi only gave a brief hum.

Aiko nodded gently, waiting for the Blood Fox to finish all of what happened.

”So basically, kill the North and be happy about the South? What about that guy?” Aiko pointed at the Young Master with his Dragon.

The Blood Fox didn’t see anything wrong with what Aiko said so she continued. ”He shielded us when you were Evolving, so he can be considered an ally... but he also eyed us up and down.” She didn’t forget to add something negative so that Aiko would not like him.

Aiko glared at the Young Master. ”Those are my tails!” She pointed at the Blood Fox tails. ”Find your own, bastard!” *Ptooey* Aiko spat on the ground, but that ground flourished with flowers, startling her greatly.

’I can’t even spit now.’ Aiko groaned in her mind.

The Young Master pursed his lips. She was not entirely wrong about that point, but it still hurt when she said it like that.

”I have no intention of doing anything like that-” The Young Master tried to defend himself, but Aiko interrupted him.

”While I stare at your tits!” Aiko spat at him and he could only look away.

”And what about those bastards sneaking around?” Aiko pointed at another group of Cultivators.

Those were fiendish Cultivators that survived the onslaught of the Northern, Western, and Southern powers.

”I don’t know who they are.” The Blood Fox tilted her head and then it clicked. ”It’s probably those Cultivators that hurt Umbra.” She nodded repeatedly since she did not see them around.

”Drop dead you assholes!” Aiko scoffed at them with bloodlust and as she expected, they just toppled over and died on the spot.

”Hmpf! You dare hurt my teammates!” Aiko snorted disdainfully and Fiend Wang recoiled.

”I only did it because I was ordered by our Elders!” She suddenly shouted.

”My wifey is not a bad person at heart, please forgive her.” Tao Xin stepped in for his wife.

Aiko’s lips twitched. ”Pay up your dues and scram.” She shooed them away, this whole thing was exhausting for her especially now that her Vitality was in negatives.

”Well...” Fiend Wang coughed awkwardly.

”What?” Aiko glared at her.

”Our ships got destroyed, so it’s hard for us to leave...” Fiend Wang blushed awkwardly, they used cheap ships since they didn’t expect interference, but that saved them a lot of expenses...

Aiko rolled her eyes. ”There is a functioning flying ship so use it.” She pointed at the flying ship that the Young Master used and at the same moment a piece of that flying ship fell down. ”Mostly functional.” Aiko corrected her sentence with slight awkwardness.

”It can’t fly any more...” The Young Master pursed his lips. His Levitation Stone was shattered by the explosions of Qi, which meant that his flying ship was now just a ship...

Aiko stared at those bastards speechlessly. She could not believe the gall of those people!

...

Yuxi sped up through the forest in her [Nightmare Form], she was more used to it now, but something bothered her.

What was this strange window and what did it show? Yuxi could not understand it. There were numbers and names, but she only understood very little.

The name of the system was also strange. Who was ####? Did Aiko also see it like this? And why can’t she say the name out loud, but she could still read it?

Yuxi had many questions, yet her goal was still the same. She wanted to question Wanshu and she would do so.

Her [Little Nightmare] guided her. She could not understand its speech, but she understood its feelings. Whenever she would go the wrong way, the [Little Nightmare] would be dissatisfied.

Why did she think that was the case? Instinct. She felt a lot more powerful and her animalistic instinct likewise got stronger thanks to it.

Yuxi now understood why Aiko liked being this quick. Everything was so slow in her eyes and she was quick enough to catch up to them.

Yuxi saw the Wanshu running away with that spineless bastard that no longer looked like a porcupine, but that could be fixed.

Her [Little Nightmare] followed her thoughts, bashing the tiny bastard of off Wanshu’s back.

Yuxi sped up and tackled Wanshu, since she also had a lot of explaining to do.

Meanwhile, her [Little Nightmare] munched with its sharp teeth on Mirage Fox, yet there were no injuries on his body.

He screamed and yelled as Yuxi stared straight into Wanshu’s obsessed eyes, yet they softened once he stopped screaming.

”I’m sorry Umbra...” Wanshu apologised as she felt like she was no longer under anyone’s thumb.

Her body was in a sorry state thanks to that drug and she would have lifelong negative effects.

”I’m no longer Umbra...” Yuxi’s voice was uglily distorted, unlike with Aiko where her voice was normal.

”I’m sorry... I didn’t know that he was freed till he forced me with Soul Command-” Wanshu gently whispered, but then she was suddenly tied with threads. Her mind blanked as she was transported into a different world.

Yuxi stood up with Wanshu on her back tied with her [Nightmare Threads]. She walked over to the tiny bastard and did the same, but instead of carrying him, she used one thread and tied it around her waist so that she didn’t need to touch him.

She slowly walked back to Aiko when she encountered a large animal. Was it a bear? But it had such a funny colour.

”Interested in my wares?” The auburn-coloured Bear asked.

Yuxi paused, puzzled as to why he was not scared, but she didn’t dwell on it too much since she also got that message from her Mistress.

”Do you have ’capsasin’ and ’Lemon juice’? There is also ’Potion of Hurting’ or/and ’Enhanced Potions of Greater Hurting’?” Yuxi asked with little hope.

”I do have ’capsaicin’ and the rest, which one would you like?” The Bear asked gently.

”...” Yuxi felt suspicious. ”Did we meet before?”

”It is possible.” The Bear smiled playfully, not saying more.

Yuxi felt even more suspicious when she saw that amulet around his ear.

”Give me one of each...” Yuxi stared at him piercingly, but he elegantly packed the things that this little Fox needed.

...

Aiko was still hiding behind the Blood Fox, waiting for Yuxi to come back. Yuxi had such a nice ring to it that Aiko liked her more and more, not to mention she really wanted to play with that tail! It was SOOOO CUTE!

Yuxi arrived with both of them and with a strange small bag.

She handed that bag to Aiko who stared at it. ”What is this powder?” Aiko asked questioningly.

”’Capsaicin’, Mistress.” Yuxi said gently.

”Hmmmm...” Aiko opened the small bag with the strange powder and licked a tiny piece.

Her face didn’t show much at first, but it was slowly turning redder and redder until it was like a tomato.

”Buuuuurns!” Aiko rolled her tongue outside with tears in her eyes, no wonder that strange Fox said that this would create something good for ’hurting’, but she should’ve given her disclaimer to not taste the ingredients!

Aiko felt like she was a Dragon breathing flames around! That’s how much it burned!

Fortunately, thanks to her Dew Form it quite quickly disappeared, but she won’t be getting anywhere near this powder!

...

”And these bottles?” Aiko asked with narrowed eyes, handling it with extreme care.

”’Potion of Hurting’ and ’Enhanced Potions of Greater Hurting’, Mistress.” Yuxi answered to the point.

”Oh...” Aiko nodded a few times. ”Which means this is for you so you can play with him.” She pointed at the bag that Yuxi carried behind her.

”It’s supposed to be fun to play with this, so use it well.” Aiko handed those things back to Yuxi, while staring at Wanshu.

She wondered how this would end, but she would first ask the Blood Fox for some snacks so she could watch the show~!
