Facing an Ancient God for a Year

Chapter 1560: Chapter 1555: The Stairway of Ecstasy

Youth can indeed be taught.

[The essential nature of desire is insatiability. Once it comes alive, it will seek proliferation at all costs until cognition is completely shattered into chaos.

Most of the time, that ecstasy is even believed to be the true self.]

This was the evaluation of the invitation in the task summary for the suppression of the Ecstatic Servant.

And as expected of an elite student left behind by the top research team at the Academy, with a little guidance, Miss Ji Liushuang already grasped some understanding of this.

She even used this understanding to explain the series of events from the beginning until now, a true integration of theory and practice.

As mentioned earlier, Fu Qian does not deny the significance of hope.

But in serious academic argumentation, he always tries to avoid the bad habit of optimism.

As a person rich in imagination, the brief exchange with the Ecstatic Crowd at the ball was enough for Fu Qian to conceive their inner world, not to mention the special case of Benji.

As for the conclusion, from the start, Fu Qian’s evaluation of it was not optimistic.

And now, this lack of optimism has been further strengthened—the craving for pleasure can never be eliminated, and beyond that, nothing else is immutable.

The specific manifestation is the ecstasy of endless twisted sublimation, for instance—

The desire for the flesh...

Controlling the desire for the flesh...

Controlling the control of the desire for the flesh...

Controlling the control of the control of the desire for the flesh...

These are by no means simple vacillations but are endless layers of degeneration.

Speaking of which, this pattern seems somewhat familiar. Crushing the reward of that time’s wicked frenzy, Visceral Critical Strike got an upgrade, described as ”the inner of the inner of the inner” with such infinite intensification.

It is hard to say if this is merely a coincidence.

...

And as expected of extraordinary talent, while Old Master Qiao and his team were on the first level, Benji had already reached the second level.

He even reached the third and fourth levels just now.

If one doesn’t hold beautiful expectations of the results like Professor Chang Mo, an entirely alternative interpretation could be given to Benji’s contact with the Finger Ball and his enlightenment after glimpsing the White Head Holy Church.

That is, the new pleasure was born from the denial of ”control.”

Essentially, it is of the same nature as Benji beginning to enjoy gourmet food outside.

The Finger Ball, or the White Head Holy Church behind it, brings ecstasy’s sublimation, not elimination.

Even the relief of the bodily pleasure cravings that other members of the Ecstatic Crowd experience is fundamentally the same.

They are not starting to become like ordinary people but are becoming more like Benji.

Of course, if it were just up to this point, it seems like merely proposing another explanation and cannot falsify Professor Chang’s conclusion.

In this situation, Professor Ian, the founder of the ecstasy theory at the Academy, was invited to appear again.

And with sanctity being tainted itself, Benji’s reaction is very intriguing.

His performance could be understood as ecstasy, after a brief metamorphosis, obtaining a higher level of ineffable pleasure from it.

Perhaps from Professor Chang’s perspective, it can still be interpreted as sanctity being tainted, losing its effect of purifying the human heart, causing Benji’s condition to flare up again.

But even her beloved student, facing the inquiry just now, the subconscious choice made has already demonstrated how the sharp-eyed public views it.

A bit of micro-invention finally led to a new discovery.

Of course, if a report were to be written, a bit more evidence would be nice...

Next, Fu Qian snapped his fingers.

And there on the high platform, Ian, who was almost inseparable from the giant emblem, slowly stopped his licking action.

And this tranquility lasted only a few seconds. With a bizarre hiss, his mouth expanded to the utmost and bit down hard.

...

Blood splattered forth, not only Ian’s blood.

The force of this bite was so great that his already deformed mouth was brutally torn again.

Yet, aside from this wound, on the white emblem Benji was gnawing on appeared a fine crack, and an even richer red liquid flowed out.

Delicious.

And almost simultaneously, a strange sweetness also permeated the space.

This place, which upon sight made one want to exchange vows of rings, seemed to have gained a hint of lewdness amid sanctity.

This further desecration appeared to foster some special transformation.

Of course, the pleasure Benji gained from advancing another level was indispensable.

Seeing the sanctuary not only desecrated but even damaged, his eyes shone as brilliantly as stars, as he drifted into an indescribable transcendence.

”Don’t worry about it, focus on observing and recording.”

Facing this transformation, the first thing Fu Qian did was glance at Miss Liushuang beside him.

The latter evidently had a strong combat intuition and realized that a kind of mutation was occurring.

At this moment, the Weaver’s Tip was ready for action again, prepared to deal with potential dangers at any moment.

Fu Qian’s first reminder was to let her focus on what she should be doing.

”Exclude biased observations and records.”

He even helped review the key points he had already taught.

”Okay.”

Utterly convinced of Professor Fu’s academic caliber, Classmate Ji didn’t hesitate for even a second to put away her weapon and choose the pen over combat.

Uh...

And almost immediately thereafter, Ian, who was crawling, squeezed out a sound from the depths of his throat.

But rather than a wail, it was more like a moan, even a slight seductive moan.

The blood overflowing to the corners of his mouth seemingly tormented his remaining fragments of will... and his body with an indescribable allure.

The next moment, having lost control entirely, Benji frantically sucked at the crack, and his body underwent a bizarre transformation.

Striae like wrinkles climbed across all parts of his body, then spread out to the sides and unfolded, the blood and flesh beneath continuing to replicate. In the blink of an eye, it resembled a cut-open tape ball.

And this infinite overturning brought distortion, swiftly erasing any remaining human traces from him—except for the hair.

Fu Qian had just wondered if the unruly hair inconsistent with the Sanctuary is gradually turning snow-white.

And even at the moment it was fully completed, Fu Qian perceives this form within his own domain, a manifestation constructed by his own will, seemingly breaking free from his intention.

Not only that, but the next moment that body extended from the emblem.

Though it lacked anything recognizable as eyes and made no sound, in that instant, Fu Qian clearly felt it locked onto him.

Following that was an agonized yet supremely blissful moan appearing in his consciousness.

And the accompanying sort of sacred and unspeakable power seemed to rend reason into pink bubbles—

Boom!

The sound within the consciousness abruptly ceased, replaced by the sound outside the consciousness.

As if struck directly by a cannonball, that body so filled with tension exploded violently in all directions, evenly smearing across the walls, each fragment no more than five grams in density.

Do you truly not understand how to write the word ’domination’?

Simultaneously, Fu Qian blew on his fingertip as if having accomplished a trivial task.
