Taking the Mafia to the Magic World

Chapter 1145: The Inheritance of Abby Miller I

Mylecent felt a powerful aura enter her territory simultaneously with the arrival of two ’weak’ Devils. Immediately, she opened her eyes in her meditation cave, forcing her diabolical aura out of the confines of her soul.

The skulls of the thousands of dead in her domain trembled, gaining strength and malice as they exuded the aura of death.

The guardians, hidden in the shadows, rose from their waiting places, sensing the signal for war coming from their sovereign.

No one was surprised or unprepared. In fact, they had been prepared for war for days!

Powerful enemies were circling the vast territories of Mylecent, looking for chances to weaken it for some of the most vicious and dangerous infernal beings. They had already faced recent battles and their troops were in position, waiting for the moment to march or to act right there.

When Mylecent raised her powers to their peak, causing a dense, deadly aura to spread over hundreds of square kilometers, so strong that 5-Star Transcendents would feel goosebumps as their bodies froze one after the other, her subjects awoke to war.

They didn’t speak or make a sound. They only had cold, bloodshot stares and horrifying thoughts.

Killing was the only logic they knew!

”It seems that today is the day for me to experience the powers of one of the great Devils of our time!” Mylecent’s female voice, high-pitched, almost tearing against the air, vibrated through her domain, covering the positions of today’s three visitors with her dark intent.

”Tell me, Jelgos, is Lothur Ritter after my head, too?” Her voice sounded angry beyond the level a person in her position would be. She almost sounded enraged, as if such a being coming after her was a sign of betrayal or broken promises.

Jelgos, the Devil hidden in the folds of space around Vicente and Kong, froze where he was, sensing the level of power that Mylecent had reached.

Locating him was no trivial task. He was close to reaching the end of the 10th stage, which could easily place him among the 20 strongest beings in Hell. But not only that, he was versed in spatial laws and throughout his journey, few had found him when he wanted to hide!

Mylecent was in the same power level as Jelgos, and so such a situation shocked him for a moment!

Smiling bitterly, he appeared a little behind Vicente and Kong, making a gesture of greeting to Mylecent.

”The heiress of death is more fabulous than I thought,” he said as he looked into the eyes of that goddess with long white hair, a big body, over 2 meters tall, but extremely sensual and beautiful.

Mylecent, like a few of the infernal creatures, didn’t have the rocky, dark countenance that the locals usually shared.

This surprised Vicente a little as he watched the beautiful woman, who had just appeared in the sky, over 10 kilometers away from where they were flying.

Jelgos continued, ”Did you know that I once invaded Qhava’s domains, and she didn’t notice me? You’ve already surpassed her, even if you can’t compare to her in cultivation!”

Mylecent wasn’t put off by the compliment. In an instant, she brought Vicente and Kong to their knees, while Jelgos couldn’t help but use a barrier to avoid a soul attack capable of killing 4-Star Transcendents!

He became more serious and said, ”Mylecent! We are not your enemies. If His Excellency Lothur wanted to deal with you, do you really think you could stop him?”

He didn’t wait for an answer and finished in a hurry. ”Those two are Kong and Vicente Fuller. They’re after you, after your alliance!”

At first, Mylecent didn’t believe Jelgos. It would be convenient to try to deceive her. Others had done it in the past. But when this Devil mentioned Vicente’s name, she hesitated for a moment, feeling that she had heard this name before.

She was still wary and poised for combat, but she raised one of her long, white arms, pointing at Vicente, ”Brat, what do you want? I’ll give you 10 breaths to explain yourself before my army devours you!”

Kong broke out in a cold sweat as he saw as many dead as could be on the horizon around them, shocked at how many undead Mylecent could control.

He and Vicente, as well as all the Devils, could control the undead. This was a basic skill for Devils. However, the number of undead creatures, as well as their quality, were not easily repeated by different beings. Only the strongest, most talented and those with the highest affinities with Hell could control the strongest and most numerous undead!

Kong had never seen or heard of a Devil capable of controlling as many undead as Mylecent in his hundreds of thousands of years of existence!

Vicente had heard rumors about someone as capable as Mylecent and immediately used that name to speak to that woman for the first time. ”Senior, I was turned by Devil Abby Miller after being saved by Senior Minos Stuart. I know that you are connected to them in a similar way. That’s why I’m here today to meet you and ally ourselves!”

Despite being under the pressure of Mylecent’s cultivation, Vicente stood upright, looking down at her, demonstrating a more powerful posture than Kong himself, who was much stronger than him in level.

Mylecent frowned at Vicente’s appearance and also at his words.

Hearing the names of Minos and Abby after so many years made her shudder for a moment.

’This boy was transformed by them?’ She asked herself in disbelief for a moment.

Many of the infernal beings knew who Minos and Abby were. It wasn’t difficult to know about both of them and use their names in some way.

However, few knew who had transformed Mylecent!

”Oh? Tell me more about what you know about these two and about me,” she said as she relaxed a little, but still kept her undead and guardians ready for battle.

Vicente smiled slightly. ”I don’t know much. All I know is that Senior Minos was on the run when Devil Abby turned me. We didn’t have much time to talk, but they told me to get stronger and one day ally myself with you. Senior Minos seemed to have plans for Hell and I was supposed to be one of his contacts here. You are probably the other contact he wants in our dimension.”

The end of Vicente’s explanation caught Mylecent’s attention. She hadn’t heard from Minos in years!

”Vicente Fuller, right? Why do you think he has plans for Hell? What exactly did he tell you?” she asked anxiously.

”He said we would only meet three times. The payment for my rescue would come the second and third time I saw him after that day I was transformed. But those times haven’t come yet.”

Jelgos and Kong looked at Vicente, both curious to meet the figure of Minos.

But Mylecent was much more interested in Vicente’s words, aware that Minos would not leave her behind after their experiences together. Her great friend and seer had predicted a long journey for her by his side, but it hadn’t happened yet.

Mylecent dreamed of the day when she could feel the sensation of being with Minos for the first time and, as such, she had absolute confidence that he wouldn’t fail her and had big plans for them to reunite at last.

’Apparently, Minos has big plans for this young Vicente Fuller... In this case, I can only join him to make sure that everything goes according to Minos’ expectations!’ Her heart grew softer, while her expression improved, becoming friendlier.
