Worthless Profession: Dragon Tamer

Chapter 951, Now You Can Make Your Move

This single strike directly shattered Mikami Saburo’s body, instantly killing him.

After all, Mikami Saburo was merely a Mage. His Defense could not be compared with Frontliner like Nichirin Takeshi.

For Lu Fan to slap Nichirin Takeshi to death was merely a matter of a single palm strike. Instantly killing Mikami Saburo was simply a casual attack.

Since this group had reached their limit here and could no longer continue clearing traps for Lu Fan’s group, then they had lost all utility. Might as well just kill them all.

Throughout this journey, Lu Fan had found them increasingly displeasing. He had long wanted to make his move. Now, he had finally found the opportunity.

After slapping Mikami Saburo to death, Lu Fan turned back to Jian Ying and the others, “Didn’t you all want to kill them? Now, you can make your move.”

Jian Ying said nothing, already summoning her several flying swords and beginning the slaughter.

Most of the group had already been fleeing in panic, completely devoid of any Will to fight. The Golden Asura Guards had already murdered them into scattered flight. Now, with Jian Ying and the others also beginning to attack, it drove them to despair.

What made them even more desperate was Jin Zhan.

Jin Zhan also stopped pretending to be a Black Flame Mage. He directly removed the equipment on his body and re-equipped his original gear. Accompanied by a birds’ cry, his three Golden Crows were summoned, launching a massacre against all people and Monsters present.

As for those Golden Asura Guards that the others could not handle, they were insignificant before Jin Zhan.

Each time his Golden Crows beat their wings, they would invariably scatter countless sparks that fell and exploded among the Golden Asura Guards, sending them flying.

Although not instant kills, one could see that Jin Zhan handled these Golden Asura Guards far too easily.

If he could deal with the Golden Asura Guard with such ease, let alone the other Players, almost every one of Jin Zhan’s Skills could instantly kill them.

With Jin Zhan present, those from Cherry Blossom Country had their predicament become even more miserable.

Simultaneously, they also realised that within their group, there had always been a team which fundamentally had not come to pledge servitude to the Ancient Gods!

This group had been lying dormant within the group all along, only now revealing their true nature.

Nichirin Takeshi in the sky had originally intended to let others stall while he caught his breath, then found a way to escape from here.

As a result, seeing Lu Fan’s group reveal themselves and begin killing both Monsters and Players together, he knew he had made an enormous mistake.

What made him even more speechless was that Lu Fan’s group had followed him to arrive here.

Even back then, he had sent his Clan’s Nichirin Four to engage Lu Fan’s group in combat.

Yet even so, he still had not discerned anything suspicious about Lu Fan’s group!

No, he should say that at the very beginning, he had actually been somewhat wary of Jin Zhan. After all, the Yasumi Clan he had mentioned was something Nichirin Takeshi had never heard of before.

However, later, through their exchange, Nichirin Takeshi could see that although Lu Fan’s group possessed decent strength and had defeated the Nichirin Four, compared to him, they still had a considerable gap.

Therefore, even if this group was somewhat suspicious, Nichirin Takeshi had not taken them seriously. He felt that as long as Lu Fan’s group dared make any suspicious moves, he could kill them with a single strike.

The result was now clear, that things were not as he imagined at all…

Jian Ying, Tao Xiaoman, and Qin Qiu were still fine. The strength they displayed now was not too different from when they had engaged against the Nichirin Four.

But Lu Fan was a serious lapse in judgement. Lu Fan’s strength easily overwhelmed Seifu Murasaki and Mikami Saburo, and it left him dumbstruck.

Previously, this young man had also participated in the battle against the Nichirin Four. Nichirin Takeshi had paid close attention to him.

At that time, he had merely released Totems, playing a Supporter.

Nichirin Takeshi had noticed him, feeling that each time he released Skills it was perfectly timed. It was clear at that point he was indeed a very promising youth.

But how could he have imagined that was completely all just a disguise!?

When Lu Fan released Totems, he alone could easily pummel the Nichirin Four into non-existence.

And without releasing Totems, he could instantly kill Seifu Murasaki and Mikami Saburo!

[What terrifying strength! Who exactly is he!? What is his goal in infiltrating the group!?] Nichirin Takeshi’s heart shook violently. Before he could react, suddenly a Golden Crow’s cry sounded, forcibly drawing his attention back.

He looked up to see a Golden Crow had already identified him as an enemy, charging fiercely towards him.

Nichirin Takeshi was greatly alarmed, immediately preparing to counterattack.

However, in just a single exchange, the Golden Crow had severely wounded his Flying Dragon, causing him and the Flying Dragon to plummet to the ground together, their entire bodies scorched black.

Fortunately, he had not fallen into an area with Golden Asura Guards.

Otherwise, after landing, he would likely have been greeted by their spears, following in Seifu Murasaki’s footsteps.

Even so, having been injured twice, Nichirin Takeshi no longer possessed much capability for combat.

He struggled to sit up, only to see Jin Zhan holding a long spear, walking towards him, apparently intending to kill him.

At this moment, Jin Zhan had already taken off his Mask of Deception, so now he appeared in his true form.

Although Nichirin Takeshi had never met Jin Zhan, from various characteristics, he still recognised Jin Zhan’s identity.

“You… you’re Jin Zhan!?” Nichirin Takeshi was greatly shocked, then angrily rebuked, “You despicable man. To actually come all the way to our Cherry Blossom Country, infiltrate our group, and then stab us in the back! This clearly violates all international rules. I’m going to tell this to the world, let everyone see just how despicable you, Dragon Country’s Supreme Commander, truly are!”

Upon hearing this, Jin Zhan laughed, “Cherry Blossom Country? International rules? What kind of ancient history are you talking about? You attempted to create chaos, yet you won’t allow me to come and quell the rebellion? As for wanting to tell the world about this, you’re welcome to try. But, of all the people who came today, how many can escape?”

“You…” Nichirin Takeshi was immediately at a loss for words.

Because he knew Jin Zhan was right. Everyone here today would die!

Seeing Nichirin Takeshi had nothing more to say, Jin Zhan could not be bothered wasting more words either.

After all, these people did not truly matter in the end, and the Golden Asura Guards still required some time and effort to deal with.

“Nothing more to say? Then go peacefully to the afterlife!” Jin Zhan showed no mercy towards him. His spear thrust forward.

Immediately, the spear tip blazed with firelight, transforming into a pillar of fire that pierced through Nichirin Takeshi’s body.

Nichirin Takeshi groaned dully. Before he could even let out a scream, this pillar of fire incinerated him. Just like that, on the spot, he became a charred corpse.
