Chapter 214, The Alliance of Extremistis Country and Cherry Blossom Country

Jin Chenghan coldly stared at him, walking towards Musashi Ten while displeased. “My Second Uncle has already made it very clear, in the Secret Realm, we can only earn points by killing the representatives and the Monsters here. How could you possibly earn points for killing my Summons? Get out of the way!”

As he spoke, Jin Chenghan had already walked up to Musashi Ten and pushed him aside.

Jin Chenghan took a deep breath at the dead Abyss Entangler head on the ground, and a black gas immediately overflowed from inside the head, inhaled into Jin Chenghan’s nose.

This was a trace of Life Essence from inside the Abyss Entangler’s head. Many of Jin Chenghan’s Skills required Life Essence to activate, so he could not waste them.

Although Musashi Ten did not know what Jin Chenghan was doing, he knew it was probably some Profession Characteristic of Jin Chenghan’s, so he did not ask. He just said with a laugh. “Hey, it’s just one Summon, right? I saw you summon so many Summons just now. So what if one dies? Why are you getting so angry over this single one?”

“What do you know!?” Jin Chenghan glared at Musashi Ten again and coldly said. “These Abyss Entanglers can scatter to different places and conceal their presence. My Profession Characteristic allows me to be reborn in any Abyss Summoned Beast when I die.”

“The purpose of me summoning Abyss Entanglers is to give myself more escape routes. Even if I get killed in the Secret Realm, I can still be resurrected. Yet, you’ve just killed one of my Abyss Entangler infants. This is equivalent to cutting off one of my revival chances. Do you know how much Life Essence I need to create an Abyss Entangler infant?”

Musashi Ten looked indifferent and waved his hand: “It’s just Life Essence, right? This is the National Trial Secret Realm. There are so many Monsters for you to kill. Isn’t it easy to get Life Essence? At worst, I’ll let you have a Boss later, how about that?”

Jin Chenghan certainly would not believe Musashi Ten’s words. However, he also knew that there was no point in getting angry with Musashi Ten. After all, the two of them still needed to work together to hunt down Monsters and representatives in this National Trial Secret Realm.

“Forget it. The number of Abyss Entangler infants I’ve released just now is not small. It should be enough to deal with the National Trial. I don’t want to get too bothered by what you did. While we are wasting time here, our ranking has already dropped to seventeenth place. There should already be sixteen people who have started hunting Monsters to gain points. We need to hurry up as well.”

As he spoke, Jin Chenghan summoned an Abyss Crawler to lead the way ahead, directly hunting any Monsters encountered.

Musashi Ten responded and followed Jin Chenghan to start exploring the Secret Realm, while also exclaiming. “But speaking of which, the methods your Jin Family employ are truly praiseworthy. Even in front of the delegates from 22 countries, you could still secretly manipulate things. Your Family really managed to send us to adjacent coordinates as said before.”

“I heard that in this National Trial, many people have formed private alliances, but in such a large area, it would take some time to meet each other. Unlike us, who were teleported together from the start, we can just go ahead and start killing, gaining the initiative.”

Jin Chenghan smugly smiled while he walked and stated. “That’s only natural. With our Jin Family’s methods, secretly arranging our teleportation points is a piece of cake. Moreover, I can tell you that what our Jin Family did is not limited to just that.”

“The design of the Nine Hell Demons seems fair, but it’s not. The Nine Hell Demons are much more dangerous than what my Second Uncle said. The Dark Castle will not only wander around each area, but there will also be Demon Patrols moving around outside the castle, who will launch attacks once they discover the other representatives. If they can’t escape in time, the Hell Demon Army will swarm out of the Dark Castle, launching wave after wave of attacks until the person is killed.”

“It’s said that as long as you carefully avoid the Dark Castle, you can avoid being killed by the Nine Hell Demons, but that’s not actually the case. To avoid the Dark Castle, not only do you need to concentrate on avoiding its wandering routes, but you also need some luck to not be discovered by the Demon Patrols.”

After hearing this, Musashi Ten’s expression changed, and he asked. “In that case, isn’t the Dark Castle extremely dangerous!? If we really encounter any of the Nine Hell Demons, you can escape through your Profession Characteristic, but what about me?”

Jin Chenghan smiled and assured him. “Since you and I are allies, I will certainly ensure your life.”

As he spoke, Jin Chenghan waved his staff, and a streak of black gas flew out from his heart, slowly flying towards Musashi Ten’s chest.

“This is…” Seeing this, Musashi Ten instinctively wanted to dodge. After all, he had heard that the Professions of the Jin Siblings were very Underworld-like, with Skills that were more terrifying than the last.

Jin Chenghan said. “Don’t dodge, this is an Abyss Contract, which can let you share my Profession Characteristic. After signing the contract, whether it’s you or me, we can both revive from the body of an Abyss Summoned Beast after death. This way, even if we encounter the Dark Castle and get killed, we can still preserve our lives.”

Musashi Ten did not trust his words easily and doubtfully asked: “Does this Abyss Contract really only have such a simple function?”

Jin Chenghan did not conceal anything and added. “Not exactly. There’s another effect, which is that if I really die, you will die too. But this effect doesn’t really mean much, does it? Because with my Profession Characteristic, I won’t die.”

“As for after we leave the National Trial, I will dissolve the Abyss Contract between us. Your Cherry Blossom Country is also a big country. Every word and action between us will definitely be seen and heard by the delegates of our two countries. If I deceive you, your country’s delegate will certainly come to my Jin Family for an explanation in the future, right?”

Musashi Ten thought this made sense. The secret alliance between Extremistis Country and Cherry Blossom Country was facilitated by the delegates of the two countries. It was made apparent that Jin Chenghan would not dare to play any tricks under the noses of the delegates. Therefore, Musashi Ten no longer avoided it and allowed Jin Chenghan to attach the Abyss Contract on him.

After the Abyss Contract was completed, Jin Chenghan nodded and said. “This will do. From now on you and I will revive inside an Abyss Summoned Beast, so you don’t need to worry about anything. Now, let’s go hunt for points. I think, as time passes, many representatives from the other countries may die at the hands of the Nine Hell Demons. We just need to ensure that we have enough points in our hands, and this National Trial Secret Realm will certainly be the biggest beneficiary for Extremistis Country and Cherry Blossom Country.”

“Hahaha!” Musashi Ten was in high spirits, “I’ve long heard that in any competition, your Extremistis Country always manages to employ some kind of scheme to benefit yourselves. Now, you’ve really opened my eyes. Cooperating with your Extremistis Country is indeed the best decision.”
