We Agreed On Experiencing Life, So Why Did You Immortals Become Real?

Chapter 121: Ten Thousand Laws Realm Wonʼt Even Give Us North Sea a Chance to Stay Neutral

Above the sea surface at the center of North Sea, stood the eight Dragon Kings of North Sea along with numerous shrimp soldiers and crab generals.

At the very front, Little Green raised her head to look toward the horizon.

She was waiting for those scholars from the Confucian Academy to arrive.

”Sister Little Green, are we really going to sign a contract with the Confucian Academy?” Qin Qiaoqiao stepped forward and asked Little Green.

”This is Her Majestyʼs intention,” Little Green slowly spoke.

”Sister Little Green, I think the human race cannot be trusted,” Zhen Yun stepped forward, her eyes filled with killing intent. ”The grudges between the human race and our dragon race run too deep. How could the human race possibly believe that we would truly remain neutral, and how can we guarantee that the human race wonʼt strike us from behind?”

He Xiao nodded, ”Sister Little Green, I think the same way.”

Hearing their words, Little Greenʼs expression carried some gravity.

In fact, it wasnʼt just them who thought this way, Little Green thought the same.

Even their naive elder sister didnʼt believe the human race was reliable but why did elder sister still choose to sign a contract with the human race?
On one hand, it was because of Xiao Mo. Elder sister still retained her last bit of goodwill toward the human race.

Moreover, that period of life in Stone Bridge Village back then had always been elder sisterʼs most precious memory.

So compared to ordinary demon races, elder sister was actually closer to the human race.

On the other hand, elder sister wanted to do everything possible to preserve North Sea.

Because no matter which side they stood on, North Sea would have to fight against the other side. For North Sea, as long as they chose a side, North Sea would suffer endless losses.

Rather than that, it would be better to help neither side.

Anyway, North Sea had no intention of expansion and only wanted to guard their own small piece of territory.

What made Little Green worry now was whether North Sea truly had the qualification to help neither side.

”I know what you mean,” Little Green looked at them and said in a deep voice.

”I also know your grudges against the human race. Similarly, except for Xiao Mo, I donʼt like any other human either. But this great war concerns the survival of our North Sea. No matter which side we stand on, it could lead to North Seaʼs destruction.

Helping neither side is our best choice but elder sister also said that humans are cunning. We must remain vigilant and cannot completely trust the human race. Do you understand?”

”Yes!”

Although the other seven Dragon Kings were very unwilling to negotiate with Ten Thousand Laws Realm and wished they could skin and draw the tendons of Ten Thousand Laws Realmʼs cultivators, Her Majesty had already made up her mind, so they had no other choice but to comply.

”Prepare yourselves. The people from the Confucian Academy are coming,” Little Green slowly said.

Everyone raised their heads to look. The scholars from the Confucian Academy were flying over.

”Greetings to Miss Little Green and all the Dragon Kings.”

The person in charge of this negotiation was an Academy Grand Libationer from the Confucian Academy named Fang Shan, at the Jade Simplicity realm.

Behind him were seven Confucian Administrators from the academy, all at the Nascent Soul realm.

Both sides had the same number of people and the same cultivation levels. The Confucian Academy did this to show they harbored no hostility.

”Greetings to Master Fang,” Little Green bowed slightly. ”The Dragon Palace has prepared a banquet for everyone. Please follow me into the imperial capital.”

”That would be troublesome,” Fang Shan nodded with a face full of goodwill, as if he had come specifically to improve relations between both sides.

”Master Fang, please.”

”Miss Little Green, please.”

Little Green led the honored guests into the imperial capital and entertained them well in the outer hall of the Dragon Palace.

To show North Seaʼs regard for their relationship with Ten Thousand Laws Realm, this reception followed the highest standards.

In the Dragon Palace, Fang Shan looked at the delicacies before him, then at the dancing postures of the clam maidens and merpeople, and felt somewhat moved.

He raised his wine cup and toasted Little Green, who sat at the front, ”Miss Little Green, this old man toasts you. Actually, this old man also knows that North Sea harbors considerable grudges against our human race. For North Sea to choose neutrality this time is already a very difficult matter.

After this war between humans and demons ends, if our Ten Thousand Laws Realm still exists, we hope to establish more connections with North Sea.”

”Master Fang is too kind. If that time truly comes, we also hope to have more cooperation with Ten Thousand Laws Realm,” Little Green smiled politely.

Fang Shan looked toward his disciple beside him.

An Academy Administrator took out the contract.

One copy was placed before the teacher, another was handed to Little Green.

”This is the contract drafted by our Confucian Academy. Miss Little Green may take a look. If Miss Little Green has no objections, we can sign it,” Fang Shan said.

Little Green carefully examined this contract with North Sea and found indeed no problems but just as Little Green picked up the brush to sign elder sisterʼs name and was about to press her blood seal.

Suddenly, Fang Shan clutched his heart, his face extremely pale.

”Master Fang?” Little Green was startled and quickly stood up.

”Miss Little Green,” Fang Shanʼs eyes were filled with bloodshot veins. ”They... dressed beasts!”

As soon as Fang Shanʼs words fell, he turned into a pool of blood.

”Academy Grand Libationer!” The other Confucian Administrators were startled and quickly stood up to step forward but before they could take a few steps, they too were like Fang Shan, spitting out mouthfuls of fresh blood. In less than a breathʼs time, everyone had turned into pools of blood!

”Sister Little Green, this...”

Xia Wu stared blankly at the scene before her, not knowing what had happened.

”Dressed beasts...” Little Green tightly gripped the brush in her hand and sighed heavily. ”Ten Thousand Laws Realm wonʼt even give us North Sea a chance to stay neutral.”

At the same time, in the high sky a hundred li away from North Sea.

An ”Accompanying Saint” from the Confucian Academy coldly looked at that vast sea area.

Behind him were sect masters and elders recruited from various sects, totaling five hundred people.

Before him, a total of eight portraits were gradually burning.

These eight portraits depicted the eight people who had gone on this mission to North Sea.

Before Fang Shan and the others set out, this Confucian Sage had placed a curse on them, combined with the Ten Thousand Poison Sectʼs sect-protecting treasure, the Soul Transformation Wine.

When he activated the curse, even Fang Shan at the Jade Simplicity realm had to perish in both body and soul.

”Teacher,” An Academy Grand Libationer from the academy stepped forward and looked at those portraits burned to ashes. ”Junior brother he...”

”Fang Shan and the others went on a mission to North Sea but were treacherously attacked by North Sea. All eight died. We sensed Fang Shanʼs life flame extinguish and immediately rushed to North Sea, only to discover that the North Sea remnants had long since sided with the Demon Realm. We shall wage war against North Sea and exterminate the North Sea demon race!”

The Confucian Sage named Ding Shen spoke in a deep voice, his words reaching everyoneʼs ears.

Ding Shen patted his eldest discipleʼs shoulder, ”Chen Ran, donʼt let your junior brother die in vain.”

Chen Ran took a deep breath and bowed deeply, ”Yes! Teacher!”

Chen Ran turned around and shouted to all the sect masters and elders in unison, ”The North Sea demon race has sided with the Demon Realm!

Please everyone, follow me to slaughter North Sea!”
