My attributes are increasing infinitely

Chapter 521: Two beleiver obtained

Ethan looked at both of them calmly while remaining seated in silence for several moments. His expression carried neither pride nor arrogance, yet the atmosphere around him still felt strangely heavy. After everything that had happened, neither Null nor the Village Chief could treat him like an ordinary existence anymore.

The pressure he radiated was no longer merely strength.

It was mystery.

It was inevitability.

Ethan finally spoke in a calm voice.

“I told you before how to break through the chains binding Elysium, didn’t I?”

Null immediately nodded. His eyes contained obvious frustration that had accumulated over countless years.

“You said we would need to cultivate Law Strands. But no matter what methods we tried, we could not form even a single strand.”

The Village Chief sighed deeply afterward. His aged face looked unusually solemn.

“We exhausted every possible path. Ancient inheritances, forbidden rituals, soul refinement, elemental compression, divine resonance. None of it worked. We could comprehend the law of Elysium but we couldn’t form a strand. It always felt as though something invisible blocked us from doing it.”

His voice became heavier near the end.

“It was like standing before a locked door for eternity.”

Ethan listened quietly before a faint smile appeared on his face.

“Well, I found a solution.”

The moment those words fell, both men froze.

Their breathing unconsciously slowed.

Ethan casually raised his hand, and a transparent crystal slowly floated into the air. Countless streams of light moved inside it like flowing galaxies. The crystal drifted toward the two of them before stopping in midair.

“This contains everything,” Ethan said calmly.

Null and the Village Chief exchanged glances before carefully taking the crystal. Neither of them dared to act carelessly. The moment their consciousness entered the crystal, enormous amounts of information surged directly into their minds.

Complex formulas.

Principles of law.

Methods of faith.

Rules regarding corruption.

The structure of Law Strands.

The conversion process involving Origin Coins and Enlightenment Points.

The information flooded through their minds like an endless ocean.

Several minutes passed in complete silence.

The expressions on both of their faces gradually changed again and again as they processed the contents of the crystal.

Shock appeared first.

Then disbelief.

Then overwhelming excitement.

Finally, a faint trace of fear emerged deep within their eyes.

When they finally opened their eyes again, both of them stared at Ethan as though looking at an incomprehensible monster.

Null spoke first, though his voice sounded slightly dry.

“Are you telling the truth?”

The Village Chief immediately followed.

“This is real?”

Ethan simply nodded.

“Yes.”

The Village Chief inhaled sharply. His breathing became unstable as his aged hands trembled faintly.

“Oh my god…”

Null lowered his head slightly while trying to stabilize his emotions. Even with his mental strength, he found it difficult to remain calm.

“If this truly works,” he muttered slowly, “then everything changes.”

The Village Chief looked equally shaken.

“No. This does not merely change everything. This overturns the entire foundation of Elysium itself.”

For countless years, the people of Elysium had remained trapped beneath an invisible ceiling. No matter how monstrous their power became, no matter how terrifying their bloodlines evolved, they could never take the final step.

They could not touch true laws.

They could only imitate fragments through force and instinct.

Yet Ethan had actually created a path.

A genuine cultivation system.

Both men immediately stood up and bowed deeply toward Ethan.

“Please grant us this power.”

Ethan remained calm while observing them carefully. His gaze was steady and unreadable.

“Are you certain?” he asked.

The two of them raised their heads slightly.

Ethan continued speaking in an indifferent tone.

“You remember the rules, don’t you? Once connected to the Law of Infinity, corruption will carry consequences. And more importantly, you must possess faith in me.”

Null nodded seriously without hesitation.

“I do have faith in you. Perhaps not complete faith yet, but faith can grow through witnessing miracles. That will not be a problem.”

The Village Chief immediately agreed.

“I feel the same. After seeing this system, refusing faith would simply be stupidity.”

Ethan gave a light nod.

“Good.”

Then his eyes became slightly sharper.

“You each need to choose a law that will manifest within your body.”

The atmosphere immediately turned solemn.

Neither of them answered instantly.

Laws were not random powers. The law one cultivated would influence their future path entirely. A wrong choice could limit their potential forever.

Null slowly closed his eyes while thinking deeply.

After several moments, he finally spoke.

“I choose the Law of Karma.”

The moment he said those words, faint invisible ripples spread through the surrounding space.

The Village Chief narrowed his eyes before speaking as well.

“Then I shall choose the Law of Fate.”

At that exact moment, a notification suddenly appeared before Ethan.

[Ding! Two individuals have connected to your law.]

[Believers: 2]

A completely new section appeared within Ethan’s status interface. His authority over the Law of Infinity seemed to grow slightly stronger the moment the connection formed.

At the same time, changes immediately occurred inside the bodies of Null and the Village Chief.

Tiny strands of law began manifesting within them.

Although the strands were incredibly small, both men instantly sensed the difference.

Their entire perception of existence changed.

For the first time in their lives, they had truly touched the concept of true law itself.

The feeling was impossible to describe.

It was as though they had been blind since birth and had suddenly opened their eyes.

New information windows also appeared before them.

[Faith in Ethan Hunt: 57]

[Evil Points: 0]

[Law Strand: 1 cm]

Both of them stared at the information in complete disbelief.

Their hearts trembled violently.

Even the Village Chief, who had experienced countless storms throughout his long life, could barely maintain composure.

Null looked at Ethan with burning eyes.

“This is unbelievable.”

Ethan remained completely calm.

“You can use Origin Coins to gain Enlightenment Points. Every single point will increase your Law Strand by one kilometer.”

Then he paused briefly before continuing.

“However, the laws both of you selected belong to higher existential categories rather than ordinary elemental laws. The conversion efficiency will naturally decrease. You will need to verify the exact ratio yourselves.”

Both of them nodded immediately.

Ethan continued explaining.

“And remember this carefully. The stronger you become, the greater your Law Strand must grow before reaching the next level. Advancement will become increasingly difficult.”

After saying everything he needed to say, Ethan stopped speaking.

Then he simply looked at them.

Silently.

Calmly.

Greedily.

The meaning behind that gaze was painfully obvious.

Null and the Village Chief immediately understood what he wanted.

Both of them could only smile wryly.

Null reacted first.

“Here are one thousand Origin Coins.”

A spatial ring floated toward Ethan.

The instant the transaction completed, Null suddenly received a notification.

[57 billion Enlightenment Points obtained.]

Null’s eyes widened in shock.

His breathing stopped for a moment.

“It actually worked…”

His voice sounded almost dazed.

Without wasting any time, he immediately used all the Enlightenment Points. The Law Strand inside his body instantly began expanding at a terrifying speed.

Boom.

An invisible pressure erupted from his body.

The tiny strand grew larger and larger while radiating mysterious fluctuations throughout the surroundings.

Ten thousand kilometers.

One million kilometers.

One billion kilometers.

The expansion continued endlessly.

Finally, the growth stabilized.

[Law Strand: 28.5 billion km]

Null stood frozen in place.

Although the final result was only half the theoretical value Ethan had mentioned earlier, Ethan had already explained the reason. The Law of Karma belonged to a far higher category than ordinary laws.

The reduced conversion ratio made perfect sense.

More importantly, the growth was real.

Completely real.

Null slowly opened his eyes again.

The excitement within them was impossible to conceal.

The Village Chief had been staring at him the entire time. The moment he sensed the changes within Null’s aura, his own heartbeat accelerated violently.

Null had become stronger.

Not slightly stronger.

Noticeably stronger.

The Village Chief immediately understood the terrifying significance behind this system.

The man standing before him had truly created a path beyond Elysium’s limits.

“Thank you, Ethan,” Null said with trembling emotion.

His voice nearly cracked near the end.

“Thank you.”

Then another spatial ring appeared in his hand.

“This contains every Origin Coin I have accumulated throughout my life. One hundred billion Origin Coins.”

Even someone like Null felt genuine reverence now.

The Village Chief also stepped forward immediately.

He no longer wanted to fall behind.

“This is mine as well,” he said hurriedly.

“My savings are smaller. Around sixty billion Origin Coins.”

Ethan glanced at the two spatial rings before smiling faintly.

“You should deepen your faith in me further before giving me this much money.”

Both of them became slightly awkward after hearing that.

Ethan continued calmly.

“You have only just obtained your laws. First familiarize yourselves with them properly. Learn to comprehend them naturally as well. Blindly relying on Enlightenment Points alone is not a wise path.”

Then he looked toward the Village Chief.

“As for you, I will accept one thousand Origin Coins for now.”

The Village Chief immediately looked overwhelmed.

“Yes. Thank you, my lord.”

The title escaped naturally from his mouth.

To him, Ethan no longer resembled an ordinary being.

A person capable of granting the power of laws was already something beyond conventional understanding.

Calling him “lord” felt entirely reasonable.

Null also showed no objection whatsoever.

Ethan merely waved his hand casually.

“Very well. Go familiarize yourselves with your new powers first.”

Then he added calmly,

“I will accept the remaining coins in ten days. Before the banquet.”
