My attributes are increasing infinitely

Chapter 520: The foundational rules are established

Ethan returned to the castle slowly while countless thoughts moved through his mind. The deeper he considered Yumiko’s explanation, the more terrifying the implications became. What she had revealed was not simply another cultivation method or an unusual technique capable of increasing strength faster than normal.

It possessed the potential to evolve into something far greater.

If developed properly, this system could one day spread throughout all of Elysium. And perhaps, in the distant future, it could even extend into Grand Axiom itself, the true infinite world that stood above fragmented realms like Elysium. Grand Axiom contained endless civilizations, supreme races, ancient gods, immortal emperors, and ordinary mortals living beneath incomprehensible heavens.

If Ethan truly wanted to create something eternal, then the foundation needed to be perfect from the very beginning.

After entering the highest floor of the castle, Ethan walked into a quiet chamber and sat down cross-legged. The room became completely silent as he slowly closed his eyes. His consciousness sank inward while the golden Law Strand deep inside his soul radiated faintly.

“Yumiko, explain everything in detail,” Ethan said calmly.

[Understood, Master.]

A massive screen of golden light immediately appeared before him. Endless streams of information flowed across it while complicated symbols and formulas rotated endlessly in the air. The entire room became illuminated by the golden glow.

[Your Law of Infinity is fundamentally different from ordinary laws.]

[Normal laws represent fixed concepts.]

[Fire burns.]

[Water flows.]

[Space separates.]

[Time progresses.]

[Every law follows a stable and predetermined framework.]

Yumiko paused briefly before continuing.

[However, Infinity represents endless expansion and limitless growth. Because of this unique nature, your law possesses a characteristic that no ordinary law contains.]

[It can absorb external concepts and transform them into nourishment for its own evolution.]

Ethan listened quietly while focusing on every word.

[Theoretically, any form of value acknowledged by intelligent life may become fuel for your Law Strand.]

“Any form of value?” Ethan asked thoughtfully.

[Correct.]

[Faith.]

[Knowledge.]

[Resources.]

[Currency.]

[Even emotions.]

[However, currency is the safest and most stable option because it already represents accumulated value collectively recognized by countless civilizations.]

Ethan tapped his fingers lightly against the armrest beside him.

“So if someone willingly offers wealth to me, my law can convert that value into comprehension?” he asked.

[Yes.]

[Not only for you.]

[The contributor may also receive enlightenment from the Law of Infinity proportional to the value exchanged.]

Ethan narrowed his eyes slightly after hearing that.

This was essentially a transaction system.

A cultivation economy.

And if scaled properly, it could spread endlessly across worlds and civilizations. Countless beings might eventually become connected to his Law of Infinity through this framework alone.

Still, Ethan immediately realized the dangers involved.

“What are the risks?” he asked calmly.

Yumiko answered without hesitation.

[Greed.]

[Corruption.]

[Dependence.]

[Once your law becomes tied to transactions, countless beings will attempt to exploit loopholes within the system.]

[You must establish absolute rules from the very beginning.]

Ethan nodded slowly.

That part was critical.

If the foundation became unstable, then everything built afterward would eventually collapse. Worse still, if evil individuals gained unrestricted benefits from his law, then the Law of Infinity itself could become polluted over time.

That was something Ethan absolutely refused to allow.

For the next several hours, Ethan and Yumiko discussed every possibility carefully. They analyzed countless hypothetical situations and attempted to predict future problems before they could arise. Ethan understood that once the rules became integrated into the Law of Infinity itself, changing them later would become extremely difficult.

Eventually, Ethan slowly opened his eyes again. A faint golden light shimmered within his pupils while the atmosphere around him became noticeably heavier.

“I’ve decided,” Ethan said calmly.

[Please state the foundational law.]

Ethan took a slow breath before speaking.

“Those who willingly offer wealth to the Law of Infinity shall receive proportional enlightenment.”

“The greater the sincerity of the offering, the greater the enlightenment they receive. However, they must also possess faith in me as the holder of the Law of Infinity.”

As his voice echoed through the room, the golden Law Strand inside his soul began vibrating intensely. Countless ancient runes appeared around it while waves of invisible energy spread outward.

Ethan continued speaking calmly.

“The faith value shall range from one to one hundred points.”

“The enlightenment they receive shall equal the amount of Origin Coins they offer multiplied by one million and then multiplied again by their faith value.”

A bright golden glow erupted throughout the room.

Ethan continued explaining the details carefully.

“For example, if someone possesses fifty faith points toward me and offers one hundred Origin Coins, then they shall receive five billion enlightenment points.”

“If someone’s faith value toward me remains below ten points, they shall receive nothing regardless of how much wealth they offer.”

The Law Strand trembled violently as though acknowledging his words.

Ethan’s expression became colder afterward.

“Anyone connected to the Law of Infinity shall also accumulate Evil Points whenever they commit corrupt acts.”

“Murder without reason.”

“Rape.”

“Theft.”

“Corruption.”

“Treacherous betrayal.”

“Malicious slaughter.”

“The severity of their actions shall determine how quickly the Evil Points increase.”

Golden lightning suddenly flashed across the room while the surrounding space distorted violently.

Ethan then established the final punishment.

“If an individual’s Evil Points reach one hundred, they shall immediately suffer backlash from the Law of Infinity.”

“Their Law Strand shall instantly be cut in half regardless of its size or level.”

“The backlash shall descend directly upon their soul.”

The moment Ethan finished speaking, the entire chamber shook violently. The golden Law Strand within his soul expanded rapidly while ancient symbols formed across its surface. It was as though the Law of Infinity itself had accepted the new system completely.

[Very well planned, Master.]

[Anyone who wishes to connect with your law shall automatically receive these guidelines.]

[Only after agreeing to the conditions may they establish a connection with the Law of Infinity.]

[Furthermore, only Origin Coins may be used within this system. No other currency or resource shall be accepted.]

Ethan nodded slowly.

That restriction was necessary.

Origin Coins represented pure universal value acknowledged across higher worlds. If random currencies became acceptable, the system would become chaotic almost immediately.

Suddenly, another question appeared in Ethan’s mind.

“In Grand Axiom, countless people possess different Law Strands already. Would they need to abolish their laws in order to connect with me?” Ethan asked.

[No, Master.]

[Infinity contains everything.]

[Your law may coexist alongside all other laws.]

[Even individuals possessing different Law Strands may still establish a connection with the Law of Infinity.]

A faint smile finally appeared on Ethan’s face after hearing that answer.

“Good.”

He slowly stood up while the pressure inside the room gradually stabilized again.

“Then make it final. We’re going to establish this system from today onward.”

Yumiko bowed her head slightly.

[Understood.]

Ethan looked outside the large window calmly while thinking about the future.

This system would allow him to gain wealth continuously while also increasing his own strength endlessly. As more people connected themselves to the Law of Infinity, his Law Strand would continue evolving without limit. And the wealth would directly come inside his inner world. It didn’t matter from where the beleiver offered the money.

It truly was the loophole of Infinity.

A few moments later, Ethan smiled faintly.

“Let’s meet with Null and the old man.”

The instant his words fell, he sensed two familiar auras already standing outside the castle.

Ethan’s voice echoed directly into their minds.

“Come up.”

Both Null and the Village Chief vanished from the courtyard instantly and appeared inside Ethan’s chamber moments later. Their expressions became slightly serious after sensing the strange atmosphere filling the room.

Null crossed his arms lightly.

“What did you want to talk about?” he asked.
