Pampered Poisonous Royal Wife

Chapter 256

The Reaction of The Su Family

Su Yuyi’s smile faded as a ray of light flashed across her eyes: “Mother, what do you think of that Mu Yunyao?”

“How can the light of rice grains compete with the bright moon?” A flicker of disdain passed through the Eldest Madam’s eyes, “There are a lot of smart people, but they are harmless . Yu Yi, you don’t need to focus your mind on her . She’s just a girl who grew up in the countryside, and it’s just a matter of moving my fingers to take care of her . Mother has her own plans, and you only need to prepare for the Mid-Autumn Festival’s Palace banquet, do you understand?”

“Yes, Mother . I understand . ” Su Yuyi’s smile blossomed again .

After confirming that Mu Yunyao was the Old Madam’s granddaughter, whenever she attended a banquet during this time, she would hear rumors about Mu Yunyao . They said how outstanding she was in Jingling City, how famous Ni Yun Fang and Bu Xian Luo was…,

One by one, they caused her to feel extremely unhappy . Now that she had just entered the residence, she had actually nearly caused her mother to lose face . Naturally, she had to think of a way to teach her some lessons . Did she really think that the Capital was a small place like Jingling City where she could jump up and down?

Inside Jiyue Pavilion, Zhou Mama was a little dumbfounded . When Mu Yunyao had asked her if she could change the furnishings here, she thought that it would be just one or two of them, which is naturally harmless . But who would have thought that Mu Yunyao would have replaced a whole set!

Jin Lan directed her people to move out the original screen partition . She looked at the bewildered Zhou Mama and asked, “Mama, where should we place these replaced items?”

Zhou Mama quickly came back to her senses: “This . . . I’ll go and ask the Eldest Madam to see what arrangements she has . ”
“Then Mama, hurry up and come back . It’s not proper to have so many things piled up in the courtyard . ”

Zhou Mama nodded and quickly ran out .

The Eldest Madam was currently accompanying Su Yuyi to look at the clothes she will wear for the Mid-Autumn Festival . When she heard a servant report that Zhou Mama was requesting an audience, she called her in and said, “Zhou Mama, why aren’t you serving Lady Su and Miss Mu well? Why are you here?”

“Reporting to Madam, Miss Mu has changed quite a few of the furnishings in Jiyue Pavilion, and they are now all in the courtyard . Your servant has come to ask for instructions on how to deal with them?”

“Change a lot of furnishings?” Su Yuyi smiled and said, “No wonder Cousin Yunyao brought so many things with her . She even brought furniture and decorations . ”

Hearing the sarcasm in Su Yuyi’s words, Zhou Mama moved her lips and let out a dry laugh .

The Eldest Madam noticed her expression, and her eyes suddenly darkened . “How much did she change?”

“In reply to Madam, it’s almost … almost all of them have got replaced . “

The Eldest Madam held two jade bracelets in her hands, and when she heard these words, she slightly tightened her grip . The two bracelets collided with each other, making a clanging sound as she said, “The things in Jiyue Pavilion are all selected from the best . Since they don’t like it, then all the items go to the warehouse . ”

“Yes, Ma’am . ” Sensing the anger in the Eldest Madam’s words, Zhou Mama didn’t dare to stay any longer . After asking the question, she hurriedly left .

Su Yuyi no longer had the intention to choose clothes, her smile was still overflowing, but her eyes became colder: “Mother, tomorrow Sister Yanran wants to play with me . She has already been curious about Cousin Yunyao for a long time . It just so happened that I went over and took a look at it together with her . It also a great time to introduce Cousin Yunyao to my friend later . ”

The Eldest Madam slowly nodded her head, “That’s fine too . But your sister Yanran has been spoiled by your grandmother, and she usually speaks and does things that are not accurate . You have to persuade more on one side . Don’t hurt the feelings between the sisters because of a little thing . ”

Su Yuyi nodded obediently: “Don’t worry, Mother . I have a sense of measure in my heart . ” The relationship between her and Sister Yanran had always been harmonious, so naturally, it wouldn’t harm their sisterhood . However, if anything happened to Mu Yunyao, she wouldn’t be able to persuade her . There was nothing she could do .

When Zhou Mama returned to Jiyue Pavilion, she immediately ordered some servants to bring the changed furnishings and furniture to the storage room . Such a commotion soon spread to the Old Madam and the Second Madam .

The Second Madam, who was currently drinking tea, chuckled . She looked at the pale-faced young girl on one side, and her eyes were full of heartache, “You’er, that Cousin Yunyao is only three months younger than you, and she has an interesting personality . If you’re interested, you can go and have a chat with her . ”

Su You raised his head, picked up the medicine bowl in front of her, and drank it down, “I don’t know much about embroidery or tea ceremony, so what’s there to talk about with her?”

“It’s not like I’m going to force you to talk about embroidery and tea ceremony . It’s possible to talk about other things as well . ”

“Does she know anything other than embroidery and tea ceremony?” Su You ignored her and threw the bowl directly on the table, “This time, the doctor was bad . The medicine he concocted was bitter and astringent . After drinking it, I can only taste it . As for anything else, it’s useless and doesn’t affect . Mother, please help me change him . ”

Madam Qi once again considered her words to persuade her, “You’er, the one who prescribed the medicine this time is Imperial Physician Xiao . His medical skills were even praised by the Emperor highly . If it doesn’t work for you to drink for a while, how about changing it for your mother?”

“No, I can’t even take a single sip of the medicine he prescribed . If Mother isn’t willing to change him, then forget it, I don’t care anyway . ” Su You threw the medicine bowl to the side . She didn’t know whether it was because she drank too fast, but he actually felt extremely nauseous . She couldn’t help but holding her chest and directly vomited out the medicine she had drunk .

Madam Qi quickly stepped forward to support her . The maids and servants were holding water and carrying basins . The room was in a mess .

Madam Qi said with tears in her eyes, “Silly Girl . If you don’t like this medicine, don’t drink it . Why do you have to force yourself? Mother will tell your father tomorrow to replace Imperial Physician Xiao . ”

After vomiting, Su You’s face turned even paler . She got helped to lie down on the bed, and her breathing became messy, “Mother, don’t worry about me . I’m already used to it . Maybe someday …”

Madam Qi’s eyes were red, and her body was trembling, “You little girl, do you really want to hurt your mother to death? Aren’t you trying to dig my heart out by giving yourself up like this?”

Su You was stunned . Her fingers under the quilt tightened, but she acted like she didn’t care, “Mother has to get used to it, and the aunts below have a lot of children too . Whichever one of you likes, please take one over . Why spend all your time on me?”

“Child, did you hear any rumors or gossips from somewhere? Or did someone give you a hard time?”

“Whoever dares to gives a hard time, I’ll get my men to beat him to death!”

“Okay, okay . It’s okay if you don’t get angry . You can do whatever you want, but don’t abuse yourself . Mother . . . ” She has only one child . Looking at her sickly appearance, she wants to replace her by herself . Therefore, her heart was trembling, and she could not bear to say a heavy word .

Su You frowned, “I’m tired . I want to rest . ”

“Then Mother will not say anymore . I’ll sit on the side and look at you . You have good rest . ” Su You immediately rolled over and laid down on her face . Not long after, she fell into a deep sleep .
