Urban Powerhouse: Chaos Supreme

”Double Flood Dragon Gang?” Lin Mo frowned. Ordinary underground forces wouldn’t have the guts to loot special forces’ supplies.

”Underground forces from Myanmar and Thailand have been merged by some cultivators to form this gang. It also includes some superpower users, magic users, and martial artists. They’re very strong, and because of border issues, we can’t send a large force to take them down.”

While Shangguan Liuyun spoke, he slammed his fist hard on the desk, making a dull thud.

”So that’s how it is... I’ll go check it out.”

Lin Mo’s eyes shot out two beams of sharp light, his expression turning icy.

”It’ll be tricky to find the Double Flood Dragon Gang on your own. I’ll have someone show you the way. With you on the move, those bastards are doomed.” Shangguan Liuyun relaxed his fist, his mood suddenly lifting.

Others don’t know Lin Mo’s true identity, but Shangguan Liuyun does: Huaxia’s top Martial Arts Master, founder of one of the Four Great Martial Arts Schools, Sword Heart Martial Arts Hall.

”Hmm, okay.”

Lin Mo didn’t refuse. Having someone guide him could save a lot of time.

The two left the office and headed to the training ground.

”Instructor!”

”Instructor!”

A group of people strode over. It was Lu Yuanli and his three team members.

”Captain Lu, you are responsible for leading Mr. Lin to the Myanmar border to find the Double Flood Dragon Gang.” Shangguan Liuyun ordered directly.

”Take him to the Double Flood Dragon Gang for revenge?”

Lu Yuanli widened his eyes in disbelief.

”Follow orders!” Shangguan Liuyun’s face turned stony, his voice stern.

”Yes, Instructor!”

Lu Yuanli immediately saluted, his legs snapping together.

”Alright, be safe.” Shangguan Liuyun nodded to Lin Mo and turned back towards the office.

Shangguan Liuyun had heard about Lu Yuanli’s interest in Sima Zining but didn’t want to break it to him because Lu Yuanli’s background was not simple.

”Double Flood Dragon Gang, the instructor finally agreed to let us go for revenge.” Lu Yuanli clenched his fists, a hint of excitement on his face.

But when he looked at Lin Mo, a subtle smirk of disdain flashed across his face.

Lin Mo had lunch with Sima Zining and then boarded a military helicopter with Lu Yuanli and his team, heading to the base closest to Myanmar.

If it weren’t for accommodating Lu Yuanli and his team, Lin Mo could have just flown to Myanmar himself.

By 4 PM, they arrived at the military base codenamed Snow Eagle.

”Instructor Lu...”

Lu Yuanli, Zhou Dong, Zhang Kai, and Chen Yuanyuan walked together, while Lin Mo walked alone nearby.

They all entered the military base together.

A man who seemed to be a high-ranking officer walked out with a smile, accompanied by his assistant.

”Assistant Xu, I need information about the Double Flood Dragon Gang.” Lu Yuanli spoke bluntly, wasting no time.

”I’ve already heard about it. Let’s discuss it in my office.”

The officer seemed to respect him a lot, although in rank, Lu Yuanli was only a small team leader in the special forces, not enough to warrant such respect.

Lin Mo noted all of this, clearly realizing that Lu Yuanli had a complex background.

They entered the office together while Lin Mo stayed at the training ground with Zhou Dong, Zhang Kai, and Chen Yuanyuan waiting.

”If Captain Lu manages to take down the Double Flood Dragon Gang, should he go back to the south?”

”Mm, definitely. Captain Lu came here for training after all.”

”Actually, Captain Lu’s father is from the south...”

The three of them chatted without hiding their voices, clearly wanting Lin Mo to hear.

They were all Lu Yuanli’s team members, naturally siding with their captain.

Besides, in their hearts, they believed Lin Mo wasn’t a good match for the attractive and capable Instructor Long.

Lin Mo’s lips curled into a faint smile. Their conversation seemed deliberately staged for him to hear.

...

Tatam Town, a major town in Myanmar, was already under the control of the Double Flood Dragon Gang.

This was the latest information Lu Yuanli had. The Double Flood Dragon Gang was formed by cultivators who controlled some underground forces in Thailand and Myanmar, thus the name. Its core was still those powerhouses, using the underground forces to help them seize wealth and things.

However, Lu Yuanli didn’t have information about the core members of the Double Flood Dragon Gang, only the areas where the outer members operated.

”Don’t cause us trouble later. I have no mind to take care of your safety. If you get hurt, it’ll be hard for me to explain to Instructor Long.” Lu Yuanli approached Lin Mo, stopped, and said in a low voice.

”I don’t need your care.” Lin Mo smiled faintly.

Lu Yuanli snorted softly. To him, Shangguan Liuyun’s courtesy towards Lin Mo was apparently due to Sima Zining’s grandfather, Long Aotian. As for Lin Mo, he couldn’t see anything impressive.

The group first drove to the border, which was all forest with no roads, so they abandoned the vehicles and ran towards Myanmar.

Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh...

Silhouettes darted between the trees.

”Hmm?”

Lu Yuanli noticed Lin Mo keeping pace with them, clearly a martial artist.

After roughly three hours, they reached Tatam Town, a major town near the border.

However, all five had changed into casual clothes. If they were found in combat uniforms, the Double Flood Dragon Gang would attack immediately.

Night fell, with a clear moon and scattered stars.

In the major town of Tatam, only a few places were brightly lit, with scantily clad women lingering, evidently the town’s golden cave.

”Let’s go check it out there. We might find Double Flood Dragon Gang members.” Lin Mo said, striding towards a bar with neon lights flashing.

”Hmph!”

Lu Yuanli snorted coldly, displeased with Lin Mo acting like the leader.

However, the four still followed Lin Mo into the bar.

The air was thick with smoke, a mix of strong, unpleasant odors, nothing like the upscale bars in their country.

”Hey handsome, buy me a drink?” Suddenly, a woman in a skimpy black lace top and flamboyant makeup staggered up with a drink, blocking Lin Mo’s path.

She spoke in Huaxia Language, due to the border area’s mix, it was normal they spoke some Huaxia Language.

She likely saw the appearance of Lin Mo and the others, assuming they were Huaxia people, thus approaching with Huaxia talk.

”No time.” Lin Mo replied coldly.

The woman, though dressed provocatively, was extremely unsightly.

”Looks like a pretty boy, gets hit on as soon as he enters a bar.” Lu Yuanli saw this and was utterly disdainful.

”Honey, someone’s bullying me...” Suddenly, the woman’s expression changed and she called out in another language, completely shedding her drunken look.

Though it wasn’t Huaxia Language, Lin Mo’s Divine Thought caught her words.

It seemed like she was setting a trap for him on purpose.
