Urban Powerhouse: Chaos Supreme

”Hmm?”

Shen Tong suddenly seemed to have thought of something, a flash of insight crossing his mind.

”I remember, last time I was attacked in the Fellings Mountains, those two people seemed to be wearing these black robes,” Shen Tong said, ”Maybe the two attackers were from Saint Carmen.”

”We should leave here first; the battle just now must have drawn the attention of those around us.”

Lin Mo frowned and said.

Although he wasn’t afraid of Saint Carmen, he didn’t want trouble here, wasting his time.

”Hmm.” Shen Tong nodded solemnly and, with Lin Mo, transformed into two rays of flowing light, flying through the forest, quickly heading east.

Shen Tong knew that whether news of killing a Saint Carmen disciple or the dark dealings within Saint Carmen were exposed, it would shake the Australian cultivation world.

It might even bring disaster to the Shen Family; Shen Tong had already decided he must not let this matter be outspread.

At the market entrance.

A group of people gazed into the dark distant forest, suddenly stunned.

”There was a strong battle fluctuation there just now”

”Yes, it should be a fight between powerful forces, we better not go there.”

”Gee, why did it end so quickly?”

”Yes, in less than a minute, the battle was over!”

Several strong individuals who had just exited the black market were whispering among themselves, while four Saint Carmen warriors inside the market transformed into four rays of flowing light, heading towards where the battle had occurred, for they knew what had happened.

When they arrived at the forest where the battle had been fought, looking at the corpses lying on the ground, the four of them simultaneously wore expressions of shock and seriousness.

At the market entrance, another group was just emerging from the market.

”Was there a battle in that area?” Huozi looked toward the eastern forest, frowning.

The air still held the fluctuation of spiritual energy and battle marks; anyone with a bit of ability could detect them.

”Seems so, but Saint Carmen people have already gone over, should be okay.” A woman standing beside him spoke calmly.

”Miss Shen, thank you for accompanying me to browse the market today.” Huozi looked at the tall woman in front of him, smiling elegantly.

”Mr. Huozi, you are still so polite with me.” Shen Zongwen smiled modestly.

At this moment, a bodyguard waiting at the door approached them—he was the one who had been tailing Lin Mo and Shen Tong before, but after they left, he didn’t follow them further and stayed at the entrance waiting for Huozi.

”Mr. Huozi, the two people you asked me to follow…” the bodyguard stood beside Huozi, seemed hesitant.

Huozi turned his head, staring at him, ”Just say it.”

”One of those two is Miss Shen,” the bodyguard said.

”Hmm?” Huozi frowned slightly.

The Shen Family was a prominent household among Melbourne’s Chinese community and also a cultivation family.

Similarly, the Karloko Family was a significant Australian family and a cultivator family as well.

The Shen Family had Shen Tong, a heavenly beauty, not only possessing looks that could charm a nation but also having talent in cultivation, the youngest among the Shen Family’s generation to step into the Foundation Establishment Stage.

The Karloko Family’s clan leader had brought Huozi for a visit before, hoping to arrange a marriage with the Shen Family, but then the Shen Family Patriarch hesitated, neither refusing nor agreeing.

However, Huozi had long considered Shen Tong his woman, and this was a well-known matter among the families of Australia.

”Shen Tong was at the market too, why didn’t she show herself just now?” Huozi smiled faintly, having pursued Shen Tong, knowing her proud nature, as beautiful, genius women often have such personalities.

Huozi wasn’t upset about it because only conquering such a woman would bring him a sense of achievement.

”A Huaxia man was with Miss Shen.” The bodyguard continued.

Upon hearing.

Huozi’s smile froze, his face tense, a glint of coldness flickering deep in his eyes.

”Walking with a Huaxia man?” Huozi clenched his fist, his voice laced with a cold undertone.

Shen Zongwen heard the bodyguard’s words, a barely noticeable smirk tugging at her lips.

Yesterday, Huozi began hearing rumors suggesting Shen Tong brought a Huaxia man to live at the family’s dwelling, and they even stayed in the same room. Huozi thought it nonsense then.

After all, Shen Tong was exceptionally outstanding, and there would be some jealous individuals spreading slanderous gossip about her; it was quite normal, knowing Shen Tong’s proud nature would certainly not mix with a man.

But today, the matter was seen with his own eyes, and his bodyguard wasn’t daring enough to deceive him.

”Who would’ve thought Shen Tong would be with him. I thought they were merely friends; it seems Shen Tong’s secrecy is commendable.” Shen Zongwen shook her head, an amused smile appearing on her face.

”Do you know who that man is?”

Huozi’s gaze was sharp, scrutinizing Shen Zongwen.

”Yesterday at our Shen Family, Shen Tong said he was just a friend.” Shen Zongwen deliberately elongated the word ’friend.’

”Damn, don’t let me see that person.”

Huozi’s face twisted with frustration; even though Shen Tong hadn’t agreed to marry him, in his heart, Shen Tong was already his woman; anyone daring to touch her would meet a dead end.

The Shen Family.

Inside Shen Tong’s room.

”You mean your Earth Rainbow Illusion Leaf was also found in the Fellings Mountains?”

Lin Mo asked with a furrowed brow.

They hadn’t found the purest attribute materials in the black market nor obtained an advanced entry ticket, thus had no reason to remain in Melbourne and prepared to return to Huaxia.

However, Lin Mo felt the Fellings Mountains that Shen Tong mentioned held something peculiar.

”Yes, found in the Fellings Mountains; that place often unveils special herbs and material stones. Many people go there to gather things, but fierce beasts frequently appear in the mountains, so people usually only explore the outskirts, not venturing into the heart.”

”Earth Rainbow Illusion Leaf only appears where spiritual energy with an earth attribute is abundant, yet Saint Carmen should be wealthy enough not to send people to the Fellings Mountains for things!”

Lin Mo frowned, perhaps needing to visit the Fellings Mountains to see if any pure attribute material for the earth element could be found.

”Do you want to go to the Fellings Mountains?” Shen Tong noticed Lin Mo’s expression, guessing his thoughts, and asked.

”Hmm, want to go and take a look.”

Lin Mo nodded. Shen Tong laughed, ”Frankly speaking, lately the Fellings Mountains have seemed unusual; several great forces of Australia have appeared around the Fellings Mountains; our Shen Family, Carrot Family, Saint Carmen people have almost sealed off the entire mountain range, as if something big is about to happen.”
