Urban Powerhouse: Chaos Supreme

As Li Yanzhen’s words spilled out, he still drew the long blade from within his robes, a crescent-shaped dagger roughly one meter long, entirely jet-black as if from the dark world itself, devoid of any gloss, giving off an oppressive and incredibly heavy sensation.

The moment the blade came out, the Gang Wind surged around, and murderous intents coalesced into the blade’s edge, crossing dozens of meters to slash towards Lin Mo.

Lin Mo clasped his fists, and brilliant golden light erupted from them, shattering all the incoming blade winds head-on.

”To die by the Black Water Autumn Blade is to die a blessed death. This blade has not tasted fresh blood in a long time,” Li Yanzhen spoke indifferently, the Black Water Autumn Blade in his hand shifting form, creating black Sword Marks in the air that almost cleaved the air into oblivion. As the Sword Light flickered, it displayed the full variations of the Sword Dao, ultimately, all the True Qi and Sword Energy converged to a point and viciously chopped down toward Lin Mo.

”Destruction Seal!” At the same time, Lin Mo held his fist, True Qi condensed on it, and he slammed it towards the blade edge.

A massive golden Punch Mark clashed with the blade mark, which had condensed into a line, producing a metallic collision sound, like a great bell sounding forth.

With the fist and the blade edge as the center, a circular white ring expanded for hundreds of meters. The tall trees that were touched by the white ring were instantly snapped, toppling in a flurry.

Lin Mo also felt an enormous pressure, as if bearing thousands of pounds, passing through his body to his feet. Centered around his soles, the concrete ground developed cracks like spiderwebs, which stretched out for dozens of meters, akin to the effects caused by an earthquake.

Those ordinary people, seeing the fight break out again in the Asakusa Society, couldn’t help but widen their eyes in awe.

”How can this be...” Astonishment filled Li Yanzhen’s eyes.

Lin Mo similarly furrowed his brows.

Li Yanzhen’s Black Water Autumn Blade had struck Lin Mo’s fist, but it hadn’t managed to even leave a small cut.

Li Yanzhen was extremely furious. Even a broken-down armored tank would be split open by his blade, but now, it couldn’t even shatter Lin Mo’s fist.

”Again.” Finally, a hint of solemnity appeared on Li Yanzhen’s face, and above that solemnity was an even more fervent fighting spirit.

He had originally thought that, although Lin Mo had killed Park Shiyou in a fierce battle, he himself must have been gravely injured. What he hadn’t expected was that Lin Mo was still so powerful, verging on the monstrous.

Li Yanzhen, speaking thus, approached with his sword in union; his entire being seemed to merge with the blade in his hand, becoming one with nature as he unleashed various sword techniques. To the observers, all they could see was a dark Sword Light roaming the hall.

Lin Mo’s fists, like golden raindrops, kept producing metallic collision sounds.

And the Asakusa Society, which had already suffered severe damage, was further ravaged by their fight; the ground collapsed, ancient trees fell, and black bricks and debris were shattered into dust by the wild powerful energy.

But the more Li Yanzhen fought, the more alarmed he became. Lin Mo’s True Qi seemed almost solid, his fists as tough as steel drills that sounded a metallic clang upon striking the blade.

Moreover, Lin Mo’s True Qi appeared inexhaustible, while Li Yanzhen, although he had stepped into the realm of the Sword God, reanimating his Blood Energy, was in actuality an old man in his eighties or nineties, and no vigor of Blood Energy could withstand the youthful vigor of a younger man.

”Take three more of my punches,” Lin Mo bellowed, excitement sparkling in his eyes.

”The first punch.”

Clasping his fist, Lin Mo struck like a meteor, so fast that the air itself seemed to detonate.

Li Yanzhen’s pupils shrank ever so slightly as he horizontally held his blade across his chest. He then smashed his fist onto the blade. It felt as though he was struck by a high-speed train, his feet dragging across the ground, leaving two trails tens of meters long. His blade trembled violently and almost flew out of his hands.

”How powerful is this strength?” Li Yanzhen’s face was filled with horror.

Although Lin Mo had previously fought with Park Shiyou, he had only used magic; there were no close-quarter brawls with his fists that stirred one’s blood. Lin Mo still harbored a fire inside, unable to find an outlet for his frustration, when unexpectedly Li Yanzhen appeared.

”The second punch.”

Before Li Yanzhen could recover from his shock, Lin Mo’s second punch came flying like a brilliant golden meteor.

The fist struck Black Water Autumn Blade again, and Miyamoto Musashi was sent flying dozens of meters back, slamming into a wall. The wall could not withstand the impact, fracturing in a web of hairline cracks.

At that moment, Li Yanzhen felt his blood roiling inside him and a faint sweet taste in his throat, his eyes completely filled with terror.

”There’s one more punch,” Lin Mo said, a smile curling at the corner of his mouth, as he clenched his fist and disappeared from the spot.

This time, Lin Mo’s power erupted to an almost ultimate extent. It seemed as if he wanted to shatter the heavens and earth with this punch. Although he moved too fast for the naked eye to catch, the air was filled with the sound of sonic booms.

”Extreme Blade Slash.” A brilliant light suddenly burst from Li Yanzhen’s eyes.

He couldn’t just sit and wait for death because Lin Mo’s punch made him feel a threat to his life.

Li Yanzhen gripped the handle of his blade, and in an instant, his aura transformed dramatically, becoming almost ethereal as if merging with nature itself. Whether it was his True Qi or his Martial Arts Will, it all concentrated into this strike.

Black Qiushui in his hands danced, cutting and crossing, the culmination of his decades of insight into the Sword Dao.

Finally, Li Yanzhen’s True Qi, Martial Arts Will, and swordsmanship merged into one, creating a crescent-shaped black sword mark as thin as cicada wings that sped towards Lin Mo. Lin Mo’s golden fist, becoming like a point of starlight, smashed into the black sword mark with annihilating power. A wave of energy spread out, and in just a moment, the black sword mark was shattered by the force of the fist, turning into wisps of black smoke that dissipated into the air.

And at that moment, Li Yanzhen turned and ran towards the entrance of the Asakusa Society, actually choosing to flee.

Three punches defeated the new generation Sword God—Li Yanzhen.

Lin Mo stood still, not giving chase.

”Master, why did you let him go?” Yingzi came over and asked with confusion.

”The Li Family actually dared to try to kill me, wait until I have time to personally pay them a visit,” Lin Mo said indifferently, ”Let’s go find a hotel to rest.”

To avoid causing trouble for Liu Yanlan, Lin Mo and Yingzi didn’t go to Chinatown but chose a random hotel to stay in.

Inside the room, Lin Mo sat cross-legged to recuperate. Despite not being injured from the battles with Park Shiyou and Li Yanzhen, the Sword Spirit within Xuanyuan Sword had devoured Soaring Snake, resulting in massive consumption, and now Xuanyuan Sword was Lin Mo’s Lifebound Treasure, nurtured within his body, feverishly absorbing his Primordial Energy.

Otherwise, with Lin Mo’s personality, he wouldn’t have let Li Yanzhen leave.

But this wasn’t of much importance. As long as Li Yanzhen was still in Han Country, Lin Mo would track him down.
