Urban Powerhouse: Chaos Supreme

Asakusa Society lies adjacent to Asakusa Temple but is isolated, open to the public only on July 14th each year for offering worship.

The entirety of Asakusa Society adopts wooden architecture, with ornate transoms and painted rafters, with two roughly thirty-foot-tall stone statues at the entrance, with heads of monkeys and bodies of snakes, looking quite strange.

At this time, a man and a woman stood at the entrance of Asakusa Society; they were Lin Mo and Yingzi.

”Asakusa Society is currently closed to the public, the two of you please leave,” an employee of Asakusa Society saw the two standing at the entrance, frowned, and stepped forward to speak.

Lin Mo looked at him and said indifferently, ”Is Park Shiyou inside?”

The employee of Asakusa Society’s face changed slightly as he chastised, ”The names of our Han Country’s divine entities are not for you to desecrate.”

”Oh? I also want to see if your Han Country really has any divine entities. Even if there are gods, I will slay them,” Lin Mo said as he waved his hand, and a giant wind blade shaped like a steel knife shot forth, rushing towards one of the stone statues at the entrance.

The Wind Blade sliced through, directly cleaving one of the monkey-headed snake statues into two pieces.

”You! You’re courting death!”

The raging fury on the employee’s face from within Asakusa Society was evident, but he entirely forgot the terror of Lin Mo’s methods, casually severing a thirty-foot-tall stone statue into two.

Lin Mo flicked his finger, and a burst of Finger Strength left a bloody hole in the employee’s forehead, and then he strode arrogantly into Asakusa Society.

Scores of Martial Artists wielding bloody long blades rapidly emerged from within Asakusa Society, eyeing Lin Mo with fierce gazes.

Someone dared to intrude inside Asakusa Society!

These Martial Artists were all approximately at the Martial Saint Level in Huaxia, and among them were even two Martial Artists nearly equal to Peak Martial Emperors. Combined, they were a super powerful force anywhere else, but here they were merely serving as gatekeepers for Park Shiyou.

”Damn it, kill them,” the leading Martial Artist shouted angrily as he saw the person who lay dead at the entrance and the smashed statue.

Dozens of people launched an assault, as Yingzi’s wrist vibrated while gripping the Nine Heavens Sword, sweeping out waves of purple-green sword light. The three Martial Artists before her were directly slain, while Lin Mo’s punches were like a dragon, sending anyone who got close flying away, with their Internal Organs shattered.

As Warrior after Warrior flew out, all dead, although these people possessed Martial Arts Will, they were ultimately mortals who didn’t wish to die in vain, and they retreated backward apprehensively.

”Park Shiyou, do you really want to watch your own men die one by one before showing yourself?” Lin Mo said coldly as he threw a punch, hitting a Martial Artist. The force pierced through chest to back, and the opponent died on the spot.

”Stop.”

At that moment, a man wearing a gown appropriate for a Heavenly Master with an ornate cap walked out, holding a folded fan in his hand, appearing to be around forty years old.

”May I ask who you are, and why you are causing trouble here?” The man furrowed his brows, his eyes filled with hidden anger as he looked at the fallen Martial Artists.

”Are you the manager of Asakusa Society?” Lin Mo looked at him and asked.

”I am Park Dongxu, the president of Asakusa Society. May I know who you are?”

”I’m Lin Mo. Ask Park Shiyou to come out,” Lin Mo said with his hands behind his back, his expression cold and indifferent.

Park Dongxu’s brows twitched slightly, and he snorted coldly, ”Lin Mo, I don’t know who you are, but a god’s name is not something you can defile. Kill them.”

The martial artists standing in the arena, however, seemed as if they hadn’t heard him, still stunned in place.

Frowning, Park Dongxu made hand seals, summoning strands of black fog. These strands of fog transformed into threads and flowed into the tops of the martial artists’ heads. From the moment the black fog entered their heads, all the martial artists’ eyes turned blood-red, filled with murderous intent.

”Those who dare to barge into Asakusa Society only deserve death.” After Park Dongxu spoke, those martial artists who had been previously intimidated once again rushed towards Lin Mo and Yingzi.

”Master, what is this?” Yingzi asked, furrowing her delicate brows.

”It’s similar to a soul control spell,” Lin Mo replied, and facing the martial artists who had lost their reason and were charging at him, he punched and sent two flying.

These people had been manipulated by magic, devoid of fear and apprehension, turned into nothing more than slaughter machines.

Watching Lin Mo and Yingzi send flying the charging martial artists, Park Dongxu’s face gradually took on a serious expression. Suddenly, he opened the folded fan in his hand, which was engraved with strange magical symbols, and those symbols began to emit tiny points of silver light.

”Bind!” Park Dongxu formed hand seals and uttered the command lightly.

The scattered points of silver starlight combined into a massive net and flew towards Lin Mo, enveloping him within it. The silver strands of the net tightly bound Lin Mo.

Seeing this, a smug look of composure appeared on Park Dongxu’s face.

The silver net seemed soft, but it was filled with tenacity and hardness comparable to steel; an ordinary person would definitely not be able to break free from it.

”Do you really think this will hold me?” Lin Mo shook his head and sighed.

”What?” Park Dongxu’s mouth gaped open, his face showing shock. Lin Mo gently struggled and the silver threads that had ensnared him broke off bit by bit, turning into scattered flecks of silver starlight that dissipated into the world.

The opponent’s mana was only at the level of a Half-step Martial God from Huaxia, and the spell he used had many flaws. Lin Mo could shatter it with just his physical body, without even needing to use his True Qi.

Park Dongxu’s face finally turned a shade paler, and the few dozen remaining martial artists had already collapsed to the ground, leaving him alone to face Lin Mo and Yingzi.

Biting the tip of his tongue, Park Dongxu suddenly placed the tips of his right-hand index and middle fingers near his lips, muttering ”Dreaming God.”

Suddenly, the sky and earth dramatically changed color; the entire perimeter of Asakusa Society was swept by a tempest, as black clouds obscured the sun. Thirty-eight golden light points lit up around the edge of Asakusa Society, and then these light points shot into the sky, forming an invisible barrier encompassing the entire Asakusa Society.

The black fog in the sky rolled and moved, carrying an extremely terrifying presence.

Lin Mo’s expression remained calm; Park Dongxu definitely didn’t possess such formidable strength. This power was the force of the Asakusa Society’s entire Array, and Park Dongxu was nothing more than the one holding the key, triggering this Array.

”Park Dongxu, stop it.” Just then, an elderly voice suddenly came from the main hall.

As the voice emerged, Park Dongxu’s hand seal movements slowed slightly, and the ’monster’ that was about to emerge from the black clouds also receded back into the layers of cloud.
