Urban Powerhouse: Chaos Supreme

New Russia Presidential Mansion.

A woman in military uniform, looking heroic and brisk, walked into the office, placed a document in front of President Ke and said solemnly, ”Mr. President, there were more than three hundred people arranged by Blood Prison within our military, and all of them have been eliminated. For now, there’s no movement from Russia.”

This President Ke, once a puppet under Blood Prison, had been wearing a smile for the past week. At last, Blood Prison had been eradicated, and power had once again been seized in their hands.

All this was thanks to that young man from Huaxia, from the bottom of his heart he thanked that Huaxia young man named Lin Mo.

”Alright, you may leave now.” President Ke waved his hand, the smile already clear on his face.

Eventually, President Ke’s gaze landed on the man sitting in front of him, dressed in military uniform, exuding an authoritative aura, Minister of Defense Jeff, and he sighed slightly, ”Jeff, do you think he might also have died?”

”It’s hard to say. He fought his way here, slashing down two of our Annihilation Fighters, but he himself might also be injured. Afterwards, he battled with the people from Blood Prison, no one saw it, no one knows what happened. He hasn’t shown himself for a whole week. Our people have been scouting the desert area and still haven’t found any trace of him,” Jeff, furrowing his brows, said in a deep voice.

A mix of respect and worry filled President Ke’s eyes. A week ago, that Huaxia superhuman had burst into their country, smashing Destruction Tanks with his fists, shattering fighter jets with the light from his punches, almost like a Heavenly God descending, unstoppable, and annihilating Blood Prison.

Having such a combatant, possessing superhuman abilities, would make any nation’s upper echelons anxious.

President Ke both respected and feared Lin Mo, ”By the way, as long as this gentleman doesn’t plan to hold us accountable, we better not pry into his affairs. Otherwise, if we anger him, we simply won’t be able to withstand him.” President Ke thought for a moment and then said with a serious demeanor.

”Yes, I will immediately recall all our scouts, leaving only a few on the desert borders to report any intelligence promptly to us.”

...

Meanwhile, inside a war command center in Russia.

Around the oval-shaped conference table sat twenty big shots who controlled the utmost power of the entire nation; in the meeting room, there were numerous photos of a seventeen or eighteen-year-old Huaxia youth along with various hazard annotations.

”It’s said that the Huaxia powerhouse named Lin Mo still hasn’t left New Russia. Did he perhaps reach some sort of cooperation agreement with them?”

”Whether he’s dead in New Russia or has struck some agreement with them, we can’t act rashly now.”

”Can’t our military forces kill him? Why should we be afraid of him?” a hot-tempered military officer said, somewhat unconvinced.

”Hmph, do you know how powerful his combat abilities are? Can our country’s military really stop him? Even if they could, what if he doesn’t confront us openly and instead chooses to assassinate us? Who could stop him then?” another person said, his face grim.

That comment silenced everyone.

Able to destroy Annihilation Fighters, surpassing the strength of a Half-step Martial God—if he truly planned an assassination of someone present here, probably very few could withstand him.

The man sitting at the head of the table, his eyes flickering sharply, said coldly, ”According to information, he only sought revenge against Blood Prison and holds no grudge against us. Everyone just needs to stay alert, and regarding his information, every officer of lieutenant level and above must have a copy on hand, so we don’t inadvertently provoke this Huaxia youth!”

...

Huaxia, domestically, inside a modern commercial building’s news center.

In the simplistic office space, a woman in a brown sweater, hair tied back in a ponytail, was holding a cup of coffee gently taking a sip, her gaze fixed on the laptop in front of her.

Half a month ago, she had returned from New Russia and posted the photos on her microblog, instantly triggering a trend. Her own microblog’s followers had surged from a few hundred to five hundred thousand.

”Sigh.” Staring at the photo on her laptop, the woman let out a gentle sigh.

This woman was Qingzhu, a journalism postgraduate from Shanghai, who had applied to one of the top three national media companies after returning.

”I wonder how he is doing now?” Qingzhu opened the comments below, her face showing some worry as she couldn’t help but recall the cold, outstanding youth.

When she uploaded the photo to Weibo, it temporarily surpassed the popularity of several hot celebrity events, although the opinions of netizens were mixed.

”This photo looks photoshopped, how could someone overthrow a tank with their fist?”

”Yeah, and destroy a fighter jet too, is this some kind of sci-fi movie?”

”Please, if you want to hype yourself up as an internet celebrity, then upload some videos.”

”It’s too blurry to see the person clearly, it’s definitely a publicity stunt, end of story.”

”Oh my, there really are superhumans in the world, and they’re from Huaxia, hahaha, it’s not just the United States that has superheroes, Huaxia does too.”

”Awesome, someone taking on the military alone, this has got to be real, who would use so many soldiers, fighter jets, tanks for a movie, it’s too realistic.”

Qingzhu closed the webpage, a bitter smile on her beautiful face as the image of that distinctively handsome youth surfaced in her mind again.

…

In the Emperor’s Sky Group.

The Dragon Emperor sat in his office chair, a cup of premium pre-rain Longjing tea on the table. He sighed lightly; the tea had already cooled, but he hadn’t taken a single sip.

Just then, Mystic King walked in and said, ”Lord Dragon Emperor!”

”Hmm, is there any news of Lin Mo?” The Dragon Emperor immediately sat up straight, his eyes flashing with sharpness.

Mystic King shook his head and said, ”Our contacts in Russia’s Sky Group reported that they haven’t found any news about Mr. Lin yet.”

”Keep searching, a prodigious person like him definitely won’t die at the hands of Blood Prison.” The Dragon Emperor’s demeanor was filled with imposing authority as he spoke solemnly.

”Yes, I absolutely refuse to believe that Mr. Lin is dead. He is, after all, a hero and young pillar of Huaxia!” Mystic King solemnly expressed his conviction.

At the Yang Family, when Yang Chuxue lost contact with Lin Mo and learned that he had gone to New Russia and then disappeared for a whole week, her heart was filled with immense worry.

Xia Mengdie, on the other hand, comforted her, ”Aunt Yang, Lin Mo couldn’t possibly be in trouble. I believe he will safely return to see us.”

Yang Chuxue nodded her head but the sorrow in her heart still lingered; though Xia Mengdie wasn’t very worried, she deeply missed Lin Mo.

On the training ground of Shanghai’s Sky Group, a new member who had joined the group watched curiously at a striking woman in the distance and asked his colleague, ”Brother Yang, I’ve been in the army for a month now, and every day I see Squad Leader Zi Ning training fiercely, more diligently than anyone, but why hasn’t she been training these past few days?”

The youth known as Brother Yang revealed a bitter smile and said, ”Squad Leader Zi Ning might be in a bad mood.”

”Is it because the highly revered Chief Instructor Lin Mo, whom you all admire, has died?”

”He...he’ll never die.” Brother Yang clenched his fist, admiration gleaming in his eyes, ”He’s a powerful person. If you had come to our Shanghai Sky Group sooner, you would have realized just how strong he was.”

Not far away, Sima Zining clenched her fists, her gaze filled with deep yearning as she looked into the distance, saying, ”Lin Mo, you must not die. I’m currently striving hard in my cultivation, and one day I will surpass you, defeat you, even if you are the Chief Instructor of Sky Group!”

Although Lin Mo had annihilated Blood Prison in New Russia and single-handedly dominated an entire country—albeit a small one—it was still the power of a nation, and he was just one person.

Many who knew Lin Mo, upon receiving the news of his disappearance, were in immense pain!

No one knew whether he was alive or dead, or where he might have gone.
