Urban Powerhouse: Chaos Supreme

”Oh?”

Lin Mo looked at him with interest, his expression playful, ”I’m curious to see how you plan to kill me.”

”Hehe! Kid, there are many ways to play you to death.”

”Conveniently, today I’m quite free and very interested, so I’ll gladly play along with you.”

Shen Hao stared at Lin Mo, his voice filled with an icy chill.

In his eyes, Lin Mo was nothing but an ignorant greenhorn.

The Shen Family, one of the top ten families in the Imperial City, ranked last, but the family’s energy was not something ordinary people could afford to provoke.

And today, they had encountered such a recklessly arrogant young man.

Shen Hao found it very amusing.

No sooner had he finished speaking than Shen Hao waved to two men outside the door.

At this signal, the two men who had been standing by the door immediately walked inside.

The two men were muscular and their eyes were sharp, with a danger about them as if swords ready to be unsheathed at any moment.

”Mr. Shen.”

The two bowed slightly to Shen Hao with respect audible in their voice, but their faces were devoid of any expression.

They were like robots, lacking significant emotion.

Then, Shen Hao looked at Lin Mo and said with a playful tone,

”Kid, now, I’m giving you one last chance.”

”These two bodyguards were recruited from the Death Arena in the U.S.”

”You might not know what the Death Arena is, let me enlighten you.”

”These two have killed at least a hundred polar bears, saber-toothed tigers, and Northern Wild Wolves with their own hands while in the Death Arena!”

What?

Hearing this, a chill went down the spines of many present, no wonder the two men emitted such a strong scent of blood and murder upon entering.

Shen Hao said coldly,

”How about that? Kid, are you scared now?”

Lin Mo shrugged, ”Are you done talking nonsense?”

”Scoundrel!”

Shen Hao’s expression turned frosty, and he waved at the two bodyguards, ”As he wishes, cripple him!”

At his words, the two bodyguards nodded mechanically, then started walking step by step toward Lin Mo.

With every step they took, it was as if the ground trembled.

Furthermore, the entire atmosphere seemed to drop a notch.

Seeing this, Peng Aoping’s face lit up with even greater smugness,

”Kid, these two bodyguards cost my husband two billion to hire. Although they’re not the top bodyguards of the Shen Family, squashing an arrogant fool like you is no different than stepping on an ant.”

Lin Mo cast a glance at the two bodyguards and shook his head, ”Two billion for two pieces of trash?”

Hearing this, the two normally robotic bodyguards’ expressions suddenly turned cold.

”Die!”

The two bodyguards dispensed with any further words and then charged ferociously toward Lin Mo.

Since they were close to Lin Mo, the bodyguards didn’t bother with any techniques, but simply raised their fists and smashed down fiercely at him.

Those seemingly simple punches were actually trailed by afterimages, and even the air seemed to tear.

The onlookers gaped at this scene, filled with fear.

If those punches landed on Lin Mo, it was likely his head would be smashed to pieces.

However, in the next second, everyone’s eyes bulged in shock.

Lin Mo’s hands had effortlessly caught the punches of the two bodyguards.

Everyone was somewhat incredulous, especially Shen Hao. Those two bodyguards were experts he had paid two hundred million for, yet they were so easily captured by Lin Mo?

What was even more unbelievable was that Lin Mo, holding their fists, twisted them as easily as one would a twisted dough strip.

Crack crack crack!!

Under the enormous pressure of tens of thousands of pounds, the fists of the two bodyguards were instantly reduced to bone and flesh, shattered beyond recognition.

”What... what?” Shen Hao’s eyes widened in sheer terror.

As for Peng Aoping, it was as if she had seen a ghost.

Lin Mo, however, casually dusted off his hands and looked at the two with a cold expression,

”Any other tricks up your sleeve? If not, break your own arms and scram!”

Shen Hao snorted coldly and said,

”Kid, you’re too naive. You think you can make us break our own arms? Do you think you’ve got one of the top five families of Imperial City backing you up?”

”Even if these two bodyguards are no match for you, I, Shen Hao, still have countless ways to make you a cripple!”

At that moment, three or four patrolling cops, seeing a crowd gathered inside the shop, immediately walked in.

When the leading cop saw Shen Hao, he immediately asked respectfully,

”Mr. Shen, what happened?”

Seeing these three or four cops, Shen Hao immediately huffed,

”The public security management of your jurisdiction is getting worse and worse.”

Hearing this, the leading cop’s face showed embarrassment and he said, ”Mr. Shen, may I know what trouble you’ve encountered? Whatever it is, we’ll help you resolve it.”

Shen Hao nodded slightly, then with a grim look, pointed at Lin Mo and said,

”This brat not only injured my two bodyguards but also assaulted my wife.”

”What?”

The cops looked at each other. The leading cop then coldly regarded Lin Mo,

”During broad daylight, to dare commit such outrageous acts, you deserve to die!”

Then, the leading cop ordered Lin Mo with a cold voice,

”Kid, hands on your head and kneel down immediately.”

Lin Mo stood with his hands behind his back, his face expressionless, ”What if I refuse?”

”You bastard, do you really want to oppose us?”

”This is your last warning, put your hands on your head and kneel down immediately, or don’t blame us for not being polite.”

The leading cop stared at Lin Mo, his expression growing colder by the second.

Then, they reached for the batons they carried and moved to strike at Lin Mo.

Lin Mo glanced at them coldly, then with a swift movement, he slapped them several times across the face.

Slap slap slap!

The crisp sounds rang out. The cops were knocked backward, writhing in agony, and began to scream pitifully.

Lin Mo coldly swept his gaze over them and said indifferently,

”If you don’t learn your lesson, you really think too highly of yourselves.”

The leading cop spat out a mouthful of blood, then with a struggle, he got up and pointed at Lin Mo, shouting,

”You dare to assault the police, you’re finished!”

With that, he immediately took out his phone and made a call.

Soon, several police cars stopped at the entrance.

Two or three dozen cops holding real guns rushed quickly inside.

The moment they burst in, they nearly encircled Lin Mo on the spot.

(I admit the updates have been a bit late and slow, and the plot might be lacking, but please don’t casually insult people. The storyline might be a bit flat for the next few days, but after dealing with Lu Gucheng, the climax is coming soon.)
