Reincarnated as the Final Villain's Vessel

In the middle of the dark void beneath the earth, the only source of light was the crimson stars around Alicia... lighting it up and driving the dark shadows away.

This was the place where the Void System’s base had been, and now nothing was left but silence... no complex structures and no captive monsters... and most importantly, no humans.

Everything had been erased and turned into nothing.

Even so, neither of the two Kings was fighting with everything they had... each of them carried an obstacle that kept them from unleashing their powers.

For Alicia it was Caius, and for Medirin it was the environment around her, empty of life and blood... and her niece’s ability too.

As someone whose ability and even her principles revolved around blood and the body, it wasn’t her luck to face an ability that could erase matter itself.

More than that, it even stopped her from affecting her own body and Caius’s body from a distance.

In the middle of the silent void, the sound of the earth cracking echoed, followed by the loud tearing of the wind. What was left of the fragile ceiling above them collapsed and the massive rocks fell down, letting strands of moonlight slip into the dark void.

In between that, the two women looked at each other... each carrying her own thoughts.

But the Kings weren’t the only ones here.

’Just let this madness end, someone please get me out of this’ Caius thought as he floated in the air while Alicia stood in front of him, wrapping him in her power, keeping any of Medirin’s effects from reaching him.

He only wished Alicia would send him far away at that moment... but that might let Medirin kill him, so in this situation the only thing he could do was stay silent as he watched the destruction around him.

”Hmm... what a bad day for me.” Medirin’s words echoed in the void between the howling of the falling rocks.

At that moment, Alicia felt her blood boiling, before her power flowed and that effect faded, but in this small, imperceptible fraction of time, the world itself changed around her.

The darkness was replaced by the dark red liquid filling the whole void, whether it was the rocks falling down or the moonlight slipping in through the cracks, all of it vanished under the pulsing red.

’This is too much’ The huge flood attacked toward Alicia from every direction and surrounded her and Caius.

In this situation she knew that if a single drop managed to slip inside them and mix with their blood, the scales would tip.

She raised her hand, extending two fingers and cutting horizontally through the air.

A single crimson cut the width of a hair split the liquid and cut space itself, targeting Medirin on the other side, which Alicia couldn’t see.

The waves of blood struck Alicia and Caius without touching them. Around them a crimson cover formed that erased everything that tried to come close and broke it apart, but behind them the walls of this void didn’t survive and shattered with every second.

On the other side, Medirin couldn’t completely dodge Alicia’s attack as it passed through both her feet, separating them from the rest of her body.

She watched her limbs separate from her and break apart, but the next moment they regenerated and went back to how they were, this time missing part of her dress and even her shoes.

”What a bitch you are.” she muttered, her voice drowning in the loud noise.

Another cut passed through the place where she stood and severed her arm, but Medirin didn’t care... her body regenerated in an instant. As long as a single drop of blood from her body existed, the Pillar of Blood wouldn’t die.

In front of her, she felt every drop... how it multiplied and obeyed her command, how her blood was stronger than the hardest metals, and softer than liquid steel

The moment the third crimson line passed, the liquid wrapped around Medirin as she vanished into it, leaving the cut to pass through the void and carve kilometers into the earth.

In the middle of the endless tide, the crimson aura around Alicia shone, keeping any drop from touching them, but not a person.

At that moment, Medirin’s pale hand reached out as it touched the crimson aura, trying to pass through it. The skin on her arm broke apart and regenerated at the same time, striking the balance between existence and non-existence.

’This isn’t her copy’ When Alicia realized this fact, she focused as she drew a single cut from this small distance... as if time itself had stopped, the line passed along Medirin’s arm all the way to her neck.

But as if her body itself was made of this liquid, Medirin melted and faded... at the same time, in the middle of the void, another hand appeared from the side reaching toward Caius, whose eyes looked frozen in place, unable to keep up with this dimension of movement.

Another cut tore Medirin’s limb and turned it to dust, only for her to appear again and again, and again... it looked like thousands of pale hands reaching out from the endless red liquid, trying to tear the crimson aura around them.

And in this world of blood, the laws of space themselves were blocked, which kept Alicia from moving outside this place and she was stuck in a spiral of defense and attack against Medirin

...

Between the jagged white peaks, the cold wind blew, carrying pieces of snow with it while the moonlight poured down and reflected off the frozen rocks.

But unlike what a cold, quiet night was supposed to be, the ground shook without stopping and the avalanches raced from the far peaks toward the valley separating them.

There, a massive break formed in the ground, enough to hide a mountain. The red blood poured out, widening that pit with every moment.

The moonlight’s reflection made the surface of the liquid pulse with life as if the earth itself was bleeding today, and from the middle of that, a small gap tore open and crimson light came out of it, distorting the darkness of the night.

Alicia appeared with Caius beside her, both wrapped in the crimson aura, but the red expanse refused to leave them and rose from the shattered ground toward the empty sky.

It rose and rose following Alicia, hundreds of meters that turned into kilometers, all this space vanished under the sticky liquid.

Whether it was the white snow or the sharp rock masses, everything was blotted out, and in the middle of all that a crimson cut the width of a hair formed, one after another, going beyond the concept of space itself.

It didn’t target the vast expanse of blood, instead what was inside it. There in the middle of it, hidden, waiting for the slightest chance to get past her defense.

At the same time, the crimson energy flowed and gathered into a single point in front of Alicia, a point smaller than a human fingernail, and brighter than the stars.

In the void under the black sky, Alicia was surrounded again from every direction, Medirin’s voice echoing across the world. ”I’ll make your death uglier than your parents’, little Alicia.”

Medirin thought she’d get the slightest reaction, but her niece just muttered, ”... Like I care.”

That surprised Medirin a little, as a single line separated her neck from her body and kept going forward to pass through the peak of the distant mountain.

The fight went on while the stars vanished under the expanse of blood that had become higher than the jagged mountains.

And while Alicia was focused on Medirin, a hand tore the space around her as it came out between her and Caius, wrapped in a gray sleeve....

Her eyes widened as she saw the hand about to take Caius, at the same time Medirin pressed on her from the other side.

Her thoughts sped up and the cut passed through the envoy’s remaining arm... centimeters away from the frozen Caius, at the same time Medirin broke through Alicia’s defense for the first time.

Her pale white hand reached to her neck and dug her nails into it, a small, unimportant wound formed on her slender neck before Medirin’s arm was surrounded by the crimson aura and faded.

Alicia clenched her teeth, feeling something invade her body and flow through every inch of her.

She manipulated her power inside her body with impossible precision, but the effect spread to her mind, and made her thoughts slower... in that moment of weakness, her eyes dimmed for a moment as she held the wound on her neck.

At the same time, the smile rose on Medirin’s face as the sea of blood pounced on its prey from every direction stronger than ever before... making the barrier around them tremble and waver.

At that moment, the crimson point in front of Alicia reacted... a small point, unseen in this chaos.

At an illogical speed, it expanded and shone like a small star about to be born under the night sky.

At the same time, a faint mutter escaped her lips.

”Dawn of Creation.”
