Reincarnated as the Final Villain's Vessel

Beneath layers of rock and natural soil stretching for hundreds of meters, the massive structure of the shelter branched out, with tunnels and passageways connecting its different sections.

Like every other day, thousands of people moved throughout the facility, carrying out their duties. Whether they were the soldiers and forces undergoing intensive training, the scientists and researchers continuing their experiments, or even the simplest people responsible for daily affairs.

They all shared one thing... the Blood Faction.

And each of them was there for a reason... escaping the law, seeking power, or even simply because they had been born here.

So, like every other day, life continued as usual... until they heard it.

A sharp, intermittent whistling sound... Throughout the corridors, laboratories, and rooms, the lights flashed as the alarm grew louder and louder.

Everyone raised their heads and stopped what they were doing... Those who had been asleep woke in panic as ominous words echoed through the loudspeakers everywhere.

[ Protocol 0: Full Evacuation. ]

[ Protocol 0: Full Evacuation. ]

The announcement repeated without end as people began to understand what they were supposed to do... but they still didn’t understand what was happening.

But in the next moment, before any of them could move, the ground and solid walls shook violently, as if a massive earthquake were passing through the facility, while a loud boom echoed from the lower floors.

The first to witness it were the people training in the lower arena.

For them, everything had begun two minutes earlier, when they felt the pressure coming from the observation room overlooking the arena, followed by cracks spreading across the dark glass... the very place where their leader had always watched them from.

At that moment, every dispute came to a halt. Then, as soon as the alarm sounded, the glass that had prevented them from seeing what was happening shattered.

In that instant, they wished the room had remained hidden from their eyes.

None of those present were weak. They were all Rank 3 or Rank 4... even the supervisors were Rank 5, yet none of them reacted in time.

The red liquid surged forward, consuming the shattered glass suspended in the air, then the concrete, the walls, and the arena itself in a single instant.

Defying all logic, the blood consumed everything, including dozens of people... before even a single scream could escape them.

And before it engulfed everything, the Envoy appeared with only one hand remaining, space distorting around him, along with dozens of other people, only to disappear from the place, leaving many people behind... people whose fates had already been decided before they even realized it.

Death.

But before the red liquid could swallow every inch of the hall, crimson light shone from the center of everything and expanded... expanding until it engulfed everything around it.

The submerged walls, the equipment, and even the people... everything turned into nothing, consumed by the crimson radiance.

But even the light faded, revealing the new landscape.

Where rooms and corridors should have been, a void hundreds of meters wide had formed... there was no rubble or dust, only the distant remains of walls and the ceiling beginning to collapse after losing the support that had kept them in place.

The deafening sounds of falling steel and concrete echoed as they raised clouds of dust.

”You truly always exceed expectations... You may not know this, but I always wished I had killed you that day along with your Parents. ”

Medirin stood in the air, her eyes fixed on Alicia, replacing every trace of gentleness with pure rage.

The latter floated in the air as well, a calm expression resting on her beautiful face.

”I know...”

Behind her, Caius lowered the arms he had raised in front of his face, with only one thought in his mind.

’That was terrifying.’

Without wasting a single moment, Medirin raised her hand, and a small wound formed on the tip of one finger, tiny drops of blood... her own blood... seeping from it.

Then, with a single horizontal slash, the air was torn apart, and a line of red liquid formed, covering the entire area as it shot toward Alicia, threatening to erase everything in its path.

But the latter raised her hand as crimson light gathered before her. At the same moment the slash reached her, part of it broke apart and vanished the instant it touched the crimson aura, while the remainder continued past her on both the left and the right.

The area shook, and debris rained down as Medirin’s attack destroyed another hundreds of meters of the structure without leaving so much as a scratch on Alicia... or so it seemed.

At that moment, a tiny red drop clung to Alicia’s hand. For an instant, it seemed like nothing, but in the next moment it split hundreds of times as it crawled up her arm, as though driven by an overwhelming desire to devour her.

’Hmm... It’s difficult to fight like this.’

She thought as crimson energy shone around her, consuming the blood on her arm and revealing the uninjured skin beneath... only a portion of her clothes had disappeared.

No matter how Alicia looked at it, this situation was not good for her. She couldn’t move or attack freely with Caius behind her... After all, a single moment of distraction would be enough for Medirin to influence his blood without even getting close to him.

At the same time, fleeing wasn’t a useful idea... Yes, this place had already been exposed, but the moment she turned her head, it would be evacuated and destroyed... and more importantly, Medirin would disappear once again without a trace... and she didn’t want that.

But what truly made her decide not to leave was that Medirin, the Blood Pillar, wasn’t fighting in the best possible environment...

Even without looking, she knew that everyone in the facility had already begun evacuating, and that hundreds had already died from the exchange that had lasted only a few seconds.

And this was only the beginning...

Another wave of blood surged forward and swept across the entire area, but this time Alicia didn’t limit herself to defending.

The crimson aura gathered into a tiny point before her, then in the next instant it exploded against the wall of blood... the world was filled with crimson radiance mixed with the sharp metallic scent.

At the same time, before the attack faded, another crimson point formed, then another... In a single instant, Alicia created dozens of tiny stars around herself.

In the next moment, Medirin closed to within a few inches of her, reaching out with her hand, only for one of the stars to fly from Alicia’s side and pierce straight through her chest, leaving a massive hole in her body.

But Medirin’s expression didn’t change. Instead, her body exploded into a bloody mist that filled the air and surged toward Alicia and Caius, who had already vanished from their previous position, reappearing hundreds of meters away with the crimson stars surrounding them.

The moment they appeared in the new location, blood rose beneath them in a massive pillar, and Medirin appeared once again, this time behind Alicia... more precisely, beside Caius, reaching her hand toward him... But to him, everything was happening so fast that neither his eyes nor his mind could keep up.

Before the Blood Pillar’s hand could touch him, another crimson star was already before her, piercing into her body before exploding into a wave of light that swept away everything except Alicia and Caius... even the enormous mass of rising blood wasn’t spared.

At the same time, several stars shot away from Alicia in every direction... above and below, left and right, and every other point around her, exploding and erasing everything around them without a single sound... only the blinding light could be seen.

The dust, the remains of steel and concrete, the blood multiplying and reproducing every moment, and everything else... all of it was erased, revealing destruction at its finest.

A massive void nearly two kilometers in diameter had formed, while the base had become nothing more than tiny remnants of rubble along the edge of the enormous crater.

Every sign of life disappeared, as did everything that had illuminated the place... only the crimson radiance drove back the darkness around Alicia.

At the same time, Medirin stood dozens of meters away from Caius and her niece, completely unharmed and without a single scratch.

She looked around, up and down, seeing the base that had been erased from existence in mere moments... and who knew how many people had died here, or how many the Envoy had managed to evacuate.

Medirin turned her gaze back to Alicia, her voice cutting through the dark void.

”I think you’ll have to pay the price for this, my dear niece.”
