Flash Marriage: Pampered by Mr.Bigshot

Chapter 1190: Chapter 1189: Shirley Grant, If You Love Me Why Let Me Go?

Besides, Shirley Grant really did take the money.

A woman with that kind of faction could never be worthy of Alan Morgan, she could never climb up to the Morgan Family.

”She was the one who insisted on leaving back then; she was so magnanimous she let you go, so why can’t you just move on?”

Alan’s mother raised her voice, extremely angry; this son of hers was far too disappointing.

Gerry Peary sat on the hospital bed, looking blankly at the two people over there.

”Daddy.”

He called out again, soft and milky, going straight into one’s heart.

Alan Morgan didn’t look at his mother; he bypassed her and walked straight to Gerry Peary.

”Mm, Daddy’s right here.”

Gerry Peary nodded and bit his lip.

”Daddy, are you talking about Mommy?”

Mommy wasn’t at all like Grandma said; Mommy was very good.

”Daddy, do you all think Mommy is really bad?”

Even though Mommy had abandoned him, he felt that Mommy must have had a reason for leaving.

”How could Mommy be bad, hmm? Gerry’s mommy is the best, she’s the best woman in the whole world.”

Hearing this, Gerry immediately broke into a grin and nodded hard.

”That’s right, Mommy is really good. Mommy really likes Daddy, and really likes Gerry too.”

Gerry sat on the bed smiling, his eyes full of innocence.

”Really? Mommy really likes Daddy?”

Did Shirley Grant like him?

If she did, how could she have done something like that?

”Of course. Mommy said before that when Gerry was still in her tummy, they already found out he was sick, but Mommy still chose to give birth to Gerry. Mommy said Gerry was the best gift Daddy ever gave her.”

Gerry’s face was all smiles; every time he thought of these things, no matter how bitter the medicine was, he could swallow it.

No matter what anyone said about him, he was Mommy’s favorite little treasure.

”The best...gift?”

Alan Morgan could hardly believe what Gerry was saying, but a seven-year-old child couldn’t possibly be lying.

Looking at that innocent little face, Alan felt powerless for the first time in his life.

Shirley Grant...

This woman was once again slowly becoming his pain.

Why did she have to run away?

Did she really have no faith in him?

Why didn’t she wait for him—wait for him to save her?

It suddenly occurred to him that maybe Shirley Grant didn’t know he’d lost his memory; maybe she had waited, waited through countless days and nights, and never waited him back...

”Yeah, back then Gerry even secretly said bad things about Daddy, but every time Mommy found out, she would give Gerry a huge scolding. Mommy never loses her temper, but if someone says anything bad about Gerry’s Daddy, she’ll definitely shout really, really loud!”

Mommy back then was so fierce.

Gerry told Alan everything he could remember, one thing after another.

Without realizing it, Alan’s face was already streaked with tears.

How could it be like this?

If Shirley Grant really liked him, why did she break off the engagement back then?

Just one more day and they would have been married, wouldn’t they?

”Then...did Mommy ever say why she didn’t stay together with Gerry’s Daddy?”

After hearing this question, Gerry tried hard to think for a long time.

In the end, he still shook his head.

”I don’t remember if Mommy ever said anything about that.”

As he said it, Gerry looked very dejected.

What should he do, he couldn’t answer Daddy’s question—would Daddy get mad?

Thinking of this, he immediately glanced up at Alan Morgan, cautious and nervous.

”Daddy, will you stop liking Gerry?”
