Flash Marriage: Pampered by Mr.Bigshot

Chapter 1162: Chapter 1161: I Believe He Will Come Back

A nap is quite a torment for someone who just woke up not long ago.

Nia Mitchell pouted while looking at the CEO lying beside her. It’s just...

She can’t sleep.

So, she sneaked out of bed and left the main bedroom.

”Ma’am.”

Frederick Goldsmith saw her appear downstairs and felt a bit strange.

”Everyone’s taking a nap. It’s the perfect time for me to visit the hospital and see Fiona Sutton.”

Nia Mitchell spoke and then left the villa on the hillside.

Hospital—

Fiona Sutton was sitting on the hospital bed, holding a book in her hands, reading.

Nia Mitchell pushed the door open and looked at her being so calm.

This calm demeanor of Fiona Sutton was such a big change, she almost didn’t recognize her.

”How come you have time to come over at this hour?”

Fiona Sutton felt a bit strange as it was Saturday and only around one in the afternoon.

Nia Mitchell smiled and walked up to her.

”I happened to have some free time, so I came to see you. How are you feeling now?”

Looking around, she didn’t see Yancy Hastings’ mom.

”Pretty good, although I threw up the food I had past eleven. Auntie said she’s going home to fetch some chicken soup for me.”

Fiona Sutton watched Nia Mitchell’s actions and knew what she was thinking.

Just as she finished speaking, she saw Yancy Hastings’ mom come in from outside, carrying a thermos.

”Miss Mitchell’s here, huh?”

Yancy Hastings’ mom froze for a moment, also not expecting Nia Mitchell to come over at this time.

”Yes, hello Auntie.”

Yancy Hastings’ mom smiled and came over, serving a bowl of chicken soup for Fiona Sutton.

”Miss Mitchell, why don’t you have some too? Look at how skinny you are. For a woman, the most important thing is to take care of your health, otherwise you will regret it later.”

As she spoke, Yancy Hastings’ mom also served a bowl of chicken soup for Nia Mitchell.

Nia Mitchell stared blankly at the chicken soup in front of her and reached out to take it.

”Thank you.”

Having received such warmth only from Uncle Peary, she had never been cared for by strangers,

especially by someone of this age.

In an instant, she felt as if she saw her own mother.

”Chicken soup should be drunk while it’s hot, otherwise it won’t taste good.”

Yancy Hastings’ mom smiled and then walked over to Fiona Sutton with the chicken soup.

”Thank you, Auntie.”

Fiona Sutton smiled and took the chicken soup.

”Alright, you guys stay here and drink up. I just happen to need to go down and buy something.”

These two must have things to say, and her presence surely makes them uncomfortable.

After saying this, Yancy Hastings’ mom left the room.

”You look much better now.”

Nia Mitchell looked at Fiona Sutton, happy that she was getting healthier.

”Yes, Yancy Hastings has a good mom. She takes good care of me, although sometimes I feel really sad.”

If she had agreed to Yancy Hastings back then, would things be different now?

If Yancy Hastings hadn’t gone on that mission back then, would things be different now too?

”Nia, I’ve been dreaming a lot lately, dreaming that Yancy Hastings isn’t dead, he’s just trapped. He’s so capable, solving these problems is just a matter of time. Maybe one day he’ll suddenly stand in front of me, smiling at me and loudly saying, now he’s even more responsible.”

Sadly, these scenes only appear in dreams.

Wearing a military uniform, looking dashing, though his skin is a bit sun-tanned, though he’s quite macho.

But...

Him being alive is God’s greatest gift.

But now...

Everything is just a dream.

”Fiona, you can go out for a stroll when you’re free, don’t just stay in the ward thinking wildly.”
