Flash Marriage: Pampered by Mr.Bigshot

Chapter 1115: Chapter 1114: Does Yancy Hastings Have Someone He Likes?

Fiona Sutton nodded, in that case, she wouldn’t ask.

Watching the IV drip fall drop by drop, she waited intently.

”Yancy Hastings... did he have anyone he liked?”

Yancy’s mom was taken aback!

Looking at Fiona Sutton, she knew she was overthinking.

But Yancy Hastings was already gone; talking about this now was pointless.

”Him? His biggest interest was all kinds of guns and explosives. Sometime, you should check out his room, it’s packed with models—all guns of various types.”

Fiona Sutton listened and smiled.

Thinking of Yancy Hastings, she just knew that someone like him would probably only love such things.

A military man indeed!

”He joined the army when he was very young, climbed up step by step from the very bottom, and eventually passed the assessment into the Special Forces Unit. He never came home for holidays, just stayed alone in the unit. Even the old man often said to him, burying himself among all those men, what future could he have?”

Whenever Yancy’s mom thought of the past, it was full of bitterness.

She yearned for grandchildren, but Yancy Hastings was stubborn.

”Looking back, yes, he was too macho.”

For a man like this, being rooted in the army seemed the most natural thing.

”Yes, yes, I often told him, but it was useless. I used to say, come back more often to see us, we’re getting old, living one day less each day, but he just wouldn’t, and now...”

White-haired people sending off black-haired ones.

This kind of pain had already taken root deep in her heart, whenever she remembered, it was unbearable.

She wiped her flowing tears.

”Auntie, please don’t be sad. It’s my fault, I shouldn’t have brought this up.”

She shouldn’t have mentioned Yancy Hastings, and now Yancy’s mom was crying again.

”It’s okay, don’t blame yourself, child, don’t blame yourself, he’s the one who was unlucky.”

It was his own choice.

If back then he hadn’t resolutely joined the Special Forces Unit, talking about fighting for the country, risking his life, he wouldn’t have...

Fiona Sutton took out a tissue and handed it to Yancy’s mom, her eyes also reddened a bit.

Seeing her low spirits, Yancy’s mom immediately changed the subject.

”Alright, alright, let’s not talk about these things, let’s be happy.”

After drying her eyes, she reached out to wipe Fiona Sutton’s tears.

Fiona Sutton nodded, raising a smile.

”This IV drip is almost finished. I’ll push you outside for a stroll, the flowers in the garden are especially beautiful.”

Seeing her so upbeat about it, Fiona Sutton couldn’t resist, she could only nod.

”Alright, alright, the doctor also said we should go out more often, breathe some fresh air, only then can the body’s resistance improve.”

Fiona Sutton smiled, feeling warm inside from her concern.

Momentarily forgetting about Charles Northwood from before.

Meanwhile, at Star Media, Nia Mitchell was about to get off work when she received a call from Alan Morgan.

”Hello?”

”Little sister-in-law, CEO has some matters to handle, can’t join you for lunch, and probably won’t be able to pick you up later, so a driver will pick you up after work tonight.”

Nia Mitchell paused, biting her lip. Had the CEO gotten so busy he didn’t even have time for a phone call?
