Invincible Little School Doctor

Chapter 1488: Chapter 1488: Mess with Me and Try to Leave?

”Alliance Hierarch, aren’t you being... too arrogant?” After Yang Yi left, Yue Deng weakly spoke from the side.

”This is not arrogance, this is dignity!” Ye Haochuan said seriously, ”That guy almost killed me twice, if I still bow and scrape to him, that’s too disgraceful!”

The latter half of the sentence was clearly Ye Haochuan jesting, but Yue Deng could clearly feel the dignity in Ye Haochuan’s words.

”Well said!” Pu Qinglao suddenly spoke from the side, ”The path of cultivation is one that defies the heavens, without some courage to challenge authority, how could one achieve great accomplishments?”

”Thank you for the praise, senior. If it weren’t for your intervention this time, I’m afraid I wouldn’t even have the chance to utter such big words!” Ye Haochuan sincerely expressed his gratitude.

Pu Qinglao waved his hand and said, ”I only intervened because I find you pleasing to the eye, otherwise, do you think I would bother with trifles? So, now that you’ve seen my abilities, do you have any thought of apprenticing under me?”

Ye Haochuan felt like laughing at Pu Qinglao’s peculiar smile.

Yue Deng as a master, is indeed a peculiar old man.

”Senior, you must be joking. What virtue do I have to deserve to apprentice under you?” Ye Haochuan politely declined.

It wasn’t that he looked down on Pu Qinglao, but he had too many secrets. If he became a disciple, these secrets would have to be explained one by one, which would be quite troublesome.

Moreover, he cultivated quickly even without a master, so what use would a master be?

Upon hearing Ye Haochuan’s polite decline, Pu Qinglao said no more and directly turned to leave, ”I still have to visit an old friend, I’ll be off for now!”

Goodness, leaving just because of a disagreement, isn’t that awkward?

Ye Haochuan’s expression turned peculiar.

”Alliance Hierarch, don’t overthink. My master is just like this, saying whatever comes to mind, easygoing!” Yue Deng explained.

”Rascally boy, what nonsense are you spouting, aren’t you coming?” Without waiting for Ye Haochuan to respond, Pu Qinglao had already urged.

Could it be this old man felt embarrassed being rejected and wanted to flee?

Ye Haochuan felt like laughing, Pu Qinglao’s way of doing things was truly strange.

Yue Deng dared not linger upon hearing his master’s urging and said to Ye Haochuan, ”Alliance Hierarch, I’ll come find you when I get the chance!”

With that said, he quickly turned and chased after him.

Ye Haochuan smiled, but soon, his expression darkened.

Today’s events were truly bizarre.

He hadn’t encountered Yang Yi in the Sub-Shaking Dimension Realm at all, how did Yang Yi know he planned to register for the Greenstone Society, and even specially schemed against him?

”No, this matter definitely has something to do with Yang Quan!” Ye Haochuan’s eyes suddenly brightened.

He had just seen Yang Quan yesterday, and then experienced such events today. If he said it wasn’t related to Yang Quan, he wouldn’t believe it even if you beat him.

With this thought, his eyes flashed gold as he quickly scanned the surroundings. If it was indeed Yang Quan’s design, he was very likely nearby.

Sure enough, within mere seconds, he spotted Yang Quan and the two burly cultivators.

Damn it, you messed with me and still want to leave? I can’t handle Yang Yi, but I can deal with a mere Yang Quan!

Ye Haochuan was enraged, and with a flash, he used the Great Yan Step, quickly heading towards Yang Quan’s location.

At this moment, Yang Quan had already started to bolt. Seeing Yang Yi couldn’t kill Ye Haochuan startled him, making him flee.

But he hadn’t run far before Ye Haochuan caught up.

”Young Master Yang, truly impressive!” Ye Haochuan’s icy voice sounded behind Yang Quan.

Yang Quan’s face turned pale upon hearing this voice, his sprinting legs went weak, and he fell flat on his face.

The two brawny cultivators near him hurriedly helped him up.

”No... it wasn’t me, it wasn’t me...” Yang Quan uttered tremblingly, oblivious to the mud in his mouth.

”If it wasn’t you, then what are you doing here?”

”I... I was just passing by coincidentally!”

”Really?” Ye Haochuan sneered coldly, ”Do you remember what I said to you in the Imperial Capital? Since we ’coincidentally’ met today, why don’t we fulfill those words?”

Back then, Ye Haochuan said that if he met Yang Quan again, he would skin him alive and pull out his tendons. But when he saw Yang Quan cowed yesterday, he lost interest in making a move, letting him live until today.

He originally thought that after the previous incidents, Yang Quan would straighten up. But who knew, this guy actually set such a trap.

”Don’t, don’t kill me...” Yang Quan was thoroughly terrified, quickly pleading, ”I was wrong, I know I was wrong, I’ll never do this again!”

”Hey kid, what kind of cultivation technique did you use on our young master? I advise you to remove it, or we won’t be polite with you!” One of the burly cultivators couldn’t stand it anymore and shouted.

In his opinion, Ye Haochuan must have done something to Yang Quan; otherwise, Yang Quan wouldn’t behave so cowardly whenever he saw Ye Haochuan.

”Didn’t he tell you he wet his pants from fear?” Ye Haochuan coldly replied.

”You’re seeking death!” The burly cultivator furiously raged and threw a punch at Ye Haochuan.

The Institute of Extensive Learning didn’t focus on martial combat, so he completely underestimated Ye Haochuan.

After all, both of them possessed Core Formation Peak cultivation, naturally not fearing a Core Formation Late Stage guy.

They didn’t know that Ye Haochuan could completely dominate Core Formation Peak cultivators even when he was at Core Formation Early Stage. Now that he’s at Core Formation Late Stage, dealing with Core Formation Peak is child’s play.

”Fools!” Yang Quan seemed to foresee scenes of the two guards being beaten to a pulp by Ye Haochuan and wanted to stop them, but it was too late.

Only seeing Ye Haochuan flash, and the two guards each spurted a mouthful of fresh blood, collapsing softly to the ground.

”So... so fast! How could...” The two guards looked incredulous; perhaps only now could they slightly understand Yang Quan’s feelings.

This guy, is truly monstrous!

”Don’t kill me, I am the Yang family’s young master, killing me would do you no good. I beg you, don’t kill me!” Yang Quan continuously kowtowed.

By now, he had already cursed Yang Yi in his heart. If it weren’t for Yang Yi leaving abruptly, how would he have been tangled up with Ye Haochuan?

”Yang family’s young master? Haha, you’re still threatening me even now?” Ye Haochuan sneered.

”No, absolutely not! I’m begging you, I’m begging!” Yang Quan looked nowhere close to a Yang family’s young master; he had no dignity at all.

”Do you know, you look like a dog right now?” Ye Haochuan said disdainfully, ”Killing a dog would stain my hands!”

Yang Quan seemed not angered for being called a dog, instead, he showed joy and said, ”Thank you, Young Master Ye, for sparing my life...”

With that, he wanted to flee.

”Wait!” Ye Haochuan suddenly snorted coldly, ”Though I don’t want to stain my hands, to ensure you don’t pull any more tricks, sign a Blood Covenant with me!”

”This...” Yang Quan hesitated.

Signing a Blood Covenant would mean his life and death lay entirely in Ye Haochuan’s hands, completely barring him from turning the tables.

”What? Unwilling?” Ye Haochuan’s face darkened, speaking coldly.

Yang Quan was startled and quickly replied, ”Willing, willing!”

He had recognized the situation now; his life was in Ye Haochuan’s hands. Signing the Blood Covenant might let him live a few more years, whereas not signing meant dying instantly!

Soon, the Blood Covenant was established.

”Ye... Ye Haochuan, I...”

Yang Quan was about to speak when he saw Ye Haochuan suddenly glare coldly at him, shocking him and quickly correcting himself, ”No, no, no, Master!”
