Invincible Little School Doctor

Chapter 894: Chapter 893: Get an Ambulance Helicopter (2nd Update)

Ye Haochuan swept his gaze coldly and then turned his eyes towards Director Cao, saying in a stern voice: ”Do you see? These are the people under the protection of your police!”

Director Cao was already scared witless, fearing that Ye Haochuan would break his legs too, he begged with snot and tears: ”Young Master Ye, I really realize my mistake, please spare me, could you let me go?”

”Sorry, but I am not that magnanimous and compassionate!” Ye Haochuan sneered, ”You beat my father-in-law to this state, and you still want me to spare you? Wouldn’t that make me very unfilial?”

”We’ll pay, one million, would one million suffice?” Boss Zhang was thoroughly frightened by Ye Haochuan, bearing the pain as he spoke.

”Do I look like someone who lacks money?” Ye Haochuan’s eyes narrowed, and he said coldly, ”In your next life, remember not to commit so many bad deeds!”

Just as Ye Haochuan was about to strike down with his palm, suddenly a loud shout came from outside the tent: ”Where is the one surnamed Cao?”

Director Cao, as if grasping at the last straw, immediately shouted: ”I’m here, come and catch me, I’ll confess everything, please come and arrest me quickly!”

The arriving party turned out to be the police sent by Lin Xiaoquan to make arrests, and upon hearing Director Cao’s loud shouts, they quickly rushed in.

Ye Haochuan seemed to be stunned by the sudden turn of events and did not continue his action.

A moment later, the personnel from the police station arrived, and it happened to be Chen Yushan’s former boss, Director Luo.

”This...” Seeing Director Cao and Boss Zhang kneeling on the ground, Director Luo was somewhat flabbergasted.

”I’ve committed a crime, arrest me quickly, police station, hurry!” Director Cao howled.

He would now rather stay in prison than continue to be with the deranged Ye Haochuan. At least in jail, he wouldn’t have to be beaten; here, his life was at risk at any moment.

The key point was that it seemed Ye Haochuan could kill without facing criminal responsibility; even if he was killed, he had nowhere to seek justice.

”Committed a crime? What crime exactly?” Ye Haochuan smiled coldly and said indifferently.

”I’ve taken a lot of bribes, amounting to nearly ten million, and also helped them bully the people, I’m basically deserving of death, quickly take me away!” Director Cao looked at Director Luo with hope in his eyes.

”Uh...”

Director Luo was at a loss for words, encountering someone who confessed their crimes so readily for the first time, and for a while, he felt speechless.

Ye Haochuan suddenly put away his cold expression and smiled faintly at Director Luo: ”Director Luo, did you get the confession recorded?”

Director Luo instantly realized, Ye Haochuan had forced Director Cao to say all this as evidence for his conviction.

”Um... not yet recorded!” Director Luo replied with slight embarrassment.

”No worries, I’ve recorded it!” Ye Haochuan handed his phone to Director Luo and played back what he had just recorded.

Although it included the sounds of Ye Haochuan beating people, proper editing would not affect the outcome.

Having had many dealings with Ye Haochuan, Director Luo naturally knew how to handle such a small matter.

”Take them away!” After copying the video and recording, Director Luo immediately left with Director Cao and Boss Zhang.

The two men not only did not resist, but also seemed to be greatly relieved, following Director Luo as they left.

Ye Haochuan expended so much effort because he wanted to create more evidence of their crimes; otherwise, if these two denied everything, it would be difficult to convict them in a short time.

After the police left, the construction workers looked at Ye Haochuan like they would at the Killing God, and didn’t dare to stay in the shed, fleeing as if escaping. Soon, only Ye Haochuan and Yang Hong, father and daughter, were left in the shed.

”Brother Ye, thank you, you saved us again!” Yang Hong said gratefully.

”Why should we even say thanks to each other?” Ye Haochuan chuckled and said, ”Shall I take a look at uncle first?”

Only then did Yang Hong remember Ye Haochuan was also a doctor, and an extremely skilled one at that, so she quickly asked Ye Haochuan for help with the treatment.

”How is it? Is my father’s condition serious?”

”It is indeed quite serious, but with me, the Junior Godly Doctor, I guarantee that I’ll have your father-in-law back on his feet in no time!” Ye Haochuan said with a wide grin.

”Brother Ye, you’re terrible! Who’s your father-in-law?” Yang Hong’s pretty face blushed crimson, and she muttered, ”President Han’s father is your father-in-law, you can’t just say that...”

So that’s what she’s concerned about?

Ye Haochuan also felt a bit embarrassed. He hadn’t yet spoken to her about the matter of him having several women, no wonder he always felt she was avoiding him.

However, now clearly wasn’t the time to explain all that; his father was still lying sick in bed, and if he talked about it now, she wouldn’t be able to take it in.

Thinking this, Ye Haochuan just shrugged awkwardly without offering further explanation and took out the Silver Needle to start treating Yang Zongde.

Yang Zongde had suffered serious injuries, with several ribs broken. It took Ye Haochuan quite a bit of time to properly set all the bones.

”He must not move around at will for a week, no heavy labor for three months. With the traditional Chinese medicine I prescribe, he will recover very quickly,” Ye Haochuan said, after a long while, wiping the sweat from his forehead.

”Thank you for your hard work, Brother Ye!” Yang Hong expressed her gratitude once again.

”In the future, don’t just tough it out on your own, a female... um, a friend is there to help, right? It’s much easier to face things together than on your own,” advised Ye Haochuan.

”I understand!” Yang Hong’s face turned a shade redder as she nodded, looking down.

”By the way, I’ve got some business to take care of in the Imperial Capital soon, so if you need anything, you can just talk to Han Xue’er, she will help you out...”

The two talked for a while before the ambulance finally arrived, tardily.

It was the staff from Haishan Affiliated Hospital, and they recognized Ye Haochuan at a glance. Somewhat embarrassed, they said, ”Doctor Ye, you’re here too? We got stuck in traffic just now, sorry to have kept you waiting...”

Ye Haochuan was speechless. With such rescue speeds, if they actually encountered a critically ill patient, they’d probably be gone by now.

But, obviously, it wasn’t the driver’s fault. Nowadays, with so many people driving in the emergency lane, there was nothing they could do about it.

He might as well just get an ambulance helicopter!

No sooner said than done, Ye Haochuan immediately called Xiao Haimei and suggested the idea.

”Come on, can you not say things without thinking about the expense? Helicopters are expensive, you know?” Xiao Haimei said, annoyed after hearing Ye Haochuan’s suggestion.

”Worst case scenario, I’ll pay for it. Anyway, I’ve got so much money now I don’t even know how to spend it,” Ye Haochuan laughed and replied.

Whether it’s the Affiliated Hospital or the Medicinal Cuisine Shop, or even Zhao’s Ice Muscle Revitalizing Cream, each contributes a sizable profit to Ye Haochuan’s pockets every month; he’s really not short on money now.

”Well, that’s great to hear. With Lord Ye’s word, I’ll get this sorted for you!” Xiao Haimei replied with a light chuckle.

Actually, Haimei has long considered acquiring a helicopter for the Affiliated Hospital given its growing fame. Now with Haochuan funding it, she can get a helicopter without spending a penny, so why wouldn’t she?

Yang Hong and her father were taken to the hospital by ambulance. Though their condition wasn’t serious, it was still safer to be in the hospital. Anyway, with the connection to Ye Haochuan, Yang Hong wouldn’t have to spend much money.

After sorting these things out, Ye Haochuan finally left the construction site with no particular hurry.
